Max asked me to send him a photo, which I did, and said he would call the manufacturer and get back to me. To my sheer delight, I received an email from Max stating the new glass is being sent today. Wow! What fantastic customer service. It isn't often this kind of service is extended to the customer after so many months and I GREATLY appreciate it! They put the responsibility on you to check each and every part of the box; they expect you take everything out from the packaging and inspect. And if you don't, well you're just unlucky if you find anything missing or damaged as you start to install the light at home. This is what happened to me -- 2 of the 6 glass enclosures were damaged (which you can't see unless you open each individual styrofoam box, remove the enclosure from the box, remove the plastic and inspect like you're buying a diamond). So, when i found 2 of these broken and called to discuss a replacement with the shop, these people wouldn't just listen! And how do you feel when after 5 minutes on the phone they tell you that "I don't have time for this..". Thankfully, the manufacturer's staff was kind enough to order a free replacement, and were shocked to hear that they have retailers like these selling and representing their brand. So, yeah, never buying again from these guys.
