It was his willingness to work around my schedule and ultimately by replacing 20-plus dual pane argon filled windows, without damaging my stucco and or interior wooden shutters. Jason replaced my windows by replacing the glass inserts without altering the frames! During this process (completed in one day)!!!! I decided to have him install two shower doors, a full size tub as well as full size walk-in shower. Both showers door's are of 3/8th thickness, very solid, high end product and with a crew of professionals to complete an accurate and one time install. Jason and crew are Pro's, personable, approachable and an honest hard working group of guys! Jason works with suppliers to reduce cost, expedite deliveries and fight for me when scheduling became an issue. Unfortunately, our warranty expired, so we were not able to get them to come out and fix it for us. Mike's Mobile Screen originally installed the security door. We reached out to them, but they gave us the run around for nearly a month. That's when we decided to reach out to Modesto Door & Window. We were unable to use our security door for a month. The mounting screws that attached the security door to our house were loose, and due to the size and weight of the door, when we opened the door, it would lean and nearly fall off! Colby came out to look at our door the following day after we contacted him. Before he did any work on the door, he emailed us his estimate which included materials, labor, and what he planned on doing. He cut the two top screws and added two additional screws. He removed some portions of the foam/trim of the door, reinforced the previous screws with liquid nail, and touched up the area where he worked on. Casey made the work appear professional at first, but during the very first storm after installation, the skylight leaked so badly that water was pouring into the house. The situation was severe enough that our paying guests stated the home was unusable and checked out early because of the amount of water coming in. We immediately sent a licensed roofer to inspect the work. The roofer took photos and confirmed the skylight was installed incorrectly and not properly sealed at all. Basic, standard waterproofing steps were skipped entirely. This was not a materials issue. It was poor workmanship. We contacted Casey multiple times with the documentation and the urgency of the situation. He did not respond, did not offer to fix the problem, and took zero responsibility. He simply avoided us. No follow up. No accountability. Completely unprofessional behavior. This caused us lost rental income, additional repair costs, and unnecessary stress. Between the failed installation and the way he disappeared afterward, this felt like dealing with a rookie amateur rather than a professional contractor.
