Mike's wasn't the lowest bid, but it was the only one without contingencies, and the only one which stated up front that his crew would remove the old tile floor, repair any underlying issues with the subfloor, and level it before installing the new luxury vinyl planks. Plus we felt comfortable after meeting him about the plan and the quality of the materials/work. It took about two weeks after signing up to get the planks ordered/delivered, and then set a time to do the installation. A two-man crew showed up around 8:30 a.m., gave me some updates along the way to show what was happening (and ask some important questions I hadn't considered, like which way the new planks should run), and they finished installing the flooring and the quarterround by about 11:30 a.m. Everything looks great, and we are very happy.

I went in to pay the balance & asked for any carpet info in writing, I did not get it, but I did receive a bottle of carpet cleaner for this type of carpet. Travis stated if there were any installation problems in the year to call them. As a long-time established family local business I shall rely on his word.
