Bear Creek is well stocked on your typical gas station finds, but it also carries some unique additional gems - such as soft fleece blanket robes, branded hoodies, hats and more. They even have a Bear Creek Burrito Cart inside (with set hours). Bear Creek proved to be magical for the holidays this past year. We ended up manifesting some last minute gift items here that were genuinely loved and appreciated by the recipients. I asked for a two egg breakfast and was informed the grill was off, they are only doing lunch. The menu does not list breakfast hours to the best of my memory. Left with only cold food, I assume, we left. Extremely disappointing. We will return because my first rating was good. They had a kit that literally was able to pop my car door open to get my keys right before I was going to call triple a. They saved my life that day I swear. Called and spoke to James, the manager, and let him know my Mom had her purse stolen out of her…read moretruck when she was there today. He apologized profusely and asked for details of her truck and what pump she was at and said to have her call the Sonora PD to have them come out and see the footage from their security cameras. He went through an hour of camera footage and saw nothing suspicious. I called him an hour or so later and told him my Mom just called and found her purse in the garage. She's a senior citizen and had not remembered taking it out of the truck. I felt so badly for James (and my Mom did, too) that he went through all of the footage for nothing. I called James to call off the search and apologized for the mistake. But he was so incredibly kind and thoughtful saying how happy he was she found the purse, and that he totally understands. Please hire more people like James! That man need a raise and a bonus for Rhis one. He really acted like he was happy to have been sent on a wild goose chase because he felt bad for her. What a gem!
