It's a big place, lots of options to choose from. I saw a review on the amount of instant noodles selection so I went. I was pleasantly surprised. I bought 4 different kinds so far and would try more down the road. I think this place is a bit cheaper than T&T on most things. The Asian veggies also more fresh compared to other Chinese grocery stores. I bought meat that was already cut for stir fry which was very convenient. I went there twice at night so not many people. The 2 opened registers were enough to be efficient for getting me out of there quickly. The cooked food section has a lot to choose from, I liked the beef thin slices and the pork ears. The cafe inside the supermarket has the most affordable sushi in Toronto. Moreover, they work till 23:00, which is rare for a supermarket in Canada. read more

I rarely go to C & C Supermarket but whenever I am in the area for some ice cream at Kitaya, I always pop by to C & C Supermarket to browse. This grocery looks to be part of the same grocery chain as Foody? (I may be wrong). I love their plaza as it has a lot of restaurants from a short distance and also Oomomo nearby. If I didn't live as far, I would go there every day. The grocery is not too big but still have a fair amount of stock though some of their hot items do sell out fast. They do charge for bags so bring your recyle bags. I rarely have to line up long to cash out but then I go when it isn't at a busy time. A lot of their items pricing are cheaper than Roblaws and T and T but some items aren't as inexpensive but certainly, the convenience factor is there. Lots of parking and easy to access by TTC. Supposedly this supermarket has only been open for a few years but my first impression is that it looks like it has been around for years. Perhaps it's the lack of decor that makes it seem older than it is. The no frills approach reminds me of Sunny Supermarket and Tone Tai Supermarket. This is a rather large supermarket that has produce on the left when you enter, followed by housewares. There's many aisles in the centre with sauces, noodles, snacks, drinks, etc. The bakery is at the back with the hot food (BBQ, dim sum) section on the right along with a separate cosmetics/skincare section. This property was completely redeveloped with a huge Asian supermarket; I used to attend events at a banquet hall facility on this same lot before the tear down. A friend told me about this place so I took the proper COVID-19 precautions before I ventured here for the first time. Upon entering, the first thing I noticed was the sheer size of the store! (...and it reminded me of Knob Hills Farms...) Aisles are wide and product selection is good. Staff are helpful if you can't locate what you are looking for or just look up at the large signs at the main entrances for each aisle. (...and take note of surveillance cameras everywhere...) You'll find a hot prepared foods department where you can get takeout for a quick meal. Beyond that, there is a personal care/beauty section plus lotto & customer service counter as well as all the traditional departments found in a large format supermarket. Prices are competitive with T&T Supermarkets and Hong Tai Supermarket; some lower, some higher. Checkout was quick for my $124 shopping trip and I know the cashier was surprised when I said thank you to her for bagging my purchases; there was a noticeable delay before she replied back. Many shoppers aren't kind! I plan to return to C&C when I'm in the Don Mills Rd and Eglinton Ave E area. Prices are usually good. Hot food is fine, tasty. BUT!!! I have an issue with their BBQ department, every time I've had chicken the bones are seem smashed vs cut, and so there are may tiny shards of bone in the meat. which just seems dangerous. read more

This grocery store is really large and has a wide selection. The way the it's laid out is a bit hard because it's hard to navigate the aisles with the dry grocery however it's like that at most Asian stores. I really like how they have a huge produce selection with lots of veggies from different parts of Asia, not just China. You can also find a large tofu and fresh noodle section which is also great to fill on all of your needs. I always love to check out the house section of these stores and am always so tempted to pick up a few things. There are lots of things that I remember from my childhood like thermoses and spoons. I also really like how they have a giant beauty section with its own check out. Finally, the bakery section was a bit disappointing bit it might be due to current events so I won't judge it too harshly on that aspect alone. I would definitely visit again. read more

Was really looking forward to coming here. The positives: Good selection of "tropical" fruit, at fairly reasonable prices. Jackfruit, mangosteen, passion fruit, lychee, dragonfruit and rambutan, etc. Vegetables: did not have a huge selection of fresh Vietnamese style herbs. Overall vegetable section was meh. Lots of packaged imported items from S.E. Asia and China/Korea/Japan. Bakery ok, T+T is better. Meat selection just ok. THE FRESH FISH COUNTER IS HORRID. Everyone's fingers in the fish counter, touching, poking and checking. I counted several customers with bare hands touching the fish! MAJOR TURN OFF! Hubby said there was no soap in either the mens' or womens' toilets. NEVER coming here again. This place has potential. They need to have better hygiene practices, standards and expectations (i.e. soap in the washrooms), and no customers should be allowed to touch/check fish with their bare hands. Put a plastic bag over your hands if you need to check the way people do at T+T, Blue Sky, etc! read more

Our family shops here quite often since the grocery price is very reasonable. You will always find something on sale, for example, frozen durian, they were so good. The food are quite fresh, you will find the best mushrooms, better than Costco. This review will be a four star if the cashier was not so rude. My wife bought this Durian and decided not to get it, and the cashier gave her a mouthful for not making up her mind. Just put the durian aside and get on with it. Of course, we don't waste our time with these type of human beings. The parking is good. The place is well cleaned. I've been here twice and just love wandering around the aisles to see all the grocery items, household items and beauty items they carry! It's located so close to me and for that I am grateful! It's a large supermarket that is kept clean. There is a whole section just for beauty items (Asian based) and at the back, the household items section. The hot food station (I haven't picked up anything from here yet) looks good, with lots of variety. At the back is the meat section. I took a look at some of the prices and they are pretty cheap. I bought some beef for $3.33 to make a pot roast and the quality of the meat impressed me. I'll definitely be back here again. I could spend a long time in here just looking at all the products (mainly bc I'm trying to figure out what they are - I have to read a lot of the store labels bc as you can guess, some of the products aren't English labelled on the actual product - not a big deal at all..just takes a little extra time for me) The produce seems pretty fresh so far..and of course this is definitely where you can get your Asian and Middle Eastern delights. I did notice some prices for produce were higher than the Superstore though - so just know your prices and you will be fine. But overall, the produce is cheaper. read more

The cooked foods is an excellent value for money and opportunity to try a variety of dishes. The dining area has chopsticks, plastic forks / knives /spoons, and it can get busy. If you are looking for a quick meal and cost effective, look no further! I think the kitchen closes around 6pm, and some of the cooked foods become available as packaged food. read more

We checked out this new supermarket which is on the west side of Don Mills in a strip mall --- just north of Wynford - right after the overpass (behind the car dealership near the Swiss Chalet/Asian Legend). Huge asian market with all kinds of offerings. Great selection of fresh fish with live tanks. Huge meat counter. Large selection of fresh vegetables and fruits. Fantastic selection of prepared Asian foods (Hot table). Lots of baked goods including cakes and individual treats. Also incredible selection of sauces, spices and ingredients for making all kinds of Asian and Japanese foods. Twice as large as the T&T on Cherry Street. Could not get over the options. Stopped by to have a look at this Asian supermarket that has been in renovations and finally opened. It is massive inside. There's a lot of merchandise everything you would expect in a asian supermarket. There's a hot food counter and bbq area although it was closed when I visited. Nice bakery area and selection of ready made cakes. They have a lot of Japanese items including big area for cosmetics. Really liked all the picky selection and Japanese snacks. Bubble tea area. Produce section also huge. Meat counter is butcher style. Didn't have a chance to see the seafood area. Everything seemed tidy and orderly. Brightly lit. Service at the hot counter continues to be terrible. At the end of the day instead of taking my order, they want me to wait and watch them package all of the food to put out on the counter for sale. Then I can get my noodles. Of course what they are packaging now isn't noodles. What they are packaging next is also not noodles. Are they doing the noodles last because they want to make me wait? I brought my mom here after shopping at the Japanese dollar store next door. This supermarket is huge and very clean since it only opened last year. Starting from the right, there is a customer service counter, followed by the bakery, hot food counter, fish department, meat, dairy and looping around to the left is the fresh vegetable aisles. The produce and some of the seafood seemed fresh. We did find the lighting dim in the aisles. It's a great addition for those living close by. If you come during the weekdays, parking is easy and the store is not as busy. read more

Went looking for fresh durian fruit for an exotic fruit challenge in Canada. I went to several fruit stands and grocery stores in the Toronto area as well as China town and I was unable to find fresh durian but did find plenty of frozen durian options. This place is AMAZING when it comes to its depth of inventory. So many different varieties of fruits, vegetables, and meats. I ended up buying several different melons and an already fresh peeled durian fruit exported from Thailand. It was an awesome first-time experience eating durian fruit but most likely won't be eating it again as it's not for me. Tasted a lot like roasted garlic and that fresh onion spiciness. There is a subtle sweetness that you'll notice and the more you ate the less stinky the fruit will smell. If you've ever heard of asparagus pee phenomenon, there for sure is durian fruit pee phenomenon and it smells exactly like the stinky fruit. On a side note of the store, there was a fruit called YumYum fruit where I wanted to buy to try but I had already spent a hundred dollars on exotic fruit. Just looking at the exterior of the fruit it did look delicious and I'll have to get it next time I'm in Canada. read more

This supermarket is large, modern, and has all the amenities you'd expect from a T&T Supermarket type of store; a live seafood section, butcher, pre-cooked meals, dim sum, cheese. The prices are about average. I expected the price to be higher based on how uncluttered and clean this location is. There is quite a lot of free parking in the plaza, which is shared with Harveys, Congee Star, Pho88, and a few other stores, but it can get busy at peak hours. This time, I had a good experience. Last week, C&C had a sale on cooked chicken leg quarters. 3 for $3.99. I needed them for a large gathering, so I bought the entire tray. 54 chicken leg quarters. They packed them into foil trays for me, wheeled them to customer service so I could pay for them, and surprisingly, they also wheeled them to the car for me. That's how you do good customer service. Pros: Very good prices Not as crowded as other Chinese supermarkets uptown. Cons: Entrance to parking is tight As a child, I grew up in the Don Mills and Lawrence area. The one thing missing was always a Chinese Supermarket near by. Don't get confused by the name, C & C is Foody Mart in disguise. This new location though is by far their best location if you as me. I go to a Chinese supermarket every weekend to do most of my grocery shopping. If you ever go to a T and T on a Sunday afternoon, you know how super crowded they can get. C & C was not super crowded at all when I got there just after lunch on Sunday. It was super nice not to get crammed like a sardine in a can for once. C & C's prices are very good even for a Chinese supermarket. I'm usually not a fan of Foody mart because I feel their produce and meats suffer in quality for the lower prices. I've gone into Foody marts in the past and come out empty handed because the quality was just too low even with the good prices. C & C had an excellent price to quality ratio if you ask me. It won't be the best you can find in a supermarket, but it's very good for what you pay. As some have said before me, C & C is one of the cleaner supermarkets out there. Granted, it's fairly new so let's see if they can keep this up in the long run. Parking might be the thing that will bother me most about this place. The parking lot that was originally built for the plaza was never built for traffic a supermarket will get. One of the entrances is on Don Mills road which is a busy street. The entrance to the lot is narrow and when you get in, there are probably tons of cars trying to get out because Don Mills is so busy. You're better off using the side entrance at Barbara Greene Rd but then you're on the other side of the plaza and have to drive through the entire lot to get to C & C. All in all, I like C & C for what it is right now. Hopefully it continues on being a good option in the years to come. read more

This Supermarket has been my folks' favorite in term of commodities selection, so I went there for the second time morning of Aug 23 had an unpleasant exchange with the customer services lady - who had her mask hanging on one ear during the entire conversation and had raised her voice on me during a face-to-face exchange (not behind any protective layer) from the get-go. The sad thing, the fact that she could potentially harm me and my 70-year old father (with whom I live) only hit me half way during our conversation. While I certainly enjoyed walking up and down the aisles purchasing two dozen items, and I am most appreciative of all the essential workers, I also hope that the store could be more considerate for its customers. I had an issue with a mis-scanned item right after I had reviewed the bill upon check out but before completing the payment, so I wished to have it removed. The cashier recommended me to speak with Customer Service instead, so after completing the payment, I went directly from the cashier's desk to customer service (with time stamp on my receipt too) to ask for something that seemed like a simple fix; but instead, I was told by the rep was that there is a company police saying 'No Refund' plus a list of reasons which would make it my fault. Imagine how this would make an experience at Customerservice... thankfully we were able to talk it out eventually. Here are some recommendations for improvement: 1) Please wear a mask. I hope everyone will stay safe, but please please communicate to us should any customer service rep exhibit flu symptoms. 2) Please make the 'No refund' policy loudly and clearly. Not everyone is aware of it, and your service rep shouldn't assume so. 3) Please don't make assumptions and assertions about a customer who is making a request to which you might have had negative experiences in the past. You would turn the current customer's experience from a positive one to a negative one too. read more

I've been here several times to buy vegetables ,meat,and seafood. A couple of time, an item or two was on sale but registered regular priced on the cashier, its no big deal if its one or two dollars difference but when two or more items have the wrong price, I dont think its right, considering that i was not the only one buying that sale item. So this time, i tried to buy las islas deboned milkfish for $2.98 on sale from the reg price of $4.99. Sure enough, the price was still the same as regular price instead of the sale price of $2.98.!! So i went to the customer service and told him the mistaken price... guess what , she handed me the $2 difference , I'd asked if they'll give it free since its a wrong price, she said they didnt have that store policy in place. So i recommend you review your receipt before heading home and check on the sale items. read more

I'm pumped that C&C opened in this area. Before C&C, we didn't have a good general Asian supermarket in the neighbourhood. I am just appreciative that it exists here to fill that niche. C&C's best feature is their selection of products. I find Asian snacks here that I can't even find at any of the very large competitors. They also have all Asian stuff, so you can get your Chinese foods, Korean and Japanese foods, some Filipino, and there's even a middle eastern aisle. The produce is ok. Decent selection. The meat was ok and the prices seemed really good. I haven't had the prepared food yet, but it looked ok. The baked goods section was a bit lacking when I went, but they have only been open a short while. Overall - it's a good general Asian market in the area that has a great spread of products. read more

I dont know why ppl. Are giving less than 5 stars but I absolutely love this place. They recently opened up at don mills and this place is clean, has everything you need, and is super cheap! It has a meat section, bread, fish, bakery, bbq, perfume, veggies, household items etc. Etc. And the list can go on. I love their chinese buns they sell here and alwayd grab 3 of them because they taste so delicious. All of their items are yummy and you can find a pretty good deal on almost everything here. Lychee Grapea are my go to and I dunno how they make them so crunchy and delicious but I cannot stop buying them. Compared to other Asian markets this one is pretty clean. The fish section is really nice and they have plenty of meats as well. They have your cooked food sections that have your typical chinese food, bbq items, and ramen. Great supermarket with a lot of selection. There are so many items here that I've never seen anywhere else. The place is so clean. The prices are so cheap. It's has items from all over the world. It's amazing and represent Canada so well. Vegetables and fruits are really good and fresh. The ready made food is great when I don't want to cook that night. Meats are fresher than Metro and Loblaws and cheaper too. There are plenty of parking right in front. This supermarket is an amazing addition and much needed in this area. read more

Its not T and T but its close enough. Great selection of Asian products and it also has a great mini food court as well.

Their ready-to-eat food section is so-so. (To be specific, I got a box of "BBQ Crispy Pork" but it had soggy skin and mostly fat with minimal meat + pool of oil by the time that I got back to my car. Luckily, I declined when the counter person tried to upsell me to buy more.) Their low prices definitely reflect the quality of the stuff. The store is newly renovated and looks very nice but the products are low quality. I don't understand why they spend the money to decorate it to appear as Loblaw-level (Premium) but sell No Frills level products (Budget Oriented).
