Finally one day, a puddle appeared, and I was able to determine the source of the leak- a slow drip from one of the elbows on the orange CPVC pipe. It was buried in the ceiling, so I cut out a square around it to allow for easy access. Unless you find the idea of turning your house into an indoor water park attractive, I don't suggest attempting to repair CPVC sprinkler pipe yourself. It's not as easy as it looks. Don't ask how I know that. We called JR Wagner on a Sunday, and they suggested that if we could wait until Monday during business hours, rates would be much cheaper since it wouldn't be an emergency call. We took their advice and called back on Monday. We e-mailed them a picture as well as told them the size of the pipe, and the parts we thought were involved. They quoted us the price for the repair over the phone before work began so we knew what we were getting into. That same morning, Foreman John arrived promptly, got right to work, and explained the repairs that he made when he was finished. He was extremely kind, polite, and a pleasure to talk to. The repairs he made appeared to be of the highest quality and it looks stronger than when it was new. It worked the first time, no leaks. You just can't put a price on the service they provide. It's fantastic. Thank you JR Wagner and John! We are dry and have the water running on the inside of the pipes like it's supposed to again thanks to you!

Anyway, he offered to replace all my sprinklers on top of replacing the leaking one. His crews work was fantastic!!! They were the best people you could interact with and very professional. I detected a leak from one of their sprinklers about a week later and they came over immediately and fixed it. About a month later I discovered a leak, and again called them around 5pm I think (I live in the Bay Area), and by 7pm!!! their technician "James", was at our home working on the problem. He discovered it was not a sprinkler problem, rather I had a leaking roof. He was right and the roof company has fixed that problem. Follow up service at 7pm driving from Modesto to the Bay Area!!! Install the fantastic alarm system with cellular backup, which is monitored 24/7. I have my technicians cell phone number so if there's ever a problem, I can give him a call and he answers quickly and lets me know if there's an issue but so far no problems and the system looks fantastic. The prices are very reasonable for the product and service they offer. There are a lot of unscrupulous companies out there trying to rope you into long term monitoring contracts as that is the gravy of recurring revenue for alarm companies (I was involved in that industry) in my experience and dealing with them, but this is not one of them. Very honest and always happy to help. You can always reach someone which is so important. Today's customer service is lacking with many companies and at least with Granite Peak, I haven't had to worry about that. 5 stars all the way!
