If their website had availability of items in their individual locations, like Lee Valley does, that would help. I have way better luck calling the Guilford location. Usually on the first attempt. They put items aside for me, too. I will never shop at the Metropolis location again. Whoever manages the location should do something about it. People wonder why amazon and on-line businesses are so popular. Well, these small local businesses have to get their act together. Honestly, how hard is it to answer the phone? BTW, record stores like Red Cat Records in Vancouver along with all the other independents do a great job. What I was looking for was not in stock at the indie shops. Sunrise website shows item in stock on-line, but suggest calling local stores to see................. well, yeah, if they ever answer their phones. And, the Coquitlam Centre store never answers their phone, either. Kudos to the managerial staff at Guilford. So, 5 stars for them.

But if you've made it this far, let me tell you about the magical and prehistoric collector's items available at John's Jukes. First and foremost are the Jukeboxes, old delightful automated DJ machines that take everything from loonies to nickels. One of the Jukeboxes is fashioned to look like the back of a hot pink convertible, perfect for making your living room look like Pop Tate's Soda Shop in Archie Comics. Most of the other ones can be summed up by referencing the opening montage for Happy Days. There is also a wide variety of pinball machines, with every co-opted franchise from Star Wars to Kiss, and a few video game consoles that have been manhandled by fastidious fingers for over 40 years. But it's a high price to pay for nostalgia, with items ranging from several hundred dollars to several thousand. If you do miss Frogger that much though, it's the right place to go, just make sure that you have a truck nearby so you don't have to maneuver the console through traffic.

It probably took 10-15 minutes to track down a copy but not once did she act like it was a waste of time. When I went to pay, the woman at register even asked if we were able to find the book. This originally is the Ages 3+ store located in Metro Town. This store is truly run by geeks for geeks! Catching up on your comics? Trying to find missing copies of your comic? This is the place to find it! It is a nice sizable store as well because it has all the comics that a geek needs. It has figurines, and vinyl toys as well! They have a decent collection of Magic Cards, and Yugioh Cards as well for those Table Top geeks! They also have a bunch of D&D products and a large selection of board games. They have tables and chairs for geeks to sit and chill and play a game after purchasing the product. Or to read a comic! The store is literally a place to hang and chill! I wish they had more local events catering to the geeks, but they are increasing as a community which is very appealing! I come here to hang out when I have the time and to grab my comics!

I came upon Wall Mount Tronics and was impressed by their website and the number of 5 star reviews. I gave them a call and spoke to Alberto who was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. I told him that I hadn't purchased a new TV yet and he advised that he could not only source one for me but was able to book me in for that Friday. When I decided on the model I wanted, I texted Alberto with the details and he got back to me immediately. Not only was he able to provide the model I requested, he offered me the next model up at a nominal price. Alberto showed up on time and performed the installation quickly and professionally. Once it was installed he showed me a few features and made sure everything was compatible with my current set up.  Alberto was respectful of my home and took care during the whole installation. Having my TV stop working was such an unexpected inconvenience but Alberto turned this whole experience into such a pleasant one. Look no further, you will not be disappointed with Wall Mount Tronics.
