Went there this morning at 10:00 to sight in a pistol. Was told there were no lanes available but the range appeared to be nearly empty.

Wow if I could give them no stars I would. I am honestly horrified with treatment that we received from c2 and their employees. RACIST. We came in their establishment to spend OUR money and we were treated like animals. We came in there at 6 an hour away from close, we weren't spoken to until 6:25 and they told us that we still had to pay the full hour because they don't do that when another cashier had just told their caucasian customer his time would be comped and he was ready to go. EASTON gave our lane to someone else & then ignored us and did not say anything until 6:40. read more

First, I'm pretty sure their "No loaded, uncased or unholstered firearms" sign is just poorly worded. I have a hard time believing a range or gun store would ban customers from carrying inside. I'm going to assume their sign meant to say that IF a firearm is loaded, it should always be cased or holstered when not aimed downrange. Anyway, I actually like this place and wish it was closer to me so I could visit more often. The prices are more ideal than others, because they pro-rate them rather than going by-the-hour. (This means if you spend 30 minutes, you pay for 30 minutes - NOT a full hour, like other ranges.) It's also definitely the cleanest range I've been to so far, and I really appreciate the fact that their range officers are always present and active. I've had a couple idiots sweep the entire room with loaded firearms and both times the officers immediately addressed the issue accordingly. On the other hand, there are times where you might have to wait a considerable amount of time (45+ minutes) for a lane to open. Something else that really irked me was that they sell the pink breast cancer awareness targets, which I tend to purchase so that some of my money can be donated to a cause. But when I asked everyone working there how much on the dollar actually gets donated, no one - not even the manager - could answer me, or even say what organization specifically it goes to. That sounds odd to me, and I really hope they're not taking advantage of a cause to sell slightly more expensive targets... I was told that a manager would "get back to [me] on that one", but no one ever did. read more

Top 5 ranges I've been to between Arizona, Nevada and California. Once you walk in, it's very wide and don't feel cramped (easy for me, since I carry a lot of gear). Staff is very friendly. Range Officers do a great job in ensuring safety. Indoor ranges have a tendency to echo and can be concussive. C2 does a great job in relieving those effects. With only a few lanes per section and noise absorbent material, it's easy to spend hours in a lane. Only issue I could point out is there is nowhere to set your gear down when checking in or waiting for a lane. C2 is so good, I'm a member. read more

Went to this place September 22 around 4 pm and was surprised to see the lack of safety precautions being taken here. People reaching over the red line , not wearing masks and none of the staff recognized that or cared. Won't be returning. read more

The range welcomed the The Armed Women with open arms . What a great experience !!! Visiting from Central Indiana. The Scottsdale location.

I'm a new member here looking to increase my confidence, accuracy and skill level. The instructors and very knowledgeable, patient. After attaining classroom knowledge I was able to apply what was taught to achieve the aims of this course. With more consistent practice, I know I'll be ready to move on to the 300 level course. Thanks C2, you guys and gals are great. read more

Most amazing Bachelorette party kick off imaginable! Their all-inclusive Bachelorette Party package was so easy and Gena was a breeze to work with! She was hands on during the event and everybody had such a great time! Even the girls who were afraid to shoot have been raving about it all day! Our range officers were so much fun and truly made the event special for the bride. Thanks C2! We will be back for sure! read more

Me and my wife walked into C2 to shoot handguns for home defense. We were greeted by a friendly staff member immediately and asked what brings you to C2. Long story short, we were outfitted with the appropriate handgun and the instructor named Gabe took us to the range. His instructions were SO easy to follow that it wasn't intimidating to handle one. He was very friendly and patient. My wife had a compact 9mm and I was outfitted with a Glock 19. read more

We did the "Date Night" package and it had been quite a while since we'd been shooting. Kevin was our range supervisor and he was fantastic. From helping us make our selections to assisting us in the range, he was just fun to hang out with. Not to mention very knowledgeable and made us very comfortable. The whole staff was great and we can't wait to go back! read more

First time visitor to an indoor shooting range. Check-in staff was friendly & efficient. Wide variety of targets avail for purchase, I passed on the extensive collection of zombies & werewolves since they have been eradicated in Ahwatukee! Went traditional with a silhouette. I like the lane set-up and felt comfortable focusing on my own shooting even though every lane was in use, the only thing I would do different is WEAR A HAT to deflect the spent shells flying all over the place - gee whiz I almost took out my own front tooth! Good catalog of classes that are offered from novice to expert level. WEDS 2p-Close is Ladies Day -FREE shooter fee, I'll be back! read more

This was a pretty cool place. I am not really into shooting guns, but my little brother is, so we went here and I'm glad we did. The staff was really friendly to a newbie and they help you pick out a package that is best for you. They are also really honest and will also help you save money if you are spending more than you need to, which was really refreshing. The facilities were top notch and everything was really well maintained, clean and professional. The Range Officers were really helpful and they made sure that everyone was safe and that all the rules were being followed. All in all, it was a good experience and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is even remotely interested in going to a gun range. read more

We visited C2 tactical for the first time on Father's Day. Both of my daughters had never fired a weapon my 16-year old was extremely nervous. The Lane instructor was so awesome. He provided assistance, instruction and reassurance to her while assuring 100% safety. I was genuinely pleased with how professional and caring he was to her without judgment of her fear of firing a weapon. He did not pressure her but he was patient and encouraging. She wanted to participate so badly and finally was able to fire at her target. This was a great experience and a personal victory for my daughter. I would definitely recommend C2 tactical for their professional conduct and safety even when dealing with younger populations. I wish I could remember his name so I could personally thank him. read more

I am shopping for a smaller hand gun. My son and daughter in law took me to C2 Tactical. I was not impressed at all. Not a friendly atmosphere at all. I use mask and practice social distance. No one behind counter wore mask and the few people in the place got really close. If people working at this place don't care about their own health so be it but they should use mask to protect their customers. I won't spend a dime in this place. read more

I have taken the CCW, P100 & P200 at C2 Tactical. Last night's P200 class with Todd was AWESOME!! Todd is an AMAZING instructor, he should be doing nothing but teaching classes. I have no doubt that he is great on the sales floor, but his light shines brighter in the classroom. I learned so much in this class; far more than any other, and I am so excited to get on the range and practice what I learned. I had shot 4x and taken 2 classes still not knowing how to stand, hold the pistol, shoot the paper :) ect. But after last night's class I feel so confident (maybe it's bc at the end of class i shot 5 rounds in a cluster by the bullseye!). Thank you for everything Todd, you're the best!! read more

I came in to C2 Tactical last week in order to rent a few different handguns and compare them because I am thinking about getting a concealed carry gun. I rented a bunch of different guns and enjoyed my experience on the range! The range officer, Bobby was awesome! He assisted me throughout the entire duration of my range visit. He was able to effectively articulate all the features of the guns that I rented, as well as helped me with my grip and sight picture which really helped my shooting! The best part was that he was able to provide me with help while seamlessly supervising the rest of the patrons using the range that day. Thank you Bobby and C2 Tactical for the hospitality! Will be recommending to family and friends. read more

They are some of the knowledgeable about guns, they have a shooting rang and a gun repair shop; so check them out

I'm reviewing the CCW class, NOT C2 tactical. Specifically instructor Dan Lovelace. To start, we had to wait two months for this appointment due to Covid reason and limiting class sizes. Which is fine. However, when we arrived, the classroom was nearly standing room only. We got the last two seats available in the room and we felt like we were smashed in like sardines. There were 3 people not wearing masks, one being the instructor. There's a sign stating masks are required. Next, Mr. Lovelace introduced himself as an ex cop. He expressed to us his frustration with the courts due to his back story of losing his job due to an officer involved shooting when the victim died due to his gun shot. During the nature class we learned what not to say to the cops and the courts to keep us out of trouble. I was under the assumption that we would learn the laws of gun ownership. Instead I felt we were learning how to lie. Another time, Mr. Lovelace discussed current issues such as Covid, the uses of masks, the fear of protesters, the media agendas, the KKK, the black panthers and Aunt Jemima. I felt he was very insensitive to current events surround racial injustice. I felt like I was in a room surrounded by angry republicans. It was a very uncomfortable feeling. I feel his involvement in conversation was very unprofessional. Lastly, the class was poorly run. We paid $100 for a 7 hour class, that should have included the paperwork for the fingerprinting needed for our card. For whatever reason, that paperwork is no longer available at C2 tactical and we were referred to the DPS website. Now we're at home trying to figure out what to do. With the amount of information we received, it could have taken 30 minutes to go over. The rest was a waste of my time. We had an hour and a half lunch. When the classroom portion was complete, he sent us to the simulation room with the intention of only being able to take 8 people at a time. There would have had to be 4 groups for that to happen. So we rushed to the door of the simulation room so we wouldn't have to wait and waste anymore time. We waited 45 minutes before we finally had enough and left. I will never refer C2 tactical for any classes after this experience. I would think twice before choosing this class. read more

I went to the Scottsdale location for some basic shooting instruction and a handgun purchase. This store is amazing, they have everything you can imagine, and the staff was very helpful. Chad was our private sales consultant, and also acted as our instructor in the shooting lane. He was very patient when explaining everything, and super knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend G2 Tactical if you are looking to purchase or get instruction. read more

Well Hello! This is one of the nicest ranges I have been to in a while. I have been waiting for months for this place to open, watching the signs and what have you. Well it finally opened and I was able to get in for some range time. I really like the air conditioning. I have been in AZ for a while now and its always nice to be comfortable. I did some shooting with my 223 on the 75 foot rifle range and it was nice. The target controller is like a mini ipad, with a touch screen control - very cool. I picked up my 223 ammo from the frount counter and a cool zombie target. When I was done shooting I thought I would check around onthe firearms in stock as everyone seems to be out of everything these days. They had a solid selection to choose from and I will be back to pick on up come payday. I am thinking one of the new sig m11-a1's. Staff was very nice and they gave me a tour of the place. Cool looking rental space for parties with pool table. Maybe I can get my wife to spring for a birthday party for me here. They are going to start up classes in April so maybe I will get my concealed weapons class done. It comes free with my membership since I bought an intro class for $30. Kinda cool for a deal. I would say its worth the wait. read more

Great family place to experience gun handling and shooting for the 1st time! Staff is super supportive and kind! This is our 3rd time here!

Great spot for anyone looking to learn about firearms or who is already a firearm enthusiast. Went over to C2 to check out prices and learn more about personal protection firearms but the staff actually gave me a full break down on entry level firearms and the services which they offer. Definitely recommend it to anyone in the Tempe/Chandler area. They have an indoor shooting range and offer firearms rentals read more

Probably the best shooting range ever. Huge shout out to Zach, he started on my first day coming here and he's always here doing good work. Cool staff. Knowledgeable. These guys are safety first. Come here if you want to enjoy your firearm safetjt

I was quoted 20 mins wait. Not a big deal. However, during my wait i witnessed several disgusting behaviors. First, this large, bafoonish man yelled at me to get my hands off my hips...or at an employee. It was impossible to tell who he was attempting to humiliate. Then, another employee let out a large and disgusting burp in front of customers. After waiting 45 mins I left. No desire to go back. They lost my ID which i found on a countertop and just walked out. Their loss. Not going back. Even after being offered a free range pass (that I had to wait for as well) I still won't go back as their employees disgust me. The only positive seemed to be the genuine concern the young man behind the counter had for the situation. Good kid. read more

Great place to go if you've never shot a gun before and want to learn how to do so with the proper training. Went here in March for an hour on the range with an instructor. He was patient and knowledgeable, and by the end of the time, I was hitting the bullseye dead center multiple times in a row. But besides being able to hit the target, I am now properly prepared for how to handle a firearm should I ever need to do so. All the employees I dealt with at C2 was super friendly and gracious, and I look forward to going back there again to build up my skills and acquire more knowledge. read more

Helpful staff, good service, decent prices for lanes. Great place to practice your skills.

safe shooting range and amazing staff especially Ryan who helped me to find my favorite gun

My wife and I had a great experience today shooting as well as with buying a firearm. Todd Landers provided exceptional service. He worked with my wife to find a gun that fit her needs. He helped her learn some basics about firearms, safety and how to rack the slide. She has medical issues and is new at firearms. In the short time he worked with her she was able to load and operate the gun on her own. We will definitely be back to work with Todd on further firearms training. Austin was also great with the process of purchasing the firearm. He was professional and patient during the process. We will definitely continue doing business with him and C2. Both guys represented C2 well and will definitely ask for them by name. I wish all gun store owners/employees were as accepting and patient with a newcomer. I have been in a few gun stores in the past month and was typically met with arrogant attitudes and are not receptive of new gun enthusiasts. Thank you c2 for a positive experience. read more
