I had passed this place on my way to drop my daughter at gymnastics and it seemed convenient. My first impression at walking in the door was how bright and clean it was. Everything looks well maintained and the machines are high quality. I must have looked like a deer in the headlights as I stood at the machine to purchase a laundry card. One of the very friendly staff members was right there to help me purchase a card and figure out how much to load based on what I needed to wash. She also helped me figure out the best machines for the amount of laundry I had. As I sit here, another staff member has been cleaning and wiping down machines. I was absolutely dreading coming to the laundromat this morning, but if I hadn't purchased a new washer and dryer yesterday, I would have totally been okay delaying my purchase for a couple weeks to bring my laundry here.

I took several dresses in for alterations, which she proceeded to screw up by only taking in the front of the shoulders, not equally from the front and back. When I returned with the dresses to have them fixed (having paid, taken them home, tried them on, and discovered the mistake) the woman was so unbelievably rude. After arguing with her for 15 minutes, she agreed to "do the best she could" to fix them, which didn't amount to much. When we picked up our final order from her for just dry cleaning, she was beyond rude, returning the clothes with stains, and attaching a note that said "this is the best we could do." Between the bizarre note (she has never said anything before or attached a note) and her awful attitude, it seems as though she's holding some sort of grudge from screwing up the alterations. Bottom line: avoid this overpriced place like the plague, and take your dry cleaning elsewhere.

Operated by Mi Park and her husband, it is a locally-owned, family-owned business. Care Cleaners provides dry cleaning for garments, tablecloths, gowns, drapes and more, and they also do repairs and alterations and leather cleaning. I have always found them to be reasonably priced and the model of customer service. You are not just a number - she treats you like so many of the businesses treated customers when I was growing up in Westminster and it had a bit more of a small-town feel. Before the national chains came to town and many more of the businesses were locally-owned and the folks who worked in the businesses knew your name, your family, and your service preferences.
