This store in the scarier than hell Fashion Square Mall is an oasis of some of the most helpful staff I've seen at any Hot Topic. Maybe it's because they're not as busy as the crowded malls, but they're always willing to assist, help you with their odd coupon policy, and offer to order things to your house if they don't have it in stock. I was looking for something with Art the Clown and couldn't find anything at other stores (Spirit Halloween, Atomic Horror, etc.), so I took a chance and came here. They had a cool mask and it wasn't overly priced either. I've also purchased many t-shirts here of bands I like (Jim Nabors, Glen Campbell, The Doodletown Pipers) as well as some metal t-shirts as well. They have a clearance section which is usually filled with bargains and they seem to always have some kind of Buy One Get one at XX% off. The workers at this location make it a 5 star store, though. They didn't have it there, but the guy attending called a couple of other stores to see if they did. He was very sweet and went out of his way to help out. He found the item at two different malls and off we went to find it. The store doesn't have the full gambit of items that the other ones do, I don't know if it is because of Fashion Square Mall... very little traffic? Regardless, they have basic goods, t-shirts and great employees.

Thee staff greeted us immediately upon entering even though they were working with somebody at the register. It was very nice to be acknowledged. They had a variety of sale racks as well in the back with final markdowns clearly noted. This is always nice to see that they're not trying to hide anything that's outgoing. The fitting rooms were well-maintained and all of the clothes have been cleaned out of them. I didn't walk away with anything this time, however I love this chain and we'll be back to see what they have next time. I made a visit this past Wednesday for a product exchange of a dress that I had on hold. There were…read more2 ladies working there one was behind the counter and the other was actively vacuuming the floors in the fitting room. Neither of them greeted me or acknowledged me. Though both of the ladies saw me and looked at me neither spoke. This visit was very much a 360 degree difference from the warm welcoming that I received from the location in the Mall at Millenia. This was my very first time visiting this location and I probably won't be back because I expect better treatment in luxury shopping settings. I had them holding a tank dress for me in my preferred size and they were kind enough to hold it for 2 days because the first day I was unable to make it due to inclement weather, so appreciated that. It wasn't until I stood in line that someone spoke to me mind you I browsed the clearance section for quite a few minutes even stood next to lady who was once vacuuming and still nothing however she was the same person who completed my exchange and they were not busy at all.

Despite being actual matching pieces (same color, texture, pattern,etc). My recommendation: feature a few outfits or key items somewhere in the store that credits can be used for. I recently moved from an area that didn't have any Fabletics stores and I've been so excited to be able to walk into a store and leave with an outfit. This particular Hot Topic is in the Waterford Lakes Town Center on Alafaya Trail. Parking was not an issue (but like most malls, it can be a bit crazy just before Christmas). Hot Topic is a great store to shop gifts for those teenagers and young adults who embrace rebellion and disenfranchisement. The service here was friendly enough and it kind of found myself awash in memories of my younger years and Hot Topic visits. When I was here on this early evening, they had a sale going on, so you could find some good deals. If you are a fan of Hot Topic, this is a good location. Go check it out for yourself.

This is not for this specific store location, but for the online ordering of a gift card. I…read moreordered a gift card for my son on 11/24/20, and my credit card was charged the same day. A week later I had still not received an email with the gift card information, so I called the third-party provider (Buyatab). They told me I would have the email the next day. Next day, no email. I called them again; was told again that I would receive the email the next day. No email. I tried to call Penguin online support, but there is no call center any more. I sent an email through their site but still have not heard from them (today is 12/07/20). I did find a phone number for one of their stores, so called on 12/01/20. The manager for that location tried to be helpful but if she actually contacted 'corporate' they ignored her and I never heard anything from either her or 'corporate.' I am extremely disappointed in the lack of service from all sides here. My son likes this brand, so wanted to give him a gift certificate but unless I physically go to one of their stores to purchase this will not happen. I have disputed the charge on my credit card and am waiting for that result. They wasted no time taking my money but I received nothing for it. I certainly do not recommend shopping online with this company.
