I suppose that all good things eventually come to an end. I had rated this firm highly based on my prior 2 experiences. I incurred what appeared to be a 3rd rock chip on my windshield that turned out to be a failure of this firm's initial repair. I incurred a $35 trip charge, albeit discounted from their normal $85 charge, for their opinion that affirmed that their prior repair failed. The attached photo illustrates what the technician described as amateurish until reminded that they had performed that failed repair, albeit completed by another technician. No Bueno! read more

Excellent service from a knowledgeable tech. I called on Sunday at 12:50 and they were closing at 1 pm. However, they helped me determine the weird window in the back and that they had it in stock. They were able to arrive the next morning first thing. Not only, did he replace the window, he gave me great tips for the rest of my busted up Honda. this place is a freaking joke we made an appointment yesterday for 1 to 3pm today and they called me at 2pm saying they can not come out until 4pm. i told them my son needed to go back to Houston for school on Tuesday and if they can buy any chance make it sooner and the guy said he would call the technician and let me know. I never got a call back and only got an email saying we did not answer the call and they canceled my appointment. this place never called me a second time and lied to me when i did call them. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with their work. They installed a windshield for me. After the installation, my vehicle allowed air in while driving on the highway so the weatherstripping was not sealed correctly. I called them about my issue, they sent a technician and reinstalled the windshield. They claimed that they had installed the windshield correctly the first time and charged me an $85 dollar service charge the second time to fix my problem. Let me get his straight, they installed the windshield incorrectly the first time, and to repair their mistake they charged me an additional $85. There were no issues with the weatherstripping and air coming into the vehicle while I drove the vehicle until they installed the windshield. Beware of this company if they install your windshield incorrectly. They will charge you a service fee to come fix their error. read more

I don't know what happened with my plan to have this company replace my auto glass. They called me on the morning they were due to come and replace my windshield to say my insurance company wasn't offering enough money for the job after agreeing on the price and the job two days before. My complaint isn't really that they thought the insurance company wasn't going to recompense them enough, but that they didn't call back the adjusters to get the higher costs approved. Not until five hours later did I discover they seem to have just lost interest, the adjuster said they never heard from them, and eventually, I got them to approve the costs with a different company. The lack of communication in all this was really annoying, especially after I stayed home all day to wait for the glass to be replaced. read more

These people are so kind! I drove up to the Missouri and a rock graced my windshield with its presence and by the time we even pulled over for a possible Safelite repair, the chip had grown into a crack that ran almost the entire length of the windshield. I found C&H Auto through a simple google search of glass repair shops in Austin. The quote was competitive and beat out everyone, AND they came to my apartment to do it in my parking lot. Worth every penny and will definitely always call them (but hopefully not too soon, I'd like to live a crack-free life for a little while). The service took MAYBE an hour. I have a 2011 Toyota Corolla, so I'd expect a little longer for bigger cars. The gentleman who came was very nice and was awesome about cleaning up the mess afterwards (I've been to places like NTB where my interior was just destroyed with debris after the service). I had to get my windshield replaced last week. I called around after Safelite quote $350. Multiple companies in Round Rock and Austin quoted between $250 and $270 with taxes. (Prices will vary for different vehicles of course.) Most drive out to you for no additional charge. I ended up going with C&H Auto Glass in Round Rock and was very happy. I liked supporting a smaller local company, that also gave a lifetime warranty on the work.They were super friendly, professional, and fast. And I saved $100. read more

This place is an absolute joke. Don't let these clowns anywhere near your car. They still haven't completed the install. Did not install the rain sensor correctly and was told by the tech he would come back the next day and finish the rain sensor which was not installed correctly. Haven't heard from him since. I have called several times and have been blown off each time. and my request for a call back never happened. Finally talked to Claudia (she said she was the owner when I had previously talked w her). I finally got to talk to her 2 weeks after the first attempt to install She continually talked over me. She said They never installed my windshield Even though they admitted to special ordering my windshield and they had sent RJ to install it in a beat up pickup without any company logo except for a crudely hand painted "AJ Auto Glass " written on the truck and an out of town phone number. These are red flags but wanted to give them a chance so I allowed the work. Should have said no to thecwirk but the tech seemed nice enough. Bottom line glass was installed but he installed the rain sensor wrong. He promised to return the next day but never called or showed. I called the office several times and they said they would have the tech call or the person that could help was not there. I left my number each time and asked fir a call. Nothing! Finally got hold of Claudia who continually talked over me refusing to let me say my peace. She then said that they never installed my windshield and I somehow forced the tech to install my window. I even fed them and brought cold water out to the tech and his wife while there. Claudia essentially said it was my problem now and hung up. I was never given a reciept nor was one ever offered. In response to Hector: The tech agreed to install after talking to you Hector. After talking to Hector he started thecwork. He didn't complete the install as my rain sensor wasn't working. I told him he would get the balance upon completion He agreed to come back the next day. Never offered me a reciept just said he would be back And took my money. Never heard from him. This place will lie to their own ends. I still have the balance if you can complete the job you started What does the value of my car have to do w the quality of your work? Shouldn't even matter. This place is a joke. Unprofessional is an understatement Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Find a local shop that values quality and service. The way I see it is you screwed up a job and are lying to avoid fixing the problem Buyer beware Danger Will Robinson !! This place is the worst at customer service. Avoid it. If you value your vehicle don't let them touch it. Update: Drove the car on the highway the first time since the install. The left windshield trim blew off ( came back for it but it was ruined )It never seemed to sit as flush as I remembered after the install. Turns out the installer had put too much adhesive and it oozes out of the side preventing the trim piece to sit flat. I removed the opposite side trim and it was the same way there as well. If he had not tried to cut corners and just trimmed the excess glue before the trim was installed it would have been fine. So now I need to drop $132 from the dealer for this trim/molding and still need to find someone to fix the rain sensor. Of course these incompetent idiots refuse to take any responsibility for anything read more
