Thankfully I found William and his foreman Chris at Williams Fire Protection. He provided an honest quote same day. He provided the necessary designs and submitted over the counter in person with me to help accelerate the approvals. Then his foreman Chris came out immediately after design approval to finish the job in less than a day. I would highly recommend Williams Fire Protection if you find yourself needing C16 Fire Protection licensed contractors.

Honest, Competent, Polite, Efficient…read more Our sprinkler had been leaking, unknown to us, for years. Finally one day, a puddle appeared, and I was able to determine the source of the leak- a slow drip from one of the elbows on the orange CPVC pipe. It was buried in the ceiling, so I cut out a square around it to allow for easy access. Unless you find the idea of turning your house into an indoor water park attractive, I don't suggest attempting to repair CPVC sprinkler pipe yourself. It's not as easy as it looks. Don't ask how I know that. We called JR Wagner on a Sunday, and they suggested that if we could wait until Monday during business hours, rates would be much cheaper since it wouldn't be an emergency call. We took their advice and called back on Monday. We e-mailed them a picture as well as told them the size of the pipe, and the parts we thought were involved. They quoted us the price for the repair over the phone before work began so we knew what we were getting into. That same morning, Foreman John arrived promptly, got right to work, and explained the repairs that he made when he was finished. He was extremely kind, polite, and a pleasure to talk to. The repairs he made appeared to be of the highest quality and it looks stronger than when it was new. It worked the first time, no leaks. You just can't put a price on the service they provide. It's fantastic. Thank you JR Wagner and John! We are dry and have the water running on the inside of the pipes like it's supposed to again thanks to you!

Anyway, he offered to replace all my sprinklers on top of replacing the leaking one. His crews work was fantastic!!! They were the best people you could interact with and very professional. I detected a leak from one of their sprinklers about a week later and they came over immediately and fixed it. About a month later I discovered a leak, and again called them around 5pm I think (I live in the Bay Area), and by 7pm!!! their technician "James", was at our home working on the problem. He discovered it was not a sprinkler problem, rather I had a leaking roof. He was right and the roof company has fixed that problem. Follow up service at 7pm driving from Modesto to the Bay Area!!! Incredible service and greatest follow up!

Yesterday it was for window washing (1st time) and power washing (2nd time). Fast and good work as always! Donnie always gives me a fair price and was willing to work with me when bundling services. No, he's not the cheapest, but 1) you get what you pay for, and 2) he gets it done ASAP--I called another company before just for a comparison quote, and they said it would be two weeks before they could do it--Five Star came in under two days! I would deduct a quarter star only because they forgot to mention they accidentally broke one of the outer window trims on a garage window --it was very brittle from facing the dry afternoon sun for 20 years, so I completely understand; just wish they had mentioned it. I added that quarter star back because upon arrival, Jerry the foreman pointed out that one of the front screens was busted from age/sun and offered to replace it for a great price--important when selling a house! For many years, I have used Five Star for gutter cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, screen replacement, outdoor window cleaning and power washing--and they're just as good as ever. Thanks!
