A shop of knowledgeable guys will tell you what's wrong with your car how much it'll cost no bs. I did the searching for you and landed on Vic's. I came in for an oil change after Jiffy Lube (boo) stripped my oil pan and oil leaked all over the under carriage of my car and they rethreaded the bolt for me no extra charge. (The oil change was already cheaper than other shops I was looking at) I need new breaks and some more work done and I already know I'm coming back to Vic's.

They told me the battery and alternator both needed to be replaced, and I paid a little over $1,000 for the repair. As soon as I got home, the exact same noise was still there. I decided to get a second opinion from another mechanic, who showed me that only the battery had been replaced. The alternator was still the same one and looked like it had never even been removed. When I called to ask for a refund for the alternator, they told me to bring the car back. By then, my car was already at the other shop being repaired correctly. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this business. I expected an honest diagnosis and to receive the repairs I paid for, but unfortunately that wasn't the case

We went to a few places to get a quote and they were wildly overpriced. Several of those shops said it wasn't worth repairing and that we should just replace the bumper for thousands of dollars. Then we came by Boyd's. Not only were they reasonably priced, but when they were done with the patch work, we couldn't even tell where the damage used to be! They were professional, treated us with respect and provided high quality work. Next time we need repairs, we won't need to look around. I highly recommend Boyd's Auto Paint & Body!

General manager Juan actually gave me a tour of the place when my car was here for a few weeks after a major accident. Ana at the front desk is such a sweetheart. And Edwin, the service advisor has been terrific! The first time I discovered this place, a neighbor had driven past my car and his spare tire attachment was loose and swung out, taking out my sideview mirror. After checking with AAA for a local shop, they suggested Caliber. They did the repair quickly and perfectly! Fast forward two years to this past April, and I was in a four-car chain reaction accident where my car sustained both front and rear damage. I immediately thought of my local Caliber. I had the car towed and they stayed open late to accept it. It was in the shop for two weeks and the work they did was pristine! My only complaint is with the Caliber company text messages which did not align with the shop having the car ready days earlier than what the automated text messages were telling me. As a working girl, you can imagine that this wasn't totally convenient. Thank you to GM Juan, Edwin & Ana for 5-star, stellar service on both occasions!

The repair itself is flawless, panel gaps, paint match, everything lines up like it came off the line that way. On a G-Wagon that's not a given; plenty of shops will happily take a swing at one and hand you back something that's almost right. This isn't that. But the part that really made the difference was the insurance side. Dealing with the at-fault carrier is normally a part-time job you didn't apply for, endless calls, lowball estimates, supplements that go nowhere. Alex handled all of it. He knew exactly what to push back on and how to document it, and I basically just got updates instead of headaches. Zero fighting on my end. He also does diminished value reports, which I didn't even know was a thing I should be asking about. A car like this loses real money on paper just from having an accident on the record, and he walked me through recovering that. If you've been hit and nobody's mentioned diminished value to you, ask him about it. Bonus: the man knows the local food scene better than most people who write about it for a living. Ask him where to eat while you're waiting, I got better recommendations there than from any app. Highly recommend. Ask for Alex.
