We would like to cover our dirt areas in our front and back yards with mulch. Is it possible to mix the forest floor with the deco bark? We like the softness underfoot of the "forest floor" but the color of the deco bark is a bit richer.

Hi Laurie, Yes, we can combine two products for a small mixing fee. Please email us at…

I'd rather gatekeep this place since i love it, but here I am. Please support this great business…read more It really is one of my favorite go to spots for everything garden related. They have quality soil (fox farm), fertilizer (tiger bloom), vidawool, hydroponic products, irrigation tubes & accessories, perlite, garden pots, saucers, most things a gardener needs. Friendly workers, the price is affordable, all around great place to shop whether you are just a hobbyist or commercial grower. Would recommend this place to anyone.

The guys (Taylor and Jeff) who were working today were awesome. I had called beforehand to see if…read morethey had the General Hydroponics products that I was looking for and spoke with Taylor. He was informative and friendly over the phone. In person, he was amazing with even more knowledge to share. Jeff was friendly and knowledgeable as well. As always, I get lost and hidden behind product shelves, but Jeff took the initiative to take notice and greeted my hubby and I with enthusiasm. While I'm not new to keeping (killing) indoor plants, I am new to hydroponics and fertilizing my indoor plants. So, I appreciate the education, especially from people who have been doing this for a long time. It's important for me to learn from people who are not condescending or impatient because it will turn me away so quickly. All this to say that Taylor really took the time to explain so many products to me and made both his personal and budget friendly recommendations. If you're looking for genuine people who know what they're doing and what they're selling, this is it!

Gary is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely knows his stuff. His videos are easy to understand, practical, and have made a huge difference in helping me keep my tree healthy. I narrowed down a small list and showed it to the staff. They were nice and knowledgable and were able to help. They didn't have all the ones I wanted, but I did end up with a couple of plant pots. I love the nursery cats that live there! They are so chill, and cute! Was told they are technically stray cats but they just live at the nursery now and the staff feeds them. Awww. The place is fairly big and does have a lot of plant options. If you don't already know what you're looking for, it might get a little overwhelming.
