I was very respectful and kind and dropped my shoes off on Oct 14, today is Nov 21. After the initial drop off the owner assured me he could repair the shoes. Im a patient person but at some point the patience runs out. I walked in again about 2 weeks later to give him time since no one contacted me for p/u and was told he is behind and would take care of it so waited a few more weeks called to check and was told its still not done but would put a note in for owner. Fast forward another week no one has contacted me so I decided today to go in to check again. Guess what?! The shoes are still in the same spot. They actually look worse from the the drop off so that's a whole other story. I asked for my item back and decided to warn everyone. Dont be like me. Stay away from this tacky place with its tacky owner. There are plenty reputable cleaners in our area. Use them or go out of town. You have been forewarned.

Measurements are carefully taken, preferences noted, and details kept eternally. Going up and down in size is never embarrassing or challenging. After items are made, a fitting (or fittings) occur(s) until you are completely happy- and my family has some nit-picky members! Make sure you ONLY buy from the tons of fabric remnants- if you do, a custom suit is MUCH less than a ready-made suit from most better stores and fine stores (and it's worlds better than Brooks' Brothers and Nordstrom's.). Definitely try to negotiate - you will usually walk away with a somewhat thicker wallet (or, if you are as happy as we are, you will suddenly remember the need for an extra blazer!! They sell well and we do leave happy.). If you don't choose a remnant, though, you will pay dearly. Overall, a very worthwhile drive! We would never buy a good suit or blazer elsewhere!

Now, I've been in the customer service industry most of my entire life. One thing I've learned, if you can't satisfy what the customer is looking for, maybe offer some alternatives that might solve the issue. If a customer is willing to spend $400 on a suit and $179 on a pair of slacks, you might want to be a little more attentive and engaging. When she is going to hang it up, I asked her if it was okay that I brought a second dress (my rehearsal dinner dress) but before I could even finish she harshly cuts me off and told me "you need sit down, I have another client". I was very taken aback but how rude she was and it honestly caught me off guard. It was so bad I almost debated just taking my dress back and leaving but because I had waited a month for this appointment and my wedding was in a month, I figured I might as well see it through. Huge mistake. I change into my dress and describe to her the alternations I was looking for, which is to shorten it a little and also remove the breast cups. I did not think it was a significant amount of alternations but she seemed to think so. She then proceeded to tell me that she "may" be able to do it, but then looked at her calendar and said that she couldn't guarantee it. I honestly was so confused because she knew my wedding date when she booked this consultation appointment. If it wasn't something that could be done I feel she should've just told me up front rather than let me wait until the appointment. At that point I didn't even put up a fight as in the back of my mind, I knew I wouldn't have been comfortable with her altering my dresses anyways. She gave off the impression that if anything needed tweaking or wasn't to your satisfaction you would be SOL. All in all, a huge waste of my time. It would've been less of a bad experience if she wasn't so rude upfront. I'm starting to think her 5-star google reviews are faked, as at least on Yelp there are a few honest reviews that mention her bad attitude to her clients so it seems to be a common theme. I have no doubt she would've done a good job at the alternations, but that trust was gone.

I had passed this place on my way to drop my daughter at gymnastics and it seemed convenient. My first impression at walking in the door was how bright and clean it was. Everything looks well maintained and the machines are high quality. I must have looked like a deer in the headlights as I stood at the machine to purchase a laundry card. One of the very friendly staff members was right there to help me purchase a card and figure out how much to load based on what I needed to wash. She also helped me figure out the best machines for the amount of laundry I had. As I sit here, another staff member has been cleaning and wiping down machines. I was absolutely dreading coming to the laundromat this morning, but if I hadn't purchased a new washer and dryer yesterday, I would have totally been okay delaying my purchase for a couple weeks to bring my laundry here.
