I've used this young man service in the past, apparently he has lower his standards in 2025. I called him on Thursday to set up an appointment for Friday at 9am. Friday comes he's late so I call him to see if he's still coming for him to tell me he's running 40 minutes late and the price of my bathroom socket is going to cost $80 dollars and total price for his service will be $250, smh. I did a search for price of socket and the cost at Home Depot is $19 this person Chris is overpricing and being very unprofessional by not showing up or even calling . I will never use his company or his service ever again and suggest future customers beware. read more

We recently had C.A. Renovations complete a door frame arch in our apartment and we couldn't be happier with the job they did. The original doorway was just an open rectangle with a standard door frame. We had to have the frame removed in order to get some appliances through and decided to have it redone as an arch to match the other open doorways in our apartment. Everything about my initial review stands true - he is awesome to work with. Super communicative, punctual efficient, affordable, and high quality workmanship. We also had a small miscommunication that I thought was worth highlighting as the outcome was positive - after the quote process and once we already started work, we realized he thought I only need *one* stair re-finished rather than the whole staircase... However, he handled it perfectly - told me when he could be back to finish, and what the cost would be (clarifying that it wouldn't be the cost of the 1 stair x 13 more, thank god). Cris took on two very different home improvement projects and managed them on time, on budget and with high quality craftsmanship. All hugely appreciated. One was replacing the backsplash in a custom kitchen. The other was repairing bamboo flooring after water damage. He wisely was able to add wood glue to parts where the wood separated so I didn't have to replace those sections. Which was a thoughtful, efficient solution others didn't think of. The backsplash replacement came out beautifully and he took extra care to make sure everything went smoothly. He also recommended a more efficient tile store to help save on the project. But it went pretty smoothly and the work was really good! The price was competitive and there were no issues regarding payment. Cris turned around my rental condo to my great satisfaction. He and his men painted the whole place, replaced lighting fixtures, installed smoke alarms, plus carried out minor fixes and repairs throughout the apartment. The quality of the work was excellent and he didn't rush through the job. Instead, he took all my feedback and made things even better. When the building management demanded that the contractor I hired be EPA-certified for the paint job (a ridiculous request because the building is fairly new), Cris went ahead and got the certification.
