The pretzel honestly tasted like a white bun out of the package that you'd buy at the store for hamburgers. They didn't upkeep the condiments stations, they were messy. By the 3rd quarter, they ran out of napkins and the only condiments available were ketchup and mustard. We did buy merchandise at the gift shop. Shirts ran around $30-$40, as expected for a sport team venue. I appreciated the many stalls available in the bathrooms, which were kept clean. We plan on returning for more games.

Either way, my experience here was awful and I'm not looking to coming back any time soon. I attended kids day with my godson and granted there was a lot of kids however it seemed like the issue was behind the counter. After waiting more than 15 minutes in line, I finally place my order - nachos, pretzel and candy - pay for my order to be told that they are out of pretzels although there is one is the case. I was told that someone had paid for that one already and they would need to refund my money. Then as I'm waiting for my nachos, I'm told that they are out of cheese so they would need to refund my money for that as well. Then I was told that I could go to the other concession stand and see if they had the items. I make my way down to the other concession stand and they inform me that they do have the items however at the other location they poured cheese all over the chips and gave a cup of cheese with the pretzel (I was told that would be an extra dollar - apparently we all aren't selling the same way). When I make it back to my seat, the pretzel is cold and hard. They was nothing that could be done to even make it good (I tried dipping it in the nacho cheese). The nachos chips were cold, salty and just not good. I tried to get the kiddo to eat it but he turned up his nose at it. I tried to eat a few as I had a hard time with wasting my money, however I just couldn't do it and ended up wasting them. Should we EVER come back for another event, we will eat before or after, no money will be wasted at the concession stand.

Evers Park is basically a 30 Acre Baseball park that is run by the City of Denton. But make no mistake, the main thing happening here is baseball! There is a very large parking lot, but when all the diamonds are being used, you will likely have to park at the elementary school that adjoins the park. I drove around for about 10 minutes before I gave up and parked there and walked. It is not a horrible walk as long as you are able to walk a 5 minute distance.

The man who gave us the clippers and vase couldn't keep his eyes off my chest and offered to help me trim my roses and carry the vase for me the whole time... no thanks. The experience we had picking the roses was fun. After we paid I asked for a bag of some sort of wrapping to take them home in instead of the glass vase. My daughter is in the second semester of her freshman year. This past fall, she was majoring in…read moreChemistry. She had trouble with at least two of the professors. One was very derogatory toward females. Daughter had her male friend ask questions for her in class because she felt belittled. Same teacher failed to report grades all semester. He would not release them on request, either. Many of the students failed or made low grades because they could not get an average to work from. The chemistry guidance counselor was not helpful. He said that teacher is just like that. He refused to allow her access to register herself. He refused to allow her to chose her own classes. The Horizons professor did not accept students choices of study if it was something she didn't like. The Chemistry dept would not allow her to chose her own classes and told her she could not take more than allotted hours because she would have nothing to take in the future. She wants to go summers, but the dept refuses to take transfers from UNT. They have very few professors in the dept and the quality is lacking. They do not want the students getting the classes at other universities so they refuse to accept them. She was told Summer courses are difficult to get into and that she would NOT be allowed to get ahead...not sure why. The counselor tried multiple times to get her to change over to biochemistry. She did not want that. So, I don't know if they are trying to get rid of the regular chem program, or not. So, she changed majors and now TWU doesn't want to allow financial aid to pay for the courses saying it doesn't go toward her degree. But they do, per the new counselor who is very helpful. They are very disorganized and preventing my daughter from getting the education she needs. If they can't provide the courses for a degree program in an appropriate manner, they should shut it down. If they have a bad, female hating professor at a predominantly female university, then he should be gone. Isn't that the basis of predominantly female university, after all? Tenure should not matter in the case of discrimination. It is a nice, small campus and has a lot of potential if they straighten ot up. Also, the sophomores and upper classmen should have more than one choice for a dormitory that is new, more expensive yet still having maintenance and flooding issues. Extremely grateful for the new counselor in the new degree program. He was very helpful, kind, and actually guiding her. Thank you sir and I give you five stars. ***** Financial aid office could use a lot of improvements, nicer people and a better organization. Students shouldn't be getting their financial aid at the end of the semester for the previous semester. Multiple students have had this issue. I am disappointed that my daughter could not continue her journey in chemistry at TWU. Her plan was for a PhD. I hope this new program works and she continues to grow. She almost transferred to another university... Who wants to deal with all that as a first time college student? Do you want everyone to drop out? Get it together TWU!

I need to start this review by saying Trinity Presbyterian Church (TPC) of Denton, Texas, is my…read morefamily church 1960s, when we Fearings moved here from Houston. We bought a house a very short distance away, on Roberts St., and often walked across a bramble + blackberry field a couple of blocks away. I grew up in the church and have watched it morph over time, seeing families come, grow older and unfortunately die or move on to greener pastures, learning so much from each member along the way. I've always been impressed by this church's music, Christian education, and enriching summer school (Vacation Bible School) programs. The current pastor, Rev. Dr. Craig Hunter cannot be beat: he has overseas experience in Israel and Europe, and is passionately committed to the local Community, bringing in ties from African American and Muslim churches in our community and forging ties with First Presbyterian, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and First Methodist Churches. The Music is phenomenal each Sunday and it has been my privilege to enjoy the great talent we have performing each Sunday under the esteemed direction of the Dr. Lenora McCrosky.
