Very professional and responsive local company and will use them in future and would recommend them.

Fabulous! We had a leaking sprinkler. Brad asked I send a photo after which he informed me my sprinklers had been recalled some years back (I had known that, but just ignored the recall). Anyway, he offered to replace all my sprinklers on top of replacing the leaking one. His crews work was fantastic!!! They were the best people you could interact with and very professional. I detected a leak from one of their sprinklers about a week later and they came over immediately and fixed it. About a month later I discovered a leak, and again called them around 5pm I think (I live in the Bay Area), and by 7pm!!! their technician "James", was at our home working on the problem. He discovered it was not a sprinkler problem, rather I had a leaking roof. He was right and the roof company has fixed that problem. Follow up service at 7pm driving from Modesto to the Bay Area!!! Incredible service and greatest follow up! read more

Honest, Competent, Polite, Efficient. Our sprinkler had been leaking, unknown to us, for years. Finally one day, a puddle appeared, and I was able to determine the source of the leak- a slow drip from one of the elbows on the orange CPVC pipe. It was buried in the ceiling, so I cut out a square around it to allow for easy access. Unless you find the idea of turning your house into an indoor water park attractive, I don't suggest attempting to repair CPVC sprinkler pipe yourself. It's not as easy as it looks. Don't ask how I know that. We called JR Wagner on a Sunday, and they suggested that if we could wait until Monday during business hours, rates would be much cheaper since it wouldn't be an emergency call. We took their advice and called back on Monday. We e-mailed them a picture as well as told them the size of the pipe, and the parts we thought were involved. They quoted us the price for the repair over the phone before work began so we knew what we were getting into. That same morning, Foreman John arrived promptly, got right to work, and explained the repairs that he made when he was finished. He was extremely kind, polite, and a pleasure to talk to. The repairs he made appeared to be of the highest quality and it looks stronger than when it was new. It worked the first time, no leaks. You just can't put a price on the service they provide. It's fantastic. Thank you JR Wagner and John! We are dry and have the water running on the inside of the pipes like it's supposed to again thanks to you! read more

Really great to talk to Mark, smart and a straight shooter. Seems knowledgeable. Looking forward to the bidding process

The techs at JR Wagner are really nice and professional. We had hired them twice for two separate jobs. We recently need an inspection for all our townhomes in our HOA. They sent one of their best techs (Donnie). He was very thorough and comprehensive with his inspection of our homes. He was also careful with turning the water on or off too quickly so that the change in pressure wouldn't cause leaks or the pipe to burst. When he came back to address the issues found in the initial report, he again was very thorough and went above and beyond to make sure we were compliant and pass inspections. They also generated the inspection reports for the insurance company very quickly when we told them our insurance was demanding to see proof of our system working. Donnie is one of the best techs the company has. Another job, we had a leaky sprinkler head in our home. The tech (Manuel) was very careful and professional. He covered the ground underneath the area he was working to keep the floor clean. He was careful not to turn the water on/off too quickly so that the change in pressure would not cause more leaks and more headaches. He also made sure to stay a while after the repairs to be sure there wasn't more leaks. He didn't overtighten the sprinkler head because that could crack other parts and that head would continue to leak. All in all, we're satisfied with the quality of work performed and professionalism shown to us by the techs. We will look to JR Wagner for our fire protection needs in the future and not hesitate to refer them to others who need their fire sprinklers serviced. read more

I had a leaky fire sprinkler repair a few years back. Subsequently we fixed the water damage, replaced the floor and when the repair failed I was devastated. I called several 24/7 plumbers and when they realized it was fire sprinkler repair, no one wanted to touch the repair. Desperate I made a call to JR Wagner Fire Protection and Rick quickly dispatched Manuel to make the repair. Manuel was extremely meticulous and made the repair in our attic in order the save the mess of the Sheetrock repair for another day. With the holidays coming up, this was a very nice gesture. For professional, prompt and honest help you can trust the specialists at JR Wagner Fire Protection. read more

This business is a total fraud: they make an initial report (you pay for it) that will decline the certification. The report will tell you that you have to correct x amount of problems. And if you want to pass the certification you have to specifically order the fixing from this company. And of course they will charge you 500% the market price... read more

We had a problem with our hydrants testing correctly with another company so we decided to get a second opinion. JR Wagner came out immediately, performed the test correctly, and thankfully, our hydrants passed without any issues. We will be using JR Wagner from now on, and we highly recommend them!! read more

We had a burst fire sprinkler pipe in a brand new home we had just moved into right after the New Years holiday. They sent out a technician on a Sunday night who was able to repair the hole in the pipe and test the system so we could return water to the house before the next day. We had called around so many places and either they wouldn't come out on a Sunday, they didn't do residential, or they wanted a minimum of 24-48 hours of the water being off. This company was extremely professional and was able to help us out with a minimum of inconvenience. Donny the technician was very polite and courteous and really saved the day. They do charge an emergency rate for off hours but who doesn't. If I ever had trouble with my sprinklers again, this would be the first place I would call. I would highly recommend them. read more

I am extremely grateful to be working with Rick B, who has been most outstanding! I have inundated him with calls and emails, and he is always so helpful and on his game with a wealth of information he continues to provide me! He is consistent in providing me good direction and detail so my fire code project can be completed! Manual who did the install of risers, sprinklers is really the best at what he does with the install and attention to details. Both these gentlemen do their work exceptionally well! I am so very grateful and I would and do trust them immensely!! --- They will be my go to EXPERTS ! read more

We had a leaky fire sprinkler head on a Sunday morning and John was quick to get here and did a GREAT job! He had to cut a little drywall out, but made sure to cut the minimum amount so we wouldn't have too much repair. I was very impressed and would recommend his company to anyone who needs fire sprinkler service or repair! read more

We contacted this company over the weekend, received an estimate and then didn't schedule because we were giving another plumber a try. That didn't work and ultimatley lead to an even bigger issue. The bottom line is...if you have a fire sprinkler water issue you need to call these people. They are specialists and worth what you pay in service, professionalism and resolving the issue. Thank you JW Wagner! read more

We had to relocate and install new sprinklers in our retail shop. I found JR on yelp and decided to call base on the reviews. I am so glad that I did! I cannot say enough about Jon & his team. Jon made sure he met our deadline. He kept me inform step by step. He was honest! He completed the job in one and a half day vs a week quoted by another company. His team was there for inspection and took care of a preventative issue. Then Jon attended the final inspection. The whole experience exceeded my expectations!! read more

Let me start of by saying that if I could give JR Wagner Fire Protection more than 5 stars, I would without any hesitation whatsoever. I had to get a leaking fire sprinkler head replaced in my home. I was pleasantly surprised when Jon answered my call late on a Friday evening He asked me to text him a picture of the leaking head, and immediately alerted me to the fact that it was a defective and recalled sprinkler head. Jon is extremely knowledgeable and recommended the right replacement heads, provided a very reasonable quote, and scheduled the job on short notice. Chad and his helper from JR Wagner came over on-time on a Friday, were super efficient, super professional, and got all the work done smoothly. My wife and I are very happy that we came across JR Wagner Fire Protection. I would highly recommend Jon and his team for any fire protection related work. read more

The pipe connection to the check valve of my fire sprinkler system broke which caused us to completely shut off the water supply going into the house. Called JR Wagner and within an hour, Mark C. returned my call and followed up by sending me a quote to repair the damage. Once I agreed on the quote, Mark arranged for a service technician to go to my residence. Josh U.(service tech) called and gave me an estimated time frame he'll be at my place informing me that he's coming from Novato; Josh arrived on time. Josh immediately checked out the broken connection and informed me that the whole set up needs to be replaced for it to be up to code to today's standard. Once the problem was fixed, Josh even explained to me the importance of having the water valve(located just outside the house) completely open for the water sprinklers to function effectively in case a fire breaks out. Mark C. and Josh U are very professional and pleasant to deal with. I will definitely recommend JR Wagner Fire Protection for fire protection services. read more
