OMG, came here for Jungle Fest 2019. VISUAL FEAST FOR THE EYES!!!! Amazing plethora of all things tropical, jungle like. There was a vast array of palms, bamboos, trees, tropical plants, etc. AMAZED BY THIS PLACE. All the plants were in such great condition. I know it takes great effort to keep everything so beautiful. Excellent discovery. When I redo my backyard, I will definitely start here. The event was so kind, friendly and generous. This place is a Jungle plant wonderland ! I'm in love ! They have very large specimens, as they supply plants to commercial landscapers and businesses. They also have a vast selection of large and small house plants. I bought a gigantic Monstera for my Cousin for $90 ! They also sell living and faux plant walls. The plants are super, super, super healthy, and beautiful. The prices are reasonable for the household plants, in my opinion. I bought a gorgeous pothos and dracena marginata. I did not have a good experience with this company. I contacted them for a small patio project and sent pictures and dimensions. Initially, the sales person was fairly responsive, only taking 2-3 days to respond to questions. However, after the first week of asking questions and having the quote redone it began to take at least a week to get a response and I would sometimes have to send multiple emails. Finally, I contacted customer service and asked for someone else to help us. I was told that one of the owners was going to be contacting me to address my concerns. When I finally got a response from the original sales person and told her we would not be moving forward, the customer service rep told me that the owner wouldn't be contacting me anymore and that I should just continue to work with the person who was non responsive. That is the WORST customer service response ever. I had literally been talking to this company for a month about our project. You'd think they would want to salvage a potential $3,000 project, but I guess the customer is not important. read more

So these guys are well-hidden in the bowels of a Santa Ana industrial area off Main Street. They have an amazing selection of tropical plants to choose from, and a huge spread of outdoor space where you can roam around freely. The people there are knowledgeable and very helpful. They know their stuff- particularly about bamboo, which can be problematic if you don't know what you're doing. Prices are quite high, though many plants are only available there. There are no seedlings or small plants for sale. Everything is in a larger container and yard ready. It's no bargain, but you're paying for knowledge and they are top-notch. I called ahead to see if they had a large selection of indoor plants available. The woman I spoke with said yes, they have a greenhouse full of them. The greenhouse was packed with gorgeous indoor plants that looked very well cared for. I picked out the ones that I wanted, and the woman approached me and said that they were not for sale. The only ones for sale were on one specific table (nothing was marked to indicate what was or was not for sale). So, out of the entire greenhouse, only one small table had items that were available for purchase. I asked why the rest of the plants including the one I'd picked out were not for sale, and she told me that they don't have many of them, so they can't sell them just in case. That's crappy! Especially since I called ahead and drove so far to get there! One table out of the whole large greenhouse is essentially what I was allowed to choose from. If you're lucky enough that they want to let you purchase their plants, then good for you. But to lie to me about the availability over the phone, and then to let me shop around for 15 minutes before you break my heart about the plants I'd chosen, that's just plain crappy. I won't be returning. I will not be returning. read more

I had a great experience with Instant Jungle finding a draconea draco tree for my home. They had a large selection and much better quality than what I found looking around at other places locally. The prices seem fair for the quality you get. I thought their customer service was excellent. From when I first reached out for pricing to the guys that delivered the tree. The one star review from a bitter user is extremely ridiculous! I love this nursery and will always check their inventory before even considering looking elsewhere. They have by far the best assortment of plants and their staff is always so helpful. Yes, their 6 in potted plants are currently being reserved until their new shipments can arrive and I was bummed to hear that. However, I've been calling them every other day to see if that hold had been lifted because I'm so eager to snag some more of their gems! Also, this temporary delay of sale is clearly explained in their greenhouse on a sign that can't be missed! Thank you to their fabulous staff for always being so wonderful! I contacted Instant Jungle after two huge palms I had got bugs and died. Not only did they come to the house and look at what might grow it the spaces but also helped with existing plants and their watering needs as well as figuring out new plantings around the property. Kasey Black and her crew, which consisted of Beto, Pablo and Joe, did an amazing job moving around old plants and positioning the new one. My home looks amazing! They were such nice guys, even taking the time to show me how much water to give all my new plants so as to keep them happy and healthy. I'd not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to anyone needing help with landscaping. read more

My experience with Instant Jungle is five star and I wish I could give ten. My wife and I have been using Instant Jungle for 15 years. Although we are not a big customer, they treat us as if we are. I would strongly recommend going to any of the many nurseries in Orange County instead of ever going to this place. The people were dismissive and rude. My husband I went to Instant Jungle International to buy some bamboo for our backyard. After careful research we chose this nursery because it was considered one of the best nurseries in Orange County. However, after wandering around for over 30 minutes and passing about a half dozen employees, no one came to help us. We decided to go to the office there and about four people were talking about where they got certified for scuba diving in a room with a window looking out at the reception desk. We could see them and they could see us. After about ten minutes two people left the office having to walk past us, one of the other people then walked into another windowed room where three more people were and started a conversation. Everyone was completely ignoring us. We were wandering around deliberately to make ourselves known. After about another five or ten minutes we left. We checked online before visiting and appointments were not necessary and this is both a retail and a wholesale nursery. These people didn't know what we there for and couldn't care less. We saw one other customer there who was being helped and when I tried to get the female employee's attention, she too just walked passed us. I am extremely angry and frustrated to have been treated this way. We are not some teenagers fooling around. We were there to spend a substantial amount of money to fill a large spot on our property. Orange County has many, many wonderful nurseries. Avoid this one at all costs. They are rude, careless people. read more

Been to these folks three times because I wanted plants that were higher quality than what you get at Home Depot. Unfortunately the $1,500 we've spent has not had good results, after they visited are home and made recommendations and we followed them to a T . Their greenery was far superior in quality than any other nursery we had visited and best of all, once we had chosen a tree, they were able to deliver and plant it for us the very next morning while other nurseries had told us it would be almost a month until they could accommodate us. Ever wonder where hotels and malls get their gorgeous palms, bamboo and indoor plants? Welcome to the jungle! This place can be intimidating at first because they don't have a paved parking lot and employees in little vests but walk the grounds with Glen or Andy and expect to have your mind blown. The quality, selection and prices will make you want to buy a larger house with a bigger yard. Check out their greenhouse with a huge variety of indoor plants and ask to see their warehouse of new and used containers and artificial plants (they make custom fake trees and plants on-site). Interested in a living wall, black bamboo or baby queen palm? They have those in stock. I just bought another 8 plants today and they charged me *less* than I was willing to pay to be sure I was getting a quality product at a good price, and that was after I received a smoking deal on a pair of bamboo palms last week. My advice: get your potting mix and flowers at the nurseries and hardware stores and when you're ready to select the perfect plants and trees for you with the help of a professional, grab your tennis shoes and some cash and take a trip to the jungle. read more
