Talk about fresh!! Scaling fish in the kitchen before cutting it. That. Is. Awesom.

Probably one of the best meals I've had. We ordered calamari, a burger, & salmon. All of this was 10/10. And for my son, free range chicken tenderloins and chip. The atmosphere is great. They had some live music to keep us entertained. Even the bathroom was clean! This place is a must to check out if you are in Byron Bay!

Best brekky spot in Byron we've been to. Many tasty and creative Vegan options, farm sourced local ingredients and funky atmosphere. There are a couple options for meat lovers too. I went for Byron balance: soft poached eggs, avocado, feta, fresh salsa verde over sour dough bread with a lovely flat white. Wholesome, fresh and full of natural flavours. A must try if staying in Byron

100000% do not miss when in Byron!!! From the fresh flowers for sale to the beachside live music.... this place was incredible so tasteyyyyyyy wowza. Pal had the chicken salad special which she said was amaze, and I had the Balinese curry which was a massive cauldron of deliciousness and couldn't even finish!!! Would love to come back and try the rest of the goodness one day.

Next time we're in Byron, we're probably... Actually, we'll very likely be having breakfast here everyday. The guys at Byron Fresh pride themselves on using fresh ingredients, superfoods, free range and organic produce. Their aim is to focus on a healthy lifestyle and keep Byron fresh, and this is reflected in their food. I had the Byron Balanced w/ smoked salmon and it was really nice. The guys next to us ordered a fruit platter and it delicious. Actually, everything looked good. There's also a good selection of bread and pastries that you can grab on the go. Even though it was busy, we managed to score a table outside which was great. The staff are really nice and friendly. The place is rustic but really pretty and it has an amazing vibe and atmosphere - a perfect way to start your day or end your night (yes.. they do dinner!). If you are ever in Byron, check it out... You'll be glad you did!

Great laid back wood n rustic does it feel kind of place. Byron Bay offers plenty of places to eat but not in this class. There are pub type eateries, smaller take aways, but not too many nice looking cafes. Most meals are near $20 and over which for a pulled pork lunchtime sandwich is expensive as is a scooner for $8. Presentation was nice as was the service and all the meals looked well crafted, with some laid back flair and pride. It's hard to walk past it because it looks inviting and I'm only sorry I didn't test them on their coffee.

The Haloumni roll with scrambled eggs

Went there in the morning for breakfast after the Bluesfest. Got seated immediately but later it got more crowded and you had to wait. Ordered the Haloumni roll and changed the included fried egg to scrambled eggs - it was soooo delicious! My friends ordered just the scrambled egg on bread but even that was very delicious. The cappuccino was made with love and my friends who live in Italy were satisfied - that means something! Cappuccino and the meal was $20 - it's definitely worth it!

Hot cakes and sourdough toast with haloumi and avo

What a lovely cafe! Stopped by this morning for brekkie and will definitely be back. I ordered the hot cakes which were out of this world! Topped with blueberries, strawberries, mascarpone cheese, and drizzled with a caramel sauce. So decadent and so delicious I wish I could eat them every day. I also had sourdough toast with avocado and haloumi cheese which was really good as well. I reckon everything on their menu is pretty tasty. Service was on point and ambiance is very relaxed. Definitely a must whenever you're in Byron!

Awesome spot for dinner. Nice relaxed and romantic ambience, great for couples, fantastic healthy food and not super expensive. We really enjoyed our meal here. Will visit next time in Byron!

    Iced coffee and croissant special

Let's face it - the cafe is in the core of Byron Bay so it is pricey (eg $10 for a smoothie!) Having said that, the venue was charming and the food was fresh and tasty. I had the croissant special with poached egg, haloumi and rocket.

The Bangalow roll I had for breakfast - bacon, egg, rocket salad in a sourdough bun. What more could you ask for?

Food here is awesome! This is indeed a gem to find in Byron Bay! They open all day from 730am to 11pm with live music most nights. My wife and I enjoyed our dinner here so much that we came back for breakfast next morning!

Unfortunately pretty bland zucchini fritters and halloumi burgers, not the best for vegos. Nice range of juices though!

OK so normally I don't like these trendy super-schmick kinds of places (of which Broadbeach has…read moremany) but the food here was REALLY REALLY good. And this is a burger place. And I'm a vegan. I was vacationing on the Gold Coast with my parents, and we went in here for dinner on a whim because we were dressed pretty casually and they looked a little more forgiving of boardshorts and flip-flops than the other trendy dinner spots nearby. At first I had my reservations about whether or not I could eat anything here, but when I told the manager I was vegan, he didn't even bat an eye. He said they have two veggie burgers on the menu, neither of which uses egg in the binder. He volunteered this information on his own -- I didn't even have to ask, which definitely shows he's knowledgeable about veganism, because most restaurant proprietors have no clue that a lot of veggie burgers use egg. There are two veggie burgers -- the Eats Roots and Leaves ($14.50, red lentil and chickpea patty with coleslaw and tomato relish) and the Magic Mushroom ($12, mushroom patty with lettuce, red peppers, feta, and garlic ailoi). He told me the Magic Mushroom could be made vegan without the feta and aioli, but I'm not a mushroom fanatic so I opted with the Eats Roots and Leaves, which was DELICIOUS. All the flavours just melded together perfectly, and the patty stayed together perfectly, no crumbling. The bun wasn't too scratchy or hard (like some burger buns in Oz are) and it was a very filling dinner with a side of fries for under $20. My parents also enjoyed their (meaty) burgers and fries. Make no mistake, this place is a drinking establishment too -- as evidenced by their splashy cocktail and wine list, and the raucous (possible hen's party) group of women enjoying their bevvies next to us. So you don't have to have a meal here to enjoy this place (although the food really is great.) The atmosphere is...well, Broadbeach. Trendy, shiny, and all those other adjectives. A splashy mural was painted on one wall, depicting a typical Gold Coast beach scene (including bikini-clad maidens and ibis stealing food), and some of the seating areas had swings suspended from the ceiling as chairs! I wanted to sit at a table with swings, but my parents weren't keen and the hen's party swooped in and seized them anyway. The place is buzzing, it's trendy, it's very Broadbeach-y -- but the food is delicious and it's a fun place, and I love that they are so accommodating for vegans.

Who doesn't like a good burger? And who doesn't like a good bar? Nobody worth knowing, that's who…read more And here we have a burger bar, combining the very best of both. Tucked away in the swanky strip of bars and restaurants along Oracle Boulevard in Broadbeach, this place is a pleasant surprise. Pleasant because it's welcoming and hip at the same time - not an easy trick to pull off - and surprising because the food is actually reasonably priced while also being delicious. I like everything about this joint. For a start, there's a wide array of seating to suit just about any group. Tables inside and out to suit parties of all sizes, a couple of comfy couches, an actual bar with bar stools in case you're on your own, and even a few swing seats hung from the ceiling (haven't seen that before). The bar is well stocked with an excellent array of beers from the crafty to the usual suspects, and a wine list of similar merit sits comfortably alongside what looks a handy offering of cocktail choices for those that way inclined. I enjoyed the 'Cow Pig Cow' burger but there's one for every taste, including fish and vegie options, and other nibblies for those not in the burger mood. Get there.
