He was thorough, professional, and most importantly knew exactly what he was looking at. The Paradigm Persona 5F speakers were not your typical repair request, and he understood that immediately. He treated them for what they are, high end furniture that plays music, and approached the assessment accordingly. He gave me two options, a spot repair on site or a full shop repair with better results. He was upfront that the shop repair was the right call, multi day, multi coat work that requires the proper environment to do it justice. That kind of honesty from someone who could have easily taken the quicker job says a lot about his integrity and his craft. You can tell immediately that he knows what he's doing. Casey made the work appear professional at first, but during the very first storm after installation, the skylight leaked so badly that water was pouring into the house. The situation was severe enough that our paying guests stated the home was unusable and checked out early because of the amount of water coming in. We immediately sent a licensed roofer to inspect the work. The roofer took photos and confirmed the skylight was installed incorrectly and not properly sealed at all. Basic, standard waterproofing steps were skipped entirely. This was not a materials issue. It was poor workmanship. We contacted Casey multiple times with the documentation and the urgency of the situation. He did not respond, did not offer to fix the problem, and took zero responsibility. He simply avoided us. No follow up. No accountability. Completely unprofessional behavior. This caused us lost rental income, additional repair costs, and unnecessary stress. The sink was a drop in sink in a tiled countertop. Serge arrived this morning, on time, and was very friendly and professional. I had attempted to turn off the angle stops, but the hot water valve seemed frozen. The handle wouldn't easily turn and I was afraid to put too much pressure on it for fear of creating and even bigger problem. So, I turned the water off, in order to remove the supply hoses to the faucet and remove the faucet. In discussing this with Serge, he stated that sometimes applying a little force will break the 'seal' and allow the valve to be closed. At that point, I felt I was probably going to have to call a plumber to replace the valve, so I had nothing to lose. He broke it free and the valve seated properly with no leaking. In my view, Serge saved me a tremendous amount of hassle, not to mention a lot of money. Now, as to the refinishing job done on our sink this picture says it all! The variations of 'color' in the picture are due to lighting and shadows resulting from the lighting. The sink is totally bright white! He did a fabulous job and we are extremely pleased with the result! ReNew's price was quite a bit lower than the other quote I received.
