We visit here at least twice a month. Wide variety of both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. Staff is great. Vibe very low key.

What a great neighborhood bar. Very gay friendly. Euchre every Friday at 7:30. No entry fee and prizes for the winners.

My husband really…read morewanted the burger of the month which apparently isn't available at brunch despite none of their promotional information specifying that so that was the first disappointment. We decided we didn't want drinks today and normally we do order alcohol, so not sure if we were being ignored more for that reason? We were very unclear who was serving us as two or three people asked if we wanted drinks and then we saw hardly anyone after we said no. Our food took 45 minutes to be served with no updates from a server or apologies for the wait, despite other tables (who came in after us) around us being apologized to and getting food before us. My breakfast poutine was also sub-par today, the egg was forgotten and brought out several minutes later, overcooked and rubbery. Normally we have a great experience here but today just really missed. We would have been more understanding if there were an ounce of communication but if our food had arrived 5 minutes later we would have left before it arrived (we just had waters at that point since we did a lot of drinking for the holiday last night). Will be interested to see if our experience stays consistent in future visits. And I really hope our experience wasn't just because we opted out of bar drinks today.

Came here for their Sunday brunch and it did not disappoint! Brunch doesn't start until 11am on Sunday and we arrived around 1140 and got a table for 2 without any wait! The hostess and our waitress were friendly and attentive. Started with a stacked Bloody Mary which had a slider, bacon, and a chicken wing! The bloody itself was tasty, though I prefer mine to be a little spicier. We got the Hawt Mess and Breakfast Poutine and both were delicious. The over easy egg on the poutine was perfectly cooked and the smashed potatoes in the Hawt Mess were crispy and flavorful. We will absolutely be back to try the rest of the brunch menu!

I was anxious to get on the road ahead of the blizzard but here we are. From the first moment when we were greeted by regulars and I raised eyebrows by asking for a glass for my PBR, I knew I was among friends. Regulars had all brought in food and we were warmly invited to partake. Everything from home baked cookies to Arby's! And a world class collection of sports memorabilia. Really world class. I wish this was in my hood. But I was told it is often this way during games, so I will be bringing my new friend, who does live nearby. I totally forgot I needed to get on the road and enjoyed myself. And if you know me, you know how unique that is. So if you can, visit here ASAP. And you can thank me later.

Sundy's exemplifies such a dive bar and is located in Finneytown, about 10 miles north of downtown. It is a small, family-owned establishment, so don't be surprised if--after only 2 or 3 visits--the bartenders and frequenters remember your face. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable, and the drink prices are probably too reasonable (but don't tell them I said that!). There are daily drink specials that will satisfy even the hardest of drinkers. Sundy's is "The Home of the Stormcloud" but I always recommend the Nada Bomb: originated on the West side, it is a shot comprised of cherry vodka, orange juice, red bull and a splash of cran. These shots run $5 per, so I always suggest simply buying a pitcher for the unbeatable price of $20 (the pitcher equals about 10 shots, so it's a really great deal, especially to buy for a round). Feel free to come visit to sit back and enjoy Trivia Night on Thursdays (www.lastcalltrivia.com), watch your favorite team(s) on any of its multiple flat screens, or just to hang out with friends. Though, don't plan on coming in on Sundays, as that is the only day the bar is closed during the week.
