They're so honest about exactly what you need done, what you can skip that a dealer will try to sell you, and do it all at a reasonable price. Most recently, I brought in my daughter's Jeep Wrangler for an inspection before her Spring Break road trip. Besides noting it was due for brake and filter changes, Angel also noticed an oil leak. Rather than trying to gouge me for a diagnosis, he told me to take it to the dealer and have them diagnose it. Sure enough, it was a damaged oil pan that had to be replaced- under my warranty. Many shops would try to quote you a price and do it, but I appreciate it when these guys tell me to take the cars to the dealers when there's a big problem. They advised me that to get into the trans and change that, they should replace the whole transmission for a couple hundred more, otherwise they couldn't guarantee the work. And they charged $150 for this "diagnosis". They wanted thousands of dollars for a new transmission, and I was stuck because I couldn't take the emissions test to renew my plates with a check engine light on. Brought it to Tony's Transmissions, and he replaced the sensor in a few days for a few hundred dollars. I can't remember the exact amount because I paid cash and it was about a year ago, but I just saw his business pop up when I was doing a search and remembered that I should have left him a review back then. He really did great work. Check engine light was off, car passed emissions, and we drove it for another year before selling it a friend for his teenage son. Car is still running strong.
