Bear Creek is the closest gas station to our house. They recently added a small grocery area which is great if you forgot something or need to grab something on your way home without hitting a big store. They also have their food service counter - they have really good burritos & tacos. They also have a small section for fishing gear including worms. They have a car wash as well as free air to fill your tires. Propane tank fills & small bundles of firewood. For the most part they are one of the better priced gas stations in the area and their staff is always friendly. read more

A key gas station in the area. Bear Creek Station was opened in 2011 under the Mi Wuk tribe - some years after the opening of the Black Oak Casino - https://mewuk.com/cultural/history. It has and continues to serve the local community well. My husband loves to stop in here to stock up on affordable gas, as well as items that he can't find at other spots in the area. Bear Creek is well stocked on your typical gas station finds, but it also carries some unique additional gems - such as soft fleece blanket robes, branded hoodies, hats and more. They even have a Bear Creek Burrito Cart inside (with set hours). Bear Creek proved to be magical for the holidays this past year. We ended up manifesting some last minute gift items here that were genuinely loved and appreciated by the recipients. Best price for gas in the area, but don't sleep on the convenience store -- it has everything you could need and more, including a small taco stand (stocked with previously frozen Del Rio food, fyi), plenty of self-serve fountain soft drinks choices, cold beer, and snacks on snacks on snacks. (Seriously, the chip selection is better than most full grocery stores!) It also has clean restrooms and very friendly staff. I walked into the Bear Creek Station with my service dog to get a burrito. Two separate employees asked me to leave because of my dog and I said that she is a service dog. They said that they did not care and that I would have to take it up with the casino. Now I hate to argue but what they said and did was just flat out wrong and disrespectful. My friend had to stay inside and get my food for me... I won't be coming back. read more

This place definitely fills a need because there isn't a whole lot of choices in the area for gas or groceries. (Wouldn't be your go-to for groceries, but may have what you need) While the small town of Tuolumne is nearby the town tends to roll up the sidewalks fairly early, this place at least has later hours. This is one of those places that seemingly has a little bit of everything, and is pretty convenient if you're visiting the Black Oak Casino Resort or RV Park. When you go inside to get a snack and you stand in front of the vendor for 120seconds, I'm less than five feet away watching her make food , she looks up at me turns around and walks away, , no hello no I'll be right with you , nada. I recommend Bear Creek because their breakfast burritos are phenomenal. Cheryl makes amazing burritos and makes them with a lot of love and definitely knows her way into using delicious ingredients for the burritos. She has a lovely personality, kind, friendly and makes your day better. She is also very funny too. She makes amazing food and never disappoints. She does an amazing job here and I come back for burritos because of Cheryl. I recommend Cheryl and her burritos. Cheryl always makes the best breakfast burritos ever and she is definately a great asset to Bear Creek and to the burrito truck itself. She makes phenomenal food is amazing. Cheryl is a wonderful person and always makes my day and my boyfriends day too when we come to get burritos with her. She makes her food with so much love that I feel and taste the love in her food. Front register people are nice and friendly. It stops there. Yes, this place is huge and has like 12 Pumps but it's always a clusterf**k. I'd only stop here when nothing else is open. The small Mexican place was recommended to me by a local as bomb. Perhaps the bland taste, horrible meat and bomb diarrhea that came after is what they meant. Great stop if you are really hungry and need laxatives, but don't want to make 2 stops. The store itself is stocked decently, and has a beer cave. Definitely a last resort kind of place. read more

Really don't understand what all the complaints r. The gas is always among the cheapest In area. The station is well kept, well lit for those who fill after dark. The staff has always been friendly a helpful. Hell they have toilet paper. The "Mexican" fast food inside has great 6$ burrito. Quit complaining and if the clerk is busy say something like "hi there". 40$ on number 40. There is no pump 40 but they will understand. Shit lighten up. Buy a burrito, get gas and have some lunch, dinner and enjoy life I a great area. I paid for a car wash at the pump and never received a code. I went to the car wash and paid again. When I called to get a refund for one of the car washes I was told I would have come in to get the refund. Very frustrating that it could not be done over the phone with all of my information. read more

The new car wash there is a joke. Biggest waste of $8.00. The car came out less dirty but definitely not clean. Won't waste my money again which is too bad because I was excited that they had one. read more

We just stopped for bait and water on the way to our campsite. Everyone was so friendly and they were even giving away free shirts! It's so nice, so clean, huge, had everything you'd need, including a F'real milkshake machine They even have an RV dump. Great stop! read more
