Located in Chinatown, this shop is for to go orders only. It has a deli feel to it. So not much by way of Ambiance. The food is so good. It is definitely one of my top Banh Mi places. Everyone was very nice and the food comes out quickly

First timer. Only came in to grab a coffee for hubby after dim sum. Not a vast menu. Coffee was good but since I didn't have any of their food I can't make a full assessment.

Best banh mi ever. It's a legit bakery, so the bread is perfectly crunchy and warm. The mix of combination deli meat and pickled carrot and daikon is classic. They're quick and it's affordable.

This is our go to banhmi place when we are in Orlando. The meat portion is just right especially with the pickled veggies and jalapeño. We usually get the original and grill pork. The bread is crispy and soft in the inside. I think it is a family own shop all the aunties and grandmas making the sandwiches. Service is quick. Its a mom and pop shop very simple with food items pictures on the wall. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Beside the way they speak, loud and kinda belittling to each other, I don't mind cause it wasn't towards me. I order the Banh mi cha lua and I thought they will skimp on the cha lua, so I order extra meat. Omg, it was stuffed. I was going to eat it at the airport but I waited until I got home. It was decent. The sandwich was like 10in h long and heavy. The Banh tieu was good too. I think it was $1.50 for extra meat. Attached is a picture but ignore the bread. I was on an airplane for 5hrs before I could it eat.

This place is a solid! It's the best way to describe this place in one word. The prices are affordable, the quality of bread is fantastic, nice and warm and crispy at the same time, and the amount of meat they put in their sandwiches is just right. I actually feel like I'm eating more stuffing sometimes than bread ratio. You can't go wrong. Their special combo banh mi is awesome. It's not like straight up white mayo that they use, nor is the sandwich flat or dry. Just thinking about this sandwich makes me want to go back for more! If you're looking for a straight up, non fusion, straight-to-the-point banh mi that won't disappoint, do come here. It seems like a small establishment at first but don't let that fool you. You're in for a satisfying meal.

This is my second time visiting this spot. I went with a coworker about four years ago and it was still the same experience. The sandwiches are very fresh and delicious. We got the Banh Mi Bac Diet and the Bahn Mi with grilled pork. The vegetables were super fresh, the bread was super fresh and you can see it cooking in front of you! All the meats were delicious. The customer service was very friendly and my order also came out fast. It was a great experience and I would recommend anyone who's never had a bahn mi to try out this restaurant !

The Bánh Mis here were well stuffed and had various options to choose from. Enjoyed them no didn't feel super heavy after eating. The iced coffee confused me at first. I was confused as to why I the cup came with ice filled to almost the brim and coffee not even filled all the way up. But I later realized that having that much ice is necessary given how strong and thick the coffee is. It was super strong with heavy cream I think in it, which made for a wonderful iced coffee.

Who doesn't love carbs or bánh mì?! Out of all the locations in this city for this short baguette with thin, crisp crust and soft, airy texture inside with savory ingredients, this is my family's go to spot. Bread is fresh and tasty. We always order the bánh mì đặc biệt or in other words, the combination. Love how they make their own bread. They have a special if you buy ten, you get one free.

Does this shop have wheat bread? Some banh mi shops in Cali actually do something like that. Hoping this shop has it. Thanks.

No I do not think the store has wheat bread. I believe they only have white bread (baguette). I have not asked for it and have not seen them serve it.

Are there any vegetarian banh mi available or if not, is there anything to eat for a vegetarian?

The beef stew was easily the standout--rich, flavorful, and the beef was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. The vermicelli noodles were just as impressive. Just reminiscing about it makes my mouth water. The "Shaking Beef" was served over white rice (highly recommend), and every bite was better than the last. The garlic butter sauce really takes it over the top. Don't be fooled by the Orange Chicken--Boneless chicken, fried perfectly and coated in their authentic sweet orange sauce. The best Orange Chicken in town, hands down. No chance of leftovers here--you won't want to put your fork down.

Every spoonful delivered a perfect balance of savory spices and comforting warmth. The beef was tender ano plentiful, while the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños allowed me to customize each bite exactly to my taste. This place stays busy, especially during lunch and dinner hours, so expect a little wait during peak times. The dining room can get packed and lively, but that just adds to the energy. The pho is the main draw. When the broth is on point, it's rich, aromatic, and deeply comforting -- exactly what you want in a solid bowl of phở. The portions are generous, noodles are cooked well, and the fresh herbs and bean sprouts round everything out nicely. Their combination pho is a safe choice, and the vermicelli bowls and rice plates are great alternatives if you're not in a soup mood. That said, the broth can sometimes be a little inconsistent in flavor. Some visits it's bold and perfectly balanced; other times it may lean lighter and need a bit of extra lime or sauce to adjust to your taste. There's not enough street food places out there! One of my biggest complaints is that there isn't…read moreenough places that serves street food. I think any time you go to a restaurant that serves a type of ethnic cuisine, they focuses on the main or big dishes. For example, Vietnamese restaurants will always feature pho somehow and Cuban restaurants will always feature the Cuban sandwich in some capacity. However, street food or dishes that are small and meant for grab and go and sharing and to be affordable is not often featured at big sit down restaurants. The other thing is when street food is featured on a fancy sit down menu, the small plates and street food always cost more than it should in my opinion. Z Asian really surprised me in that I didn't think the prices were to unfair and it still felt elevated. They are a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. We went here for a date night after watching Obsession. By the way, the movie is one of the best horror movies of this year in my opinion and I think a lot of people's opinion. We parked in the back lot as they don't really have a whole lot of street parking. That was confusing entering the restaurant since we entered from the back and it wasn't clear if the restaurant was open or if we walked in through the wrong door. We got seated fast and the waitress was really nice and engaging. We ordered banh khot, which is basically a mini banh xeo. Banh khot is an eggy crepe mixture that is panfried into a circle and a small amount of seafood is placed into the middle of it. It's small and finger food sized and served with pickled veggies and fresh lettuce and fish sauce to drizzle or dip. My rating is a 9.5/10. It was crispy and full of flavor. We also tried the mango tofu salad. It's similar to a ceviche. This was a 9/10. It has a little heat to it but very good and not too wet. We then ordered grilled mussels with is what it sounds like. It's mussels halves grilled with fish sauce and crushed peanuts sprinkled on top. I rate this a 8/10. I never see this in restaurants. On a good day, I can crush like 20 of these and call it girl dinner. We got the grilled corn as well. This is corn kernels grilled in butter and garlic topped with Sriracha. I rate this a 6.5/10. I think it's a good street dished but it underwhelmed me because it's just the corn and there wasn't a vehicle to deliver it to my mouth. The last item we tried was the grilled chicken rice noodles. This was a flavorful dish of veggies and chicken and rice noodles that are cooked in a pan. The rating is a 8.5/10. My overall rating is 9/10. They bill was on the higher end but I felt like it was worth the food we were eating the service and ambiance.
