The place has good selection of lumbar and they can order if necessary and deliver them really fast. I worked with Chris and he is really nice! I ordered lot of items for some good amount. However, the contractor, who I let go for being sloppy, didn't advise properly on one expensive item and I had to return it, still in original condition and packaged. I was hit with a 25% restocking fee. The problem is 1) There was no mention of restocking fee when I purchased. They should make the customers aware of this when its so hefty! 2) When I was obviously upset about the restocking fee and mentioned I need to think about ordering in future from this store, while Chris was sensible and apologetic and mentioned it was the manufacturer who enforces the fee, there was this other guy who immediately started talking nasty, saying this like "we cannot eat the cost because of your mistake" and "don't think you understand" etc. The guy probably doesn't know how to talk to and be sensitive when dealing with home owners. While it sure is a good lumbar place, they need to learn how to be upfront about the fees involved and how to behave with customers, who are not pros and contractors.

As a customer, I expect to be treated with dignity and respect and not yelled at, patronized, or belittled. How I was treated is not the way to conduct business and retain/add customers!

The cedar chest had a horrible mothball smell inside it that we couldn't get rid of, and just generally needed to be tightened up and restored. We weren't able to keep anything in it because the smell was so strong. They sealed the smell and generally fixed up other small problems with it. Now it's a great piece that we'll never get rid of! The wooden chairs badly needed to be painted and just generally repaired. They look beautiful now. The prices were reasonable for the quality of work done, and less than other quotes we got. The staff is responsive and helpful. If we needed anything else done, we'd definitely give them a call!

Requiring a 75% deposit on materials and labor before you order is unacceptable. If it was just 75% of materials I am good with that. You want a deposit on the labor as well before you even order the goods. Then you take my credit card information and deny the order! You tell me you can't get paid at the end of a job.
