This butcher shop has a strong rapport with the community and I think that is much to do with the Randazzo's attention to detail as well as bringing that Italian family warmth to each customer. My family has been enjoying these meats for many years and I recommend them to any friends or coworkers that live in Brooklyn. My favorite cut is a juicy ribeye steak and they are perfectly marbled every time. The chicken cutlets are thinly sliced and fry to perfection. Do yourself a favor and try parkway meats, I guarantee you'll be coming back for years. P.S I always go to Nick, not only will he cut your meat but he'll give you a good laugh too. What a mahoo!

While the ambience of the shop was not so great...the butcher made the ground beef from a fresh piece of a cow..he trimmed the meat and then ground it. Staubitz Market is one of those places that makes you appreciate old New York. I love coming here…read morefor the quality of the meat, the knowledgeable and friendly staff, and especially the old-fashioned atmosphere. It feels like a Brooklyn institution, with a history and character that you simply don't find in many places anymore. In a city that changes so quickly, Staubitz is a real treasure, and I hope it remains part of the neighborhood for generations to come. I also want to encourage everyone to support Staubitz (and the other small businesses on Court Street) right now. Our stupid and dishonest government recently reduced Court Street to one lane for cars (and the city blatantly lied by saying businesses on Court Street asked for this). The changes have suddenly made it extremely difficult for customers and deliveries, putting additional pressure on neighborhood businesses like this. Court Street has become a horrible mess. These longtime local businesses need our support. Now is a particularly good time to shop there.
