My friend and I went for our first time to purchase Plumeria cuttings. They have over 200 Plumeria plants at the nursery. You choose your cuttings online and pay for them. Then it takes a day or two until they are ready. They email you when it is time for pick up. Am very happy to have chosen this nursery and look forward to many years of shopping there. It is magnificent with many extraordinary plants there. read more

Went to this Nursery today just to look for a purple Plumeria and I found one! If this nursery doesn't have it, it probably doesn't exist. I could've spent hours here even the heat of the day couldn't get me to stop gawking at all of the different plants. Prices vary from affordable to Wow! The staff is very nice, welcoming and helpful. I bought my purple plumeria and I have my eye on a couple of different plants just need to decide where I will plant them first and I will definitely be back. read more

Purchased a handful of different Plumeria cuttings from Upland Nursery. Their selection is impressive. They were all a decent size, some with multiple tips, and were a reasonable price for each variety. All were priced accordingly. They were shipped quickly and arrived the next day as we are located in so cal as well. Just planted them and looking forward to seeing them grow! read more

My Plumeria arrived and it is so Beautiful. It arrived very well packed, very fresh cut. I absolutely love it. I will be back for more. * I already placed another order, this time 4 more. Thanks for the healthy, Beautiful Plumeris. read more

Ordered once. Pretty decent sized order. Bought about 20 plants. One of them wasn't properly cut, giving me no chance in rooting it. All the other plants seem to be fine until I had noticed some red veining in the leaves AKA mosaic virus. Reached out to the nursery to let them know and they responded "We clean up the clippers everyday at the end of the day". This just let me know they do not know what they are doing and clearly don't care for transferring diseases/viruses to other plants. Which probably means most of their plants has mosaic as it is spread by sap. And if they aren't properly cleaning after every cut or maybe even tree to tree..... this is concerning. I gave them the chance to make it right. My buddy has the same issue with his cutting he got from them as it is the same variety as the one I got and turned out to also be mosaic. I am hoping this didn't spread to my other expensive plants. But who knows. Sad to see a "nursery" not using proper methods to cut and trim their trees. read more

Great selection of plants. Helpful staff. They can give suggestions on plants you want or need for a variety of lights and temps.

i will start by saying i almost don't want to review this place so i could be selfish. They are an amazing group of people who run this nursery that i have used for the past decade. Their plants are healthy and the staff is kind and knowledgeable. Pricing is fair and you can ask questions and get honest and helpful answers. read more

We've been happy with their selection and their service here. We can usually find whatever we're looking for even when they're kind of odd requests. If we can't they're happy to order it or tell us when they'll have it. This place is our go to nursery. Give them a try! read more

I love this place. I feel so bad, because I posted reviews for other nurseries, but I was mistaken in the name of the correct nursery. This place is a little hard to find but well worth the drive. I went specifically for aquatic plants and their plants are beautiful. the employees are so helpful and knowledgeable. So if you're looking for plants for your pond, this is the place to go. read more

Cute nursery!! I thoroughly enjoyed coming here on a Sunday afternoon admiring all the beautiful plants. They have an awesome array of indoor and outdoor plants, including a lot of the trendy plants like fiddle leafs, string of hearts / pearls, devil's ivy, spiders plants etc. Perfect for any room indoors. They also have a huge selection of outdoor plants and flowers that are really well kept. Not a lot of parking spaces so you might have to wait for a spot to open up before you head in to shop. I left with a Pilea Peperomioides (aka Chinese Money Plant) and I love it! It was $14.99 which was a bit pricy but it's more of a rare plant that is hard to find. Would've run me upwards of $20 in DTLA. Other similar plants ranged from $4.99 to $20 so there's something for every budget. Definitely check them out if you're in the area. Will definitely be back! read more

Major discovery! And my personal opinion is, it is even better than going to the arboretum. Oh my, they sure do know how to tempt us weaklings. I am such a sucker for the exotic/unique. And this is not just about plants, we're talking here. But make sure you hand over your wallet to your husband before entering. I didn't and he is now sitting next to the cutest 18" (?) garden gnome in my car. This seemingly small nursery has enchanted me worse than the Greek Sirens of Gibralter mythical creatures could possibly have done. First and foremost, I was deceived. Now you may think that I am complaining. I wasn't. From the street, it looks like a small, run of the mill nursery on a narrow lot. But you really should pull out your hiking boots from the back of the closet. It goes, and goes, and goes back some more, sectioned into zone after zone, from exotic succulents, to rare ferns, to gorgeous camellias and gardenias, to unique trees. And then there is the garden art. I completely lost it when I met my next family member, that jolly little garden gnome carrying a little lantern that can accommodate a small tea light candle. I adopted him forthwith. A little road trip to help forget the extraordinarily restricting pandemic situation, a delightful place to wander unimpeded while Mother Nature gives you a hug and a breath of fresh air, a place where you can find that special something to bring a smile to your face. This is how I choose to remember this place. I hope you like it too. read more

Always a great nursery to find common to unusual plants! Great selection of fruit-bearing and plumeria plants. Give them a visit!

Very friendly and nice nursery loaded with lots of interesting plants, trees, and gardening items. As you stroll through, be sure to keep going deeper and deeper in the back, there's a lot more room and lots to see! The parking lot is very small, but the staff is friendly! read more

Purchased from them twice and spent over $500. The first time, I got some pond plants which were great, but my black elephant ears became infested with spider mites within 2 weeks of bringing it home. I've never had spider mites and didn't quarantine the plants and it spread to all my other elephant ears. My new elephant ear ended up dying. Called and asked what to do, and let them know that I purchased two weeks prior, they said it wasn't from them as they didn't have any spider mites and it would have come more recently than 2 weeks. The second trip, (about 3 weeks ago) I got a Bonsai tree. I also got the soil, and the pot for it and was pricey! I now call it my Bonsai from hell as it has had spider mites, some sort of millipede, fungus knats and now thrips! I have NEVER had thrips and am floored by having to deal with this. I've never had so many pest problems from any other nursery as I've had with Upland Nursery. And too bad since it's cute! Will not be going back! read more

Purchased plumeria cuttings and they gave me really healthy good cuttings, some even with three tips on top. All were fat and healthy and green. They came with sturdy aluminum tags with the species etched on so one can identify and not mix up the different kinds of plumeria. I appreciate that, especially with paper ones can get wet and rip off, and then there is no way to tell what they are. With the aluminum tags, they WILL stay properly identified. Prices were the lowest I have seen. Many, many different varieties to choose from, even more than many Hawaii nurseries! Awesome place, will be returning customer for sure! The male staff member I inquired about the plumerias with was sincere and genuinely helpful. Made me feel welcomed. The staff here have good work ethic and take good care of the plants. And their cuttings indicate that! read more

Cute little nursery located on the west side of busy Tustin Avenue, right next door to the bigger Village Nursery. If you drive to fast you will miss it! The parking lot and entrance is lined with plumeria trees. It's a really pretty and shady walk through to the back where you will find many mature plants and trees. If you are looking for a plumeria tree this where you should look. It amazes me how pricey these trees are, considering how easy they are to cut a branch and start your own. The ones here look much healthier than what you see at a Lowe's or Home Depot. There are a few knick knacks, decor and garden ornaments that are available for purchase. The sound of roosters is from a small chicken coop that is tucked away near the booth where you pay. There is also a rooster in a coop in the front parking lot area. I'm giving it five stars because it's cute, tranquil, owner and staff were nice. read more

This nursery has the most beautiful plumeria and other tropical plant! My backyard looks like a tropical oasis.

Tons of plants!!! Like millions....if was overwhelming for me but to a plant enthusiast, it would be heaven! Prob with covid times, the upkeeping of plant leaves may be harder with less employees so it was hard for me to get indoor plants here. The owners were super duper nice. UNDERRATED SPOT! . Visited Upland Nursery today and just wow! What an amazing nursery. Here are my thoughts: * Amazing selection of mostly rare houseplants. If you are a noobie houseplant owner, maybe try another place with more common selection, if you are a rare plant collector like me, this spot is impressive! * As mentioned, amazing selection of rare plants at very reasonable prices. * This nursery is huge! * Pottery was very reasonably priced for terra-cotta pots * Staff was friendly and helpful. Seems to be family owned so another plus. * On-site parking with about 10 spots * Ferns seem to be their specialty since they have so many! . Probably one of my new favorite spots. Will be coming back here whenever I am in the area of orange. read more

Such a cute nursery! It feels like a Zen garden. Very relaxing experience to be here. I came here to check out the plumerias but found lots of other interesting plants to look at. They have a lot of grafted plants: several different colors of plumerias on one trunk, or several fruit trees in one. Very interesting. As far as plumerias, they had a large variety but the plants they have in stock are very large and pricey. If you want a cutting you pay on their website and they make the cutting after you pay. Unfortunately the cuttings will be fresh, not callused or rooted so you're a bit out of luck if it doesn't survive. Other nurseries sell rooted cuttings at the same price. The other plants sold here are more established and larger than I saw on similar nurseries and the prices are higher. They have a large bonsai selection and some water plants in their pond, all of which where lovely to see. read more

I LOVE this nursery! I never thought I'd have one as my go to but I've officially found it. I took on being a plant mom bc of COVID and being home often and found this nursery on yelp. The workers are super friendly and very knowledgeable. I've gotten several plants now that are still thriving and it's been about 2 months? I recommended this place to my family and they all love it as well. I think the prices are reasonable! I don't think they're too pricey. The only downside is the parking lot is super tiny but thankfully I've never had any issues! read more
