A Lee Roofing - J Lee Construction - installed a new roof for us about a year ago in 2025…read more Recently we had some torrential rains and noticed a leak in the roof vent above our kitchen stovetop. I called Austin Lee and he came out the next morning. He got on the roof and checked everything. He could not find the leak but pulled up the shingle and replaced the gooseneck vent and resealed the flashing and shingles at no cost to me. This fixed the problem. About a month later when we had more downpours, he reached out to me proactively to be sure we weren't having any more problems. That kind of customer service and standing behind your work is what sets this company apart. I could not be happier with their work and service. Great work at a very fair price. Recommend them highly!

We paid the contractor more than what we owed them for the work performed. We never signed any…read morecontractual agreement with them but did get a cost estimate with no timeline at the onset for a series of individual projects we needed done for our property that totaled $18,050. Although communication was spotty on their side throughout, we continued to work with them and appreciated the quality of work performed by their direct staff and sub-contractors. Although we didn't get an invoice initially, we asked for one and paid $9,225 of the project (60%) once they sent us an invoice. Once most of the work was done (the only remaining, open item was for installing a shower valve for our outdoor shower listed at $1,500 on our cost estimate), they asked for us to pay the remainder. We did not feel comfortable paying them for 100% of the project before the remaining work was done. It was also not a contractural obligation. Instead, we paid them for all work completed when they asked for the remaining balance. When we didn't pay the $1,500, they claimed that the line item in the invoice they sent over for $1,500 was actually to cover them for "miscellaneous expenses" related to the project (they cited specifically that it was related to removing debris from the work site that they created from the job, and doing "extra work" to straighten our fence, but the invoice stated the $500 was to "straighten back fence, dig around existing 4x4s and place concrete to straighten existing fence"). No assumptions were listed in the estimate or invoice that would suggest we would be charged more. When we refused to pay the $1,500, the owner threatened to sue us and called my partner "a drunk". My partner wrote them out a check to avoid a legal battle, but we feel they charged us $1,500 extra for the project than what we owed them and did not fulfill their obligation to install the shower valve even though we paid for it.

We were kept informed about the status and our cabinets arrived and were installed promptly. The shop customized our oven cabinet so that our new oven fit like a glove, plus they made a custom wine rack since the manufacturer of our cabinets didn't make one in the configuration we wanted. We shopped around a lot before going with Smokey Mountain and we're thrilled we did. Our kitchen looks like a million bucks, even without the countertops or backsplash! We had Smokey Mountain do our laundry and master bathroom cabinets at the same time. Fabulous!

AW Custom Kitchens recently installed cabinets through out our condo. They assembled quality…read morecabinets on site which resulted in precision work. No kitchen is perfectly square which can result in odd gaps when installing pre fabricated cabinets. A first design assumed (based on another contractor's judgement) that a wall was not load bearing and could be removed. The entire design had to be reworked when it was discovered during demolition that the wall was indeed load bearing. Alan reworked the design very quickly and kept the cabinet order on schedule even though the design was dramatically different and actually incorporated a small laundry room which we are thrilled about. The design involved wrapping a beverage center around a corner which was executed perfectly. We are looking forward to using our new kitchen.
