I had to give one stat so I could publish a review. Came in a few minutes before my5 pm appointment and he said 45 min to an hr. I went to see if my car was lowered already at 5:44 and it hadn't even been brought in. Ok so I'm counting 4 people and only one car is up. The last person left about 20 min ago. I was told they were backed up. Well, if my car was going to take an hr to get started on tell me so that I'm not sitting around waiting. Another customer was questioning the work being done and it felt like another customer was being upsold. My spider sense was going bananas so I grabbed my keys and got the hell out of there. Bought my set of tires here for a good price, which have been holding up well so far. Multiple times have overheard issues with other customers while waiting in the store. Unable to tell which side might have been at fault. This time I had a tire rotation done, which was scheduled over the phone since their website doesn't has an option for it for some reason. Rotation and alignment check was performed faster than their estimated schedule, which I was pleased about. Justin was great assisting me. However my elderly early 2000s model Toyota had a TRAC OFF and Engine light when the car was returned to me. Which was not lit upon my arrival. Upon discussing the issues with Nick, the store manager, he offered that I pay for a technician review but otherwise stated the Engine light has nothing to do with their tire service. Which I agree with it shouldn't and understand his business positioning with his resource time and costs. Upon restarting the car a 3rd time the error did go away by itself. Further research when I got home shows that most likely that the lift of the vehicle and alignment check might have triggered this common error and that I may need to do a Zero Point Calibration to get properly resolved. So a word of caution if you have older vehicles, you may need to be the expert of them in the room.. :-) read more

Total con artists. Went there on the recommendation of a nearby tire store. Paid $600 for a front end alignment. They didn't do the alignment and tires were useless in two months. Family run business that depended on local county for work. Useless. read more

Purchased a set of uniroyal tires on Dec 16th. At that time, the webpage was showing a 100.00 manufacturer rebate for a set of new uniroyal tires, and also, they had a free installation promo on on Dec. 16 for their 12 days of Christmas sale. Basically now, I submitted my online rebate, and its not valid. I know for a fact they had the 100.00 rebate that day because I planned on purchasing the tires, and then the 12 days of christmas rebate for free installation on the 16th was icing on the cake. All the employees at the store were great, along with the install, but I think corporate needs to update, or monitor their website better. Obviously, their site was showing the discount when I did the purchase estimate, but it wasn't valid at that time, or already expired. Nothing on their site can be trusted, you have to pull up the actual rebate through the manufacturer to see when it is valid. Case in point, when I did my initial purchase on the 16th, there was no rebate code to enter for the free installation rebate. I called corporate and left a message. they called me back, the code they gave me didn't work... Called the store, and the manager called me back later in the day with a code that actually worked. read more

I had nail in a tire that was not even a year old and it was going along ok for a few weeks. Until yesterday. Since the tires were less than a year old I hated the idea of changing one tire. The dealership wanted $375, the advertised cheaper tire place wanted $275. The tires are on a car that I bought 11 months ago so buying one expensive tire when I know that I will be replacing all the tires in about 12 months was feeling a bit painful (I drive a LOT for work). On a whim I went to the Belle Tire website. Put in my vehicle info and viola they had my unusually sized tire in stock. Price out the door with it installed in under 30 minutes? $145 wth lifetime rotation on the tire. I left a super happy customer and will be back with my wife's car. The bonus value - the young man who assisted me upon arrival was friendly and genuinely engaged in helping me. How could I tell this? He said Hello and made a light quip when I said I was "having a day". When I told him that I had a nail in the tire and had scheduled a replacement he immediately asked if I would rather have the puncture repaired and save some money. I already knew it wasn't repairable but thanked him for the consideration. Lastly he asked if I wanted to wait for the tire to save my wife a trip out. He explained the process and timeline for service succinctly. Seriously, this guy (AJ) needs his own parking spot with his name on it. That quality of an employee is like a unicorn these days. When I picked up the car AJ closed the service ticket and provided great insights into other services and such. Closing - definitely left a satisfied customer and will repeat business with them. Only downside is that they open at 8 am and my work schedule is in full swing by 8:30 so I wish they opened at 7 am but that's on me. read more

Had a bad experience. Was told my tread was not good enough to be patched. I think it's because they were closing in 15 minutes. so I had a very unsafe 40 minute drive home. I had no problem with the tire being patched in my town. Nothing was said about the tread there. read more

Well my 1st 2 experiences were okay. 1st I bought my tires and spent over $600 at the Valparaiso Indiana store. They were great. Three thousand miles later I called to see if they could rotate them because im a delivery driver and thought it would be a good idea to rotate them with an earlier interval. Again they were great and did the rotation for me. Then 3000 miles later I called to have them rotated again and got... its too busy we can't do it today so I said okay ill wait a little longer and I called every week until I was at 5600 miles and same thing every time.... its too busy they have no appointments open for weeks bla bla bla. So then I called merrillville and they said sure bring it up here. We'll anyone who has been there knows that they clean the surface area with a power wire brush. A unnecessary step if you ask me. Well anyway they took off my tires and then did the cleaning thing and then put my tires back in the same spot plus my car calls for 33psi cold and top of the morning the next day I checked them and they were at 37.5 in the rear and 38 in the front. Not to mention on the way home I got stuck on I65 north in dead stop traffic for 90 min. So then I call and the guy who answered the phone says no my guys wouldn't waste the time to take them off and put them back in the same spot. Well I am one of those people who are extremely O.C.D. about maintaining my car's and the night before I was checking my air pressure and lost a cap. Well my driver's side front tire is the one I lost the cap for and low and behold it had the same cap on the same tire. Plus both my rear tires had Grey caps before the rotation and then after one was still grey and the passenger rear had a black one now. Not only that but I Penny check my tread obsessively and the front tires were worn just a tiny bit more because they messed me around for an extra 2600 miles but the back were still like new because its a fwd vehicle. Well after the rotation the rear tires still had the best tread. How is that still possible after a rotation? Its not. Well, whoever reads this from belle tire i want you to know that now I feel like my tires are no longer safe because I have driven further than what I would call reasonable on those front tires so now I want two new tires in the rear and I want the rear ones in the front. I will not stop until my car is right and I mean my way. I paid for a service and then some kid who's probably getting stoned on his break and said duh I forgot where they went and just put them back on the same spot worked on my car. I didn't pay for that and now feel that my tires are no good now and also not safe. If your employees dont know anything about cars then they need to put down the wrench and go put big macs together however you would probably get a big Mac with a quarter pounder bun on it. Im tired of having to bring my car back 3 and 4 times to get a 15 minute service done. Also now my tires are over the interval I wanted them at. I rotate at 3k and I was willing to let it go with 5600 miles but now they are over 6k in the same place. The only way I will believe it was done is to watch the video they said they would pull from that day and watch it myself. If you all think im gonna wait for you to review the video and then take your word for it I won't. I want to see it myself. I promise from the depths of my soul I will show up in those shops daily and tell all the new customers there how I was treated. Plus I will call every hour on the hour every day until I either get half my $ back for the tires or they are replaced. ​ read more

I had a last minute tire repair needed last Friday, when everyone was out for Black Friday specials. I walked in to the Crestwood store without an appt and was welcomed and taken great care of by John Perry and Jason Hall. My car has over 150,000 miles on it which means things are going to start breaking down! And of course my luck that's just what's happening! They have been great in fixing these things and also explaining what is wrong. Currently i had brakes done somewhere else (don't know why) but i did. After that more things were being found wrong on my car. Took it back to where the work was done and was told it was complete. Lo and behold it wasn't! Decided to take it to Belle Tire and found not only was the problem not fixed but had some more issues! Long story short they fixed them! Great place, knowledgeable people and very clean shop! I went to the Belle Tire in Palatine, IL for a new set of tires. They gave me the lowest quote and they were good on it. However, when I was ready to leave, they handed me a list of things that needed to be done on the car totaling hundreds of dollars. To digress, I am a fanatic about taking care of my vehicles and adhering to the prescribed maintenance schedules. I have a local mechanic who has been taking care of my cars for 20 years. One of my cars is a 2002 Camry that looks and drives like it just came from the dealer. I document all my maintenance on a database. I just ignored the list they gave me and went my way. Last month, a tire staring losing air regularly and I was due for my first "free" rotation. After they did the work, I was handed a list of things that were "urgently needed" to be done on my car for a total of $794. Looking over the list, I found things that my mechanic had done just months earlier and nothing from the previous list that I never had fixed were on there. Did they fix themselves? I took the list to my mechanic, and he was visibly upset because I know how much he despises shops ripping people off. read more

I went to the location in Mokena on May 18th and they went far beyond my expectations. I pulled up to the service bay 20 minutes before closing needing one tire replaced the same day but overall needing all four changed. The team said they'd change the two tires for me same day and I could come back for the remaining two the following business day. Joe explained that I got the most value by paying for all four at once to get the rebates and then just come back for the service on the other two. But that didn't even matter because by the time I was checked out, the team had decided to change all four for me the same day. I was so appreciative that they were willing to work even a few minutes beyond closing time to meet my needs. They were fast and so kind. I will definitely be going back there again. read more

I had been losing air in one of my tires. I called first to see if they could look at it same day...they could! I went in and was out in less than an hour. It was able to be patched at zero cost! I have had several issues with Belle Tire in Mokena and they will never get my business again. I should have known after I bought a set of tires for my F150 in Sep of 2022 ($1300 was a decent price). When I picked it up thank god I checked the lug nut key because the manager gave me the wrong one. I went back into the store and mine was near the mechanic. Some other poor sap is out there without their proper lug nut key. That will be a fun time for them. In Apr of 2023 I put a complete set of tires on a Pacifica (around $1000) and when I looked at the rims the mechanic didn't even bother to wipe off the lube sealant so it looked like the rims were scratched. Is it that hard to wipe off that stuff after spending $1000 on tires? Still not convinced this place sucked, in Dec of 2023 I put a new front set on an old Town & Country ($400 was an ok price). So ok, I've spent some money here.. NOW in February of 2024 I bring in my daughter's 2018 Buick Encore because the tires were old and out of service. Joe the manager gave me a military discount and we agreed upon $1000 for new tires and an alignment. Here's where it gets interesting, when I return to the store to pick up the Buick, Joe the manager says, "I have some bad news for you, your front end is completely shot on this car." Mind you I just bought the car from CarMax a couple of weeks ago. The mechanic who installed the tires was behind Joe and said to me, "I've never seen a front end this bad before in my life." I said the car only has 19k miles on it, how can it be that bad? Joe says, "well it gets worse, the front brakes are completely gone and need to be replaced, too." I said thank you for your time, they provided me estimates, and off to CarMax I go to have their mechanics look it over. They found no issues with the front end or brakes, in fact, they reimbursed me the majority of the cost of the tire replacement. Looking for the final opinion, I then took the car to a Buick dealership in Tinley Park who did a total inspection. Again, there was nothing wrong with the front-end suspension and the brakes were all good, too. As a matter of fact, CarMax had replaced the rotors a month before we bought the car. Long story short - DO NOT TRUST BELLE TIRE. Never again, these guys lied right to my face about the status of my daughter's vehicle - knowing I would do anything to ensure her vehicle was in safe condition to drive. Being retired law enforcement, I have half a mind to file a complaint for fraud against Belle Tire, but I'd prefer to just warn others to stay away. read more

I was able to go directly to the shop and they installed the tires in less than an hour and a half. I believe it was the manager who assisted me and it seemed like he gave me a good deal. I wish I could give 0 stars. I purchased a set of tires 6 months ago. Approximately 2 months later I started having issues with the pressure in one tire and getting warnings on my dash. Went into the store and they said I needed a gauge or something. It was $89. Ok. I left there with a warning still on my dash that they said would turn off on its own. Well, it did come on and off at will. Then 2 months later I started losing air from another tire. i put air in that tire and drove to Belle Tore for them to tell me they couldn't help me because Id been driving on a flat tire. Bought four new tires from local business and my front passenger tire developed a sidewall crack and went flat. Tire can't be repaired and the place I bought them from a year ago is not open on weekends! About 6000 miles on these tires. I go to Belle in Mokena and was greeted with Knowledgeable service reps, who gave me options in regards to tires and quality choices. Go somewhere else! All these little ***holes that work there care about is trying to sell you a new set of tires that you don't need. I brought a tire in there today that was leaking to have it repaired. The first thing out of there mouth was 'these tires are shot' and 'we won't patch any holes that we find'. They then tried to tell me that the tires were from 2017. What god damn difference does that make? I'm sorry but these tires were rated for 60k miles and only had 25k on them, with plenty of life remaining. I've been driving for over 40 years, I know a thing or two about tires. The people that work there are arrogant, and clearly don't know anything about customer relations. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Plenty of other shops price match as well. read more

I've always been a big fan of Belle Tire because of the American Flag they display at their stores. Additionally, they have generously sponsored my cousins hockey team in Detroit for many years. I had another first rate experience today. Phoned to see if I could just walk in for an oil change or if I needed an appointment. I was told walk in's were welcome and that oil changes usually took about an hour. I appreicate them sharing the estimated time for service. The staff member who asssisted me, Christian B. was warm, welcoming and trustworthy. My wait in the lobby was nice and relaxing. There were 2 gentleman in the waiting area with me and both of them fell asleep as it was so peaceful. Price was right on target. All around a great experience and I would definitley recomend. had a terrible experience at belle they - had new tires put on and front alignment 2 minutes after pulling out of the shop - I heard a rattling noise in my front axle aera - first bump I hit my coil was severed and bounded around LaGrange rd - I went back to belle spoke with Mike the manager - He was not helpful said his alignment did not cause the coil to break - BS - I was told after 1/2 hr of the car being in the alignment it would be 5 minutes longer took another half hr - many conversations between employees - I new their was an issue when they cam out and said a bolt was rusted ... Made an appointment for replacement tires at 10am. Was told an hour an a half it would be done. Came back 2 hours later and it was not done and had not been moved from the parking spot. I asked for an accurate estimate of time because the manager gave excuses about why the tires were not done. Again, just wanted an accurate estimate of time. Manager assured me my car was next and big guy walks up saying he's not getting bumped because of me complaining. Guy's car was already in the bay being worked on. Said he had been waiting for 4hrs for an oil change??!! Who waits that long in the lobby for an oil change? Nobody. Turns out he was having his tires worked on as well but wanted some sympathy so he made it seem like he was being extra patient for an oil change when he wasn't. The main issue was getting an accurate estimate of time because I needed a ride. But big guy decided to get involved even though nobody was yelling, just working on my ride situation. Seems like Belle Tire overbooked the day. Manager was nice, apologetic, and did his best to deescalate the situation between myself and big guy. Not a good experience as a female trying to get my car worked on. I communicated with respect and was calm and quiet but it didn't matter. Big guy felt the need to get involved. read more

They were extremely efficient, and the best part, as a woman in a tire shop - I didn't feel taken advantage of due to lack of knowledge about my vehicle. 10/10 would recommend.
