White wine paired a delicious meat and cheese board.

The ambiance of the restaurant is amazing. The historic redwood-lined walls create an intimate atmosphere. The wine selection is thoughtfully curated, featuring a deep bench of Italian varietals. The staff clearly know their bottles, offering pairings that elevate each dish. The staff is literally family. Fathers/mothers, uncles/aunts, sons/nephews and daughters/nieces are who works the wine bar. They deeply care about their customers and treat them like family. Whether you're settling in for a romantic date, catching up with friends, or enjoying a solo glass at the bar, this spot delivers an experience that feels both timeless and deeply satisfying. It's the kind of place you leave already planning your return.

I love the ricotta honey toast! A great snack while sipping on the white wine. The server provided great recs to my preferred taste. Great cozy small and not many people and even better when the music is not loud.

Love this spot!! I can't comment much on the wine bc I'm not well versed but I think the prices are super reasonable, charcuterie very delicious, and it's usually not crowded so you can hear people talk. The honey ricotta toast is SO delicious and only $9 I think for 4 pretty large pieces to share.

A family run business for generations and 10 decades. It started out very slowly, but the best prosciutto I've ever had in my life great wines by the glass and incredibly reasonable they have a supermarket next-door that has been around also for 100 years.. The prosciutto was so good. We ordered it again with some more cheese, and the Burrata was delicious with the roasted peppers. Also, the eggplant Cristini was delicious. Very limited menu so don't expect to have a major dinner there. Sam, the son, Luigi and Sal the brothers really know their food will definitely come back.

Came here thinking it's a restaurant. But it's mainly a wine bar. But surprisingly the food they did have here was very good. The paninis are done well. The caprese is one of the best ones around here. Fresh tomatoes and mozzarella with little oil and balsamic with a hint of pesto makes a very well combination with the flavors. The burrata was very good. With their pickled peppers giving it a kick. Their side break was crispy edges and soft inside and the olive oil they use if good. The fresh ricotta with honey was not bad. A little bit too sweet for me. But it was still good. Good place to drop by for a light bite. Highly recommend the paninis and the salads. Haven't tried their drink menu yet.

Inviting, Warm, dim, romantic lighting at this little Italy wine bar. The doors opened promptly at 6:30, they do not take reservations. We were lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. The service was a little slow but I am not complaining. It gave us time to take it all in and look over the menu. The red wine suggested by the bartender was spot on for how I described my taste buds would like so if you are not sure which Italian wine to order just ask for a recommendation. The balsamic old fashioned was a nice twist on a regular old fashioned. The food is more appetizers/shareables but the paninis would be filling if you went with that for a main meal. We shared the house made mozzarella with tomato and pesto(the pesto and olive oil were so good, we also had the eggplant caponata and a hard cheese that came with breadsticks and honey. I recommend trying a few things, you can see your food being prepared and the Italian meats are sliced to order. We look forward to going back again soon.

Came in looking for a good Italian place and wow, this is the one! Luigi was very knowledgeable about everything. Prosciutto and cheese table was exquisite, burrata just how I like it. Wine was delicious. I've been recommending this place to all my friends.

I cannot even find the right words to express how much I love this place and how much I appreciate the family running it. First of all, the interior is clean and beautiful! The staffs are welcoming. The ambiance is classy and the dim light makes it romantic but it's also a great place to hang out with your friends or families. I came here with my sister twice and by myself once. Was never bothered and never felt like I was rushed to leave. C Di Palo is an excellent spot for groups or a 1 on 1 hangout. Their food and wine are imported from Italy. Even the honey they serve to drizzle over your cheese is imported from Italy. I get to have a taste of authentic Italian wine & food without having to fly oversea. That alone should make the prices sky high. But it isn't. The prices are actually better than your local American cheese bar, which blows my mind. The Burratina is out of this world. I highly recommend it. The fresh handmade mozzarella served with tomato and basil is also spectacular. Get it. I've had the formaggio e salumi, which is a selection of cheese and ham, several times and still dream about it. I've tried charcuterie boards at other cheese bars, it doesn't even compare. If you want hot food, they have a variety of paninis. I had the Tirol which consisted of speck (smoked prosciutto), arugula, and melted cow cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. They even have hot tea here! For dessert, they have black Cherry with sweet ricotta. I genuinely love a sweet cheese as a dessert! I find it very creative. My favorite wine is Montefalco Sagrantino Passito 2009, Tabarrini, which you can get it here, you probably just need to pre-order it. The family who runs this business is amazing and I'm so grateful for their hard work (even though they don't feel like it's work because they love what they do). They are passionate and they put their heart into what they do. They treat their customers like guests. They don't make you feel like you need to either keep ordering or leave so the next customer could have your table. They're also very giving and generous. I usually don't write about complimentary food because I don't want every customer to expect it but I've seen them give complimentary food to almost every customer. Dear Di Palo family - Thank you for bringing authentic Italian wine and food to New York, serving us, and educating us! I couldn't be more thankful. P.S. Their candles are real, not electric!

C Di Palo is a hidden gem, that's family owned and operated. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the environment makes you feel welcomed. We already had dinner, but we wanted to explore a few things on the menu. We ordered a few different things: green olives, fresh ricotta with honey, fresh mozzarella and prosciutto wrapped together (not on the menu) and burratina. The burratina was exceptional! It was really the best tasting dish I've had in a while. It was served with fresh burrata, freshly marinated red peppers, fresh tomatoes, fresh arugula, freshly sliced prosciutto and a few drizzles of balsamic glaze. We had a wonderful time at C Di Palo.

I stopped by C Di Palo last night for a glass of wine - and was surprised by how homey it felt. They have a great selection of wines at reasonable prices. They have a great menu filled with a lot of shareable bites. I also love that you can build your own charcuterie board. Will definitely be back!

Found this gem walking by. Great food friendly staff. Highly recommended! The staff is so informative and attentive. They provide exceptional recommendations on wine pairings with the meat and/or cheese.

The wine and charcuterie samples are phenomenal. I got the honey ricotta toast (not pictured) which was made with their home made ricotta and it was the best ricotta I've tasted. My sister and I went to this gem before our dinner resy and I wish I had stayed to try out the other food items. Will definitely be back

C. Di Palo is my to go wine bar for good cheese and meat. I love their cozy yet stylish décor. Their cheese and meat board selection is phenomenal. Lou, the owner, and Rene always make sure we are well taken care of. I can tell they are super passionate about their business and are honest when it comes to their recommendations. Will definitely recommend for a date night or with friends!

The vibe drew us in, they had great music bumpin from the outside, it looked lively and welcoming. Let me tell you- I would have skipped dinner and just stayed here all evening if it was my choice! But alas, my husband wanted a bit more to eat. But let me tell you- their knowledge of wine is PRISTINE! I can't tell you what white wine we had but they captured our tastes perfectly. We also shared a bruschetta and it was deliciouso! I love how friendly the staff was here and how unpretentious it all was. First I'll start with the wine - we ended up trying all three happy hour wines (HH until 7), which the tables favorites were the white and we ended up getting a bottle to split once HH ended (but I really enjoyed the other vino verde option). It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

Starting with the positives -the banchan was solid across the board and really flavorful. That said, charging for banchan feels strange to me. Traditionally, it's complimentary, like bread at an Italian restaurant so that part didn't sit right but it was flavorful. The chigae was interesting and probably the standout dish. It had a unique flavor that reminded me of a mix between soondubu and dwenjang chigae which worked well. Unfortunately, the rest was a miss. The bossam was overly salty and didn't feel true to the dish. The tteokbokki was another disappointment -it came with cheese (which wasn't expected) and just fell flat overall. For the hype, I expected much more especially because I've eaten Korean food my whole life. The venue is small and the seats in the back are uncomfortable.

First off, the front door is mounted on flimsy plastic hinges, so every time someone opens it, it swings open violently and knocks the vase off the nearby table. The service was somehow even worse. When I was there on Tuesday, May 19th from 8-10 PM, there was exactly ONE bartender working the entire place -- both inside and outside -- and she was unbelievably inattentive. My date and I sat at the bar for TWENTY MINUTES before she even acknowledged us or asked if we wanted drinks. I literally had to call out "Excuse me" just to order a $25 quarter-filled glass of wine. Embarrassing all around. And when we were ready to leave and wanted the check, the female bartender working on Tuesday May 19th from 8-10 PM was busy standing in the corner chatting with someone instead of helping customers. I haven't seen someone move this slowly or care this little since the DMV. TO MANAGEMENT - this was absolutely horrible, embarrassing, and unprofessional service.
