I was very respectful and kind and dropped my shoes off on Oct 14, today is Nov 21. After the initial drop off the owner assured me he could repair the shoes. Im a patient person but at some point the patience runs out. I walked in again about 2 weeks later to give him time since no one contacted me for p/u and was told he is behind and would take care of it so waited a few more weeks called to check and was told its still not done but would put a note in for owner. Fast forward another week no one has contacted me so I decided today to go in to check again. Guess what?! The shoes are still in the same spot. They actually look worse from the the drop off so that's a whole other story. I asked for my item back and decided to warn everyone. Dont be like me. But they can come to Shalom Cleaners. So can your Uggs and leather coats. Return service isn't too bad. I dropped 13 pieces off on Wednesday and picked up on Friday. My leather coat will take a week. Prices for organic cleaning isn't bad either. Needless to say, I love this place.

So I continued to search and about 8-10 mins in, the female came over. Not very inviting but doable. When I told her what I was looking for, her response was, nope can't do that and walked away. Now, I've been in the customer service industry most of my entire life. One thing I've learned, if you can't satisfy what the customer is looking for, maybe offer some alternatives that might solve the issue. If a customer is willing to spend $400 on a suit and $179 on a pair of slacks, you might want to be a little more attentive and engaging. So Men's Warehouse...this is now the second time I've had this experience, in this location, Westminster Md. I've had it with this place. I am not interested in speaking to someone from customer service, I'm not interested in anything. The associates need to be more attentive to the customers. Straighten it out!

I made this appointment almost a month ago and told her that my wedding is early June. She did not mention that this would not be enough time to alter my dress when I initially booked the appointment over the phone. She didn't ask any follow-up questions and just booked me. Fast forward to today, I go in and arrive 15 minutes early to be courteous and punctual. I awkwardly stand there for 5 minutes without any acknowledgment, and then a women (I'm assuming is her) comes over and takes my dress. When she is going to hang it up, I asked her if it was okay that I brought a second dress (my rehearsal dinner dress) but before I could even finish she harshly cuts me off and told me "you need sit down, I have another client". I was very taken aback but how rude she was and it honestly caught me off guard. It was so bad I almost debated just taking my dress back and leaving but because I had waited a month for this appointment and my wedding was in a month, I figured I might as well see it through. Huge mistake. I change into my dress and describe to her the alternations I was looking for, which is to shorten it a little and also remove the breast cups. I did not think it was a significant amount of alternations but she seemed to think so. She then proceeded to tell me that she "may" be able to do it, but then looked at her calendar and said that she couldn't guarantee it. I honestly was so confused because she knew my wedding date when she booked this consultation appointment. If it wasn't something that could be done I feel she should've just told me up front rather than let me wait until the appointment. At that point I didn't even put up a fight as in the back of my mind, I knew I wouldn't have been comfortable with her altering my dresses anyways. She gave off the impression that if anything needed tweaking or wasn't to your satisfaction you would be SOL. All in all, a huge waste of my time. It would've been less of a bad experience if she wasn't so rude upfront. I'm starting to think her 5-star google reviews are faked, as at least on Yelp there are a few honest reviews that mention her bad attitude to her clients so it seems to be a common theme. I have no doubt she would've done a good job at the alternations, but that trust was gone.
