After hiking a couple of small hikes in Bryce Canyon earlier this evening, tearing up some pizza just seemed to be the next best thing to wrap up the night. Eating at Bryce Canyon was a crazy only because the wait time for a few of places we were looking at were too long (30 minute wait) and they were overpriced. We headed to Panguitch and thanks to Yelp, we found this little gem. Located next to a gas station, but not inside of it. My party if 5 walked in and saw a bunch of folks standing around and it didn't look like there were much room for us, but the server greeted us right away and sat us in the back. Guess everyone was taking theirs to go. As busy as it was, our server checked on us often to make sure we were happy. Not sure if we were super hungry because this pizza was really good and hot the spot. We wanted to try a little bit of their menu so we selected 2 large pizzas and split them both with toppings: BBQ chicken, vegetarian, c stop combo, and their Hawaiian. I didn't care for the BBQ chicken as it tasted a little dry and the BBQ sauce was really sweet. The family liked it though, I'm just not big into BBQ sauce or chicken on my pizza. I didn't try the vegetarian because I need meat on my pizzas. AND we have a vegetarian in our group so I didn't want to eat his portion. The combo was delicious. Lots of toppings and goes great with ranch! But everything goes great with ranch! The Hawaiian is good too! The dough and marinara sauce are SUPER yummy and the cheese is pretty darn good as well. We came back for seconds while staying in Bryce. The place is cute and the food is good. Unfortunately I had a bit of an unpleasant experience with the cashier upon my entrance. From the beginning she was rude but I shrugged it off, after waiting a bit for my food i asked if they knew about how much longer (with no rush) and she rudely said no and gave no further explanation. Behind her I saw an order with our name and kindly asked if it was ours knowing it had been sitting there for a couple minutes and she then confirmed it was. Garlic Twists were the best part of the meal, lots of butter, and 6.3/10 marinara sauce. The pizza was very artisan. Just not very fresh. Meat was dry, pineapple somehow became a raisin version of itself. The service, or the lack thereof, mediocre at best. Waitstaff never came, and when we went to pay, many staff saw us, and walked away to a mystery backroom. I understand that Panguitch is a small town. As a business in a small town I would expect it to have been better staffed and better prepared for a rodeo and a road bike event. Our young waiter was overwhelmed but tried to do his best. It's not his fault the kitchen can't keep up. Orders were wrong or forgotten and food took over an hour to receive. I am a truck driver and am thankful I can at least still park at the closed truckstop next to this place. I've been here twice. Once in '18 and then this morning. I'll tell ya this is some of the best pizza I've had in my life. Which is surprising in such a small crappy town in the middle of nowhere southern Utah. While traveling in Bryce Canyon area we were all famished from hiking and went into Panguitch for fuel for the vehicle and saw the pizza place and decided to stop. It was busy which was to be expected for a Friday evening but we all ordered different things. The funny thing was everything came out not at the same time but the food..was all well above average, especially for a small town pizza place! (For me most small town pizza joints are barely average at best but this place was exceptional) At our table we had a custom chicken bacon ranch pizza, an off the menu Mediterranean pizza, spaghetti and meat balls, and a Tuscan salad with bread sticks. They were all sampled by everyone and they were all so very good! There pretty much was nothing left and the food was surprisingly excellent! And as a side note, whoever made the custom tables and benches, they totally rock!! So go for the fun decor, stay for the delicious food and relax after a long drive or hike and enjoy Update 11 months later! If I could add a star I would! My daughter had been dying to come back and so we did for Labor Day weekend. I had the Mediterranean again, it was all that I remembered! My daughter had the custom chicken bacon ranch again, and again there is nothing left. I love pizza, and I have to say that for me, this place continues to rank as one of my top pizza places. This place serves the BEST homemade artisan pizza we have ever tried. Why? They make their crust very thin and load it with lots of cheese. We ordered their Meat Lovers pizza and it was delicious! Lots of toppings and cheese. The crust was cooked just right (not too soft and not too crispy and burnt). It did not taste doughy like most pizza places. The pepperoni slices were thin along with flavourful bacon, Italian sausage, and ground beef. They made it very quickly -- in 15 minutes for those of you in a rush! We ordered a medium pizza for the 2 of us and we were quite full. We had no complains ad only positive things to say about this place. DON'T eat here if you're a trucker!!! So my husband stopped here to eat on his 30 minute break. First of all the lady at the counter had a chip on her shoulder as soon as he walked in she was really rude! They kept starting and kept giving dirty looks at him. He waited 30 MINUTES for his food when other people who came in after him were already eating. He finally got upset and asked for his money back after waiting 30 minutes. They gave him a hard time to get his money back when he asked for it but eventually gave in. It's obvious that this place only caters to locals and they hate outsiders! Great local pizza joint! We called on our way back from a hike and ordered pizza to go. It only took about 20 minutes to be ready. We had a medium Mediterranean pizza and I would HIGHLY recommend getting this one. Chicken, artichokes, garlic, bacon, basil, feta, and tomatoes- how could you go wrong?! I loved the hand tossed crust and it fed 2 of us. We also had the mozzarella sticks. They were good but $6.29 seems like a little much for the 6 we got but they were nice and hot. My family and i had a Fantastic and wonderful experience at C stop Pizza while visiting Utah from San Diego. We arrived at our rental late at night and were hungry (13 of us ). Our rental was far from everything and no where to eat nearby. We found c stop on google and drove 36 miles to get there. What a pleasant surprise to find a real Italian restaurant in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. The service and attention by the friendly staff was better than most any other business anywhere.
