He would not answer questions, not even a grunt of acknowledgement that I asked a question. Additionally, he went into closed cabinets for which he would have no reason and without first asking if it was ok. Had my husband been here, I have no doubt his behavior would've been very different. I put a complaint in to American Water Resorces regarding this behavior. They are banning this company from returning to my home and have reassigned another company.

Scheduled an appointment and never showed up!!…read more My wife and I bought a new house, and we wanted an electrician to come and check the outlets and get some quotes on adding outlets, etc. I called the number and set up an appointment. He said that since it was such a small visit, he would do it in the morning or afternoon. Since we had other contractors coming in the morning, we chose 3:30. 3:30 came and went, with no call from them. I called them at 4:00 to ask where they were, but it went to voicemail and I left a message. Since we had to drive up to MA, I called and left another voicemail at 4:15 saying we would need to reschedule, since it was clear he wasn't showing up. It's been a week later, and have not heard form him at all. At least give me a courtesy of calling to cancel!

(and only when he encountered problems that could not have been forseen) He is prompt, professional, courteous, and extremely neat. He has done everything from small jobs to very large ones for us. He has never used a subcontractor. We would not use anyone else. When Superstorm Sandy hit, our neighborhood was greatly impacted. We had a tree fall taking all the electric and cable wires with it as well as the transformer and pulling the meter from our house. Ron was here before we even called. He made sure there were not any live wires around us and that we were safe. He replaced the meter and ran the line to the top of our house so that as soon as public service replaced the pole, etc. we would be ready for hookup. Indeed, we were among the first to have electric restored as others, not as lucky as us, were trying to get an electrician. Another time we lost power to half the house (due to a squirrel) on a weekend. More specifically on a Saturday night. We called Ron and he stopped on his way out to dinner with his date and fixed our problem. I do not doubt that you had difficulties but do think you may have the wrong R J Electric. Our Ron is not a complainer.
