I have taken a boxing class, several Muay Thai classes and a few Fight classes. I didn't know what to expect from the fight class. (The only guys I fought in my 20's were drunk guys at bars) The motto in Fight Class is don't hit anyone harder than you want to be hit. I enjoyed the fight classes and will go to more as I progress. There are several instructors here and each have their own ways to run the class.. focusing on different things. Some are tougher on you mentally, while others are tougher on you physically. The classes are mixed in both age and gender. So whether you are male or female, old or young you will learn how to fight and or defend yourself here. The pricing is reasonable. You can go month to month or by the year. You will sweat. Bring a towel and a couple bottles of water.

Sim is…read morea 4th or 5th degree black belt and you won't know it because he doesn't wear his stripes on his belt. He's probably the most humble BJJ professor I've ever met. I've never heard him talk down to anyone and he talks to EVERYONE with respect and kindness. He also still competes and wins! He has a group of competitors that smashes the competition and still so humble. The atmosphere when you step into the school/gym is chill vibes. You don't have to wear certain color gi's or the school gi. The team is awesome also, everyone is cool and chill. No one's trying to prove themselves and hurting other teammates. They're also great teammates by helping and giving advice. To me, I feel more like a family member than just another number coming in the doors. I have random conversations with Sim and it's not always about jiu jitsu. He cares about everyone and everyone's growth. There's a good amount of classes and several different times of day so more people can train accordingly to their busy schedules, Gi and no Gi. Ive met so many amazing people here from law enforcement to doctors, nurses, and other professionals of all ages and backgrounds. It's close to the 215 and rainbow so quick access to the freeway. There's a clean restroom and also clean showers! A lot of people come in their lunch break and then shower before they go back to work, super convenient! I definitely recommend this school/gym to everyone young and old, male or female, and they have a great kids class also! The price of membership is also less than majority of the schools in Vegas and not as good. Try a class and then sign up for 6 months (best deal & free gi) or just drop in when visiting. Today's class had about 10-12 black belts visiting from Japan, Ireland, and other places.

Having a teenage daughter (13 yo) that likes to stay in her bubble is a challenge. During summer…read morebreak, I wanted to find an activity that will get her active physically and mentally. It wasn't easy finding a place that tailors to teenagers (youth) since most of the martial arts businesses I've researched had smaller kids or adults. And to find a place that had some female students so that my daughter can easily relate with (girl standpoint). Long story short, the very first day of class, she had a huge meltdown outside of the studio not wanting to go through with it. There were a couple older kids who helped talk to her, calm her down, and pretty much "handheld" her into trying the class. Thankfully she got through it. Big thanks to John, Caesar, Bianca, and Stephanie. You guys are awesome! Fast forward 6 months later, my daughter has made new friends and has gained a lot more confidence. She enjoys coming to class especially when Sensei Dave teaches (the buff one haha). She says he's funny and cool. But actually everyone helps out, which is nice. Tip *** the studio gets extremely crowded once a class has ended. Just wait for a about 5-10 mins after and seats should open up.

We bought the 20 classes for $250 pass because we can't take full advantage of all the classes in a month yet. His first few days they let him borrow gloves and shin pads which was nice. We started bringing in our own. We never felt pressured to buy any of the merch they sell which is always a plus. They have more than Muay Thai here. It's a great place for kids and adults wanting to try various forms of martial arts or just to work on their strength training.
