    Jujube trees!! $150 each
    Molly E.

I am so so excited that I found this place that sells a variety of jujube trees! Luckily, I came to visit while the trees were fruiting so I was able to try which jujube I liked best. Unfortunately they didn't have the mid range price available for the variety I liked so I got one that was $150. Hoping that it will be worth it and that it will bear lots of fruit! The people working were also very helpful and patient with me while I was deciding. If I had a bigger backyard, I would have gotten so many more trees!

Amazing place with amazing selection. Don't listen to the 1 star losers, they have no idea what they are talking about. I got 3 of my beautiful roses from here. The woman is very sweet and is just a quiet lady. 10/10 would recommend!!!

I really appreciated the ease of this place. Finally got my singuenelli orange tree. Healthy, vigorous, and already mature fruit. Cant beat their prices either. If you're trying to citrus tree shop and are in the applicable areas for quarantine, don't waste your time, just come here. They have everything.

    Pakistani Mulberry Cutting $10

Do I recommend going here? Depends... I got two $35- 5 gallon Pomegranates with one fruit on each. They looked pretty good, yellow leaves- but normal since we are in the first week of October. They are about 3 feet tall and seem like they will survive. I mention that because as you'll see on the receipt: ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO GUARANTEE. I also bought a little Pakistani Mulberry for $10. I'm not new to plants and gardening and am fairly familiar with nurseries in the LA/OC area and it was my first time. Possibly not my last, but they will not guarantee a plant to survive like Armstrong Garden's lifetime guarantee or other nurseries. Pomegranate and Mulberries are hard to kill, so I think I'm safe there. They do have a wide selection of roses, medicinal and other rare fruit you can't find anywhere else. The staff was a little short but courteous and I found what I needed. They helped me quickly and I was in and out of there within 10 minutes, and left very pleased. If you need people to be extra informative and customer service oriented, you might need to do some research and go to a chain like Armstrong or H&H in Lakewood. But if you know what you want and know what to look for, I'd say it's one of the best nurseries out there; just keep in mind- no refunds or guarantees. One good thing that other nurseries don't have, is an active site with selections and offerings- as usually this may change with time. On the other side- they never answered their phone lol best of luck.

Idk how to start this but I like to say and give a big thank you and shout out to Mike at Mimosa Nursery in Anaheim! I've been trying and falling for two years to graft my "blade smith mentor" William Stroman old avocado tree a "don gillogly avocado" to a hass which I purchased from them... I've tried grafting over 10+ times over years that all failed. At one point we even tried an air graft. That only lived a short time after transplant the rooted air graft to a pot. But recently my dear friend passed away. Shortly there after I stoped by Mimosa Nursery in Anaheim to talk to Mike, I just talked to him a couple months ago about grafting (I never thought about asking advice before about grafting until now from people at the nursery ) long story short he got it to stick !!! I was about to cry it was my last shot! I didn't have access to his avocado tree anymore after his move to AZ. It was one of the last things I had from him that is now alive and growing I waited a couple weeks before posting just in case my Not so Green thumb make this successful graft fall too lol ... but it looks like she's growing great!. This is my sec avocado plant I've bought from them ... I'll be back for sure! Thank you again Mike! -- at Mimosa Nursery.

I was a little nervous after reading some of the bad reviews, but I had a very good experience. I live within the quarantine area for citrus, and I was able to text the nursery to confirm my address, availability of citrus plants, and prices . The number I reached is (714) 828-0780, and they were very responsive (within 15 mins). Some reviews mention price gouging. This did not happen to me. I was able to check the prices on the website, and that is the price I paid. There is a great variety of fruit bearing trees here. As soon as I arrived, a man helped me pick a citrus tree. He showed the available trees in the citrus viewing area, provided helpful tips, and helped me safely pack the tree into my sedan. They do accept credit card, so it was a very easy process from start to finish. I will come back for sure.

We got Calamundi , Cara cara and Malik mangoes.

Huge inventory of fruit trees...many difficult to find elsewhere. Employees were helpful and able to answer questions about stock.

Inventory appears healthy, though as other reviews mentioned, prices are slightly higher than similar plant stores and nurseries. When I came on a Sunday afternoon, there was a workshop happening (the other two-thirds of the space), so classes are probably where the Green Place focuses most of their efforts I would guess. The associate up front wasn't friendly or unfriendly, but I also didn't feel compelled to leave with a new houseplant. Maybe if the occasion arises, it would be a fun spot to do a group activity - but personally, that isn't today for me.

The plants I got were some Pothos, Dracaena, and Monstera. I loved that they explained to me how to take care of the plants. The team there also helped me select the plants that would be best for the amount of light that comes into my place. The average cost for the plants I bought were around $12-15 and I'd say they're about small-medium sized plants. As a bonus, they also partnered with another small business that offers pottery painting towards the back of the store. You could probably purchase a plant and then paint something to put the plant in. How cool!

My boyfriend and I actually initially found it as we were driving through La Mirada, but the name of the store caught my eye and we went in a few months ago, but I'm finally getting around to writing a review for them now! There was a gentleman who was running the store, who I learned was the owner! They had apparently been open in LA for a long time before packing up and moving over to La Mirada! The plants inside (as the name might suggest) were a mixture of trees and small plants. I'm not the best at knowing what plant species are what, but the vibe was very gardeny. What I mean by that is, that the owner of the location seems familiar with the plants, handling them, repotting them, etc. The entire time we were perusing, he was moving plants around, repotting, while also being very attentive and answering our questions. My favorite part of the store is tucked away in the back corner. It's a collection of art and art pieces. The painted plants were actually painted by the store owner's mother! In the end, that's what I ended up buying (I got 3 painted pictures). I don't remember exactly what the price was, but I remember being very pleased with what we got. If you have 5-10 minutes to spare and you're in the area, I recommend checking out Namoo Plant Shop. What you find might actually surprise you!

I was totally intrigued and was looking for an appropriate dish or vase to preserve the fragrant blossoms of my plant in the backyard. I immediately saw the donut looking ceramic vase in assorted colors. After chatting and getting to know more about the plants and Hawaiian articles as well as colorful clothing, I learned that my plumeria is most likely of the sweet fragrant "Gardenia" type. It was suggested that the shiny black donut dish would serve me best. The lovely missus will love the sample 5 petal flower I received with my purchase and I will get the vase filled with my own at home. With so many Art and articles and just Hawaiian fun things/souvenirs, I was shown by Arlene behind the counter, a "Cook Street" Hawaiian print shirt of great value that for sure will fit me.
