Our treble in the front which I will probably not pick next time. In short and the tall table is the most comfortable with my sorry legs. The tank is a little small for the plates and presentation of food. The food is great! The combos are arranged beautifully on lovely platting. We loved it all! I especially loved the bread and bake goods, so fresh and yummy. We've gone back just for bakery goods and the bread!!!!! Check this out ....

More Than a Meal: A Place of Warmth, Belonging, and Heart at Kozak Langley…read more Some restaurants serve food. Others create an experience. And then there are places--rare, quietly extraordinary places--that make you feel held. Kozak Ukrainian Restaurant is unequivocally one of those places. From the moment you step through the door, something shifts. The atmosphere is gentle, calm, and welcoming in a way that immediately puts your shoulders down and your breath at ease. There is no rush, no judgment, no performative friendliness--just genuine warmth. As an LGBTQ2S+ person, that feeling matters more than I can adequately express. At Kozak Langley, inclusivity is not a slogan or a checkbox; it is lived. You are treated with dignity, kindness, and respect simply for being who you are. You don't have to brace yourself here. You can just be. The heart of this experience lies with the people. Lilly, our server, moved through the evening with a grace that felt almost poetic. Her attentiveness was intuitive rather than intrusive--she seemed to feel the rhythm of the table, knowing exactly when to check in and when to let a moment linger. Her recommendations felt personal, thoughtful, and deeply informed, offered with warmth and sincerity. She didn't just serve us; she guided the experience. Darbi, in customer service, brought a grounding presence that made everything feel thoughtfully held together. There was a quiet confidence in the way she ensured that every detail was accounted for, every guest seen. Her warmth was steady and reassuring, the kind that makes you feel safe without ever needing to announce itself. Keely added a softness that lived in the small moments--the gentle smile, the calm check-in, the ease that made the entire space feel lighter. Her care was subtle but deeply felt, a reminder that hospitality at its best is profoundly human. And then there is Alex, the manager, whose kindness sets the emotional tone for the entire restaurant. His leadership is calm, sincere, and deeply respectful. You can feel the culture he has built the moment you walk in: a team that feels supported, confident, and genuinely happy to be there. That care flows outward, shaping every interaction and creating an environment rooted in belonging rather than hierarchy. Truly, every single staff member we encountered was exceptional. I wish I could name them all, because each person contributes to something special--a space where hospitality feels like community, where inclusivity is practiced quietly and consistently, and where guests are treated as people, not transactions. Helpful Tips for Future Diners * Give yourself time. Kozak Langley is best enjoyed slowly. This is not a place to rush through a meal--it's a place to linger, talk, and savor both the food and the atmosphere. * Ask for recommendations. The staff know the menu deeply and genuinely want to help you find something you'll love. Their guidance is thoughtful and personal. * Share your needs. Whether dietary, accessibility-related, or simply a preference for a quieter spot, the team is incredibly accommodating when they know how to support you. * LGBTQ2S+ diners: you are safe here. This is a space of real affirmation and respect. You can relax and enjoy your time without hesitation. * Come with people you love--or come solo. It's perfect for meaningful conversations, celebrations, or a quiet meal where you don't want to feel invisible. * Return the kindness. The warmth here is real, and a smile or a kind word goes a long way with a team that gives so much of themselves. Kozak Langley is not just a restaurant--it is a refuge. A place where food nourishes the body, and kindness nourishes the spirit. We didn't just leave satisfied; we left lighter, calmer, and deeply grateful. This is the kind of place you return to not only for the food, but for the feeling--and that is something truly special.
