And yes, with every older, used car, there are bound to have some minor issues associated with a used car. But, the vin numbers matched, relatively clean, no squeaky brakes but an issue with shifting into 1st gear. Ok. Alright. So we bought the car. FOUR [4] days later in our first "major" drive from Cheney to Northside Costco, at Hawthorne/Newport Hwy, whilst making a left turn, car dies. We called PAS and spoke with the sales associate and let him know the situation and to see if they could help us in fixing this "new" problem. We called during business hours just after we had this incident, had to leave a message. PAS called back on Monday, told us to call back once we had the car towed to a mechanic [AMG AUTO] and knew what was wrong with our Subaru and to let them know. On 27 June, the owner of PAS called me and wanted to know what we [my wife and I and PAS] corps so to resolve this issue. PAS owner tried to placate me by seemingly offering assurances that some solution would be worked out. Once we found out that the problem was a bad timing belt, bent rods as well as a shot clutch [which seemed to be previously "repaired" but the fly- wheel had gouge marks) we informed PAS of the problem. Then the backtracking, unresponsivness, and the deflecting of responsibility. The ONLY help was a +/- $400 check out of the $4000 of the cost of the car and the $3800 for total cost repairs. We have made EVERY attempt to ask for a qreasonable and equitable solution

The driver showed up with a trainee, the driver had only been on the job for 1 week and yet he was…read moretraining someone. The driver hooked up a chain around my driveshaft and proceeded to pull the truck onto the flatbed. After the trainee mentioned it, I took pictures of a chain wrapped around the driveshaft, not J-hooks but a chain wrapped around the driveshaft and attempting to pull it onto the flatbed. Once the chain was bound up on the driveshaft and wouldn't move further, he had to let it back down and unbind the chain. Then the driver decided that he was going to load my truck onto the flatbed the other direction. The driver, Corey, said that he felt sick that the chain got bound up and and that if there was damage done, it was his fault and he was very sorry for it. Corey also said this same statement in front of my wife, at which time he gave me his personal phone number and told me to call him and let him know what damage there was. Now, Lilac City Towing is saying that they didn't do any damage and that they are sorry that I am having these problems with my truck. Out of all the times that I have needed a tow truck with my other vehicles, I have NEVER had a tow truck driver give me his personal phone number and tell me to call him and let him know what damage was done. Corey knew that he messed up and his supervisor obviously told him to deny everything because when he called me, his story was different and he said that they didn't do any damage. I wish I could post pictures and steer people away from this company. We will see what the attorney has to say as well as my insurance company, they can go after them for the damages and watch them try to deny it with pictures.
