Since Las Vegas is known for circus arts and I do aerial workouts, Aerial Essentials was definitely on my list to check out! It's just about a 10-minute Uber ride from the Strip, but we were a little surprised when we arrived--it's more like a warehouse than a typical retail store. The display area is small, but there's still a decent selection of aerial gear to browse. The staff were super friendly and happy to answer our questions, especially when it came to certain tools we weren't familiar with. One thing I really appreciated was the fabric color display--it's so helpful to see the colors in person if you're picky about shades (like me!). They also had different types of swivels and carabiners laid out, which made it much easier to compare options side-by-side. Having the actual equipment right in front of you really helps when you're trying to decide. There were also a few aerial books available to flip through, which was a nice bonus. Just a heads-up though--this isn't a shopping destination in the traditional sense. Don't expect a full retail experience. It's more of a spot to check out gear you might be unsure about, ask questions, or pick up an order to save on shipping. If you're into aerial arts and want to see equipment in person, it's definitely worth a quick visit while you're in Vegas! read more

I bought from aerial skills, shortly after receiving their product, because of safety reasons it was not recommended I install it where I expected, so i had to return brand new. However to my surprise, the store didn't accept returns. Money thrown into the trash... read more

Flat-rate shipping, great selection of anything and everything an aerialist could need. I only needed hoop tape, but wow, they really do have every color! They ship quickly and efficiently. All the hardware and rigging, every apparatus, even rigs to fly on! My friend did a a lot of research into rigging equipment, and she recommended Aerial Essentials. I will likely have more detail after I get my rig and start to expand my collection of apparatuses, but so far so good! read more

I called customer service twice, and I received two very different personalities. One seemed well versed but a bit annoyed, and the other was more versed in Lyra but was very nice. Based on their advice, their website, and an aerialist I personally know -- I finally decided to buy my very first silk for a gig. I also bought a span set as well as the complete set, which included rigging hardware along with the silk. I ordered Thursday and it arrived so quickly on the following Tuesday. My silk arrived so beautifully. I am in love. It has a perfect low stretch, good quality silk, and easy to grip, climb, etc. I especially appreciate the rigging instructional videos on aerial essentials. Everything you need to know is on their site. read more

Poor customer service. My daughter purchased from here and they were inflexible to help her get the right equipment. Yes, it was after 30 days which is their policy but have a heart and help a 13 year old out. The manager wouldn't even speak to us. read more

Ordered my silks online and they are STUNNING! Perfect color with beautiful sheen! It only took about a full day for it to process, and exactly 2 days to ship. It was FAST. I am so excited to finally be able to practice at home! It is so worth it to order from a company who specializes in aerial arts. It makes me feel safe knowing that I received a quality product. read more

THANK YOU AE!!! I just got my red straps and they are so vibrant & beautiful! Can't wait to train on them first thing this weekend. Aerial Essentials has been incredible, especially when it comes to shipping their merchandise. The one time I had to make changes, there was absolutely no problems, and the quality of the merchandise has also been top-notch. Other companies could learn a little something from this company when it comes to customer service. They're consistently THAT good. read more

These people are great! I am given a sense of security when shopping with Aerial Essentials. Their staff and website are incredibly knowledgable, and super helpful when you're not quite sure what the best piece of equipment might be for your needs. I love their rigging diagrams and videos, and the prices are comparable to other similar retailers. When I shop here, I know I got the right thing, and I know there is someone out there willing to help right away, if I get lost somewhere along the way :) Thanks AE! read more

Love Aerial Essentials product quality, and customer service. I was introduced to Aerial Silks in a play I was in and I fell in love with it. I was recommended to Aerial Essentials, where I purchased my first set of silks. The shipping was fairly fast, and the customer service was excellent. I just recently contacted them with a question about when I purchased and Erin responded back super fast and was very gracious! I 100% recommend this company. :) read more

Aerial Essentials - My Aerial Essentials Silks! - Sporting Goods Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Aerial Essentials is a wonderful store and site, I buy all of my silks from them. Although I would recommend not buying there aerial hardware, (rescue eights, rotators, and carabiners) not because of defects or that they are not well made, but rather they are expensive and you could find everything for much cheaper on amazon or a hardware store. There silks on the other hand are VERY nice and stay beautiful and colorful for years, this store is the cheapest (for how well the silk is made) and easiest way to get silks in my opinion. read more

Havent got the product yet but just the fact that It said within 4 or 5 days to be delivered but ups says it's going to take double the time is a little frustrating. Thank god I ordered early. read more

I work in the aerial acrobatic field and have for many years now. Many of my co-workers have recommended Aerial Essentials for their quality equipment which is why they are getting 3 stars. Now why they aren't getting 5 stars is their customer service is not good at all. In fact, they haven't given any customer service to me at all. I am having an issue getting any response back for a simple question on shipping and processing for an indoor aerial rig I ordered. I have left 2 emails and have called numerous times and have left a voicemail on their machine, NO RESPONSE/PICK UP. I just feel if you want to run a quality business your customer satisfaction should be your number 1 priority. Honestly I am very disappointed with my experience thus far, expected a lot more :( will be taking purchases to another merchant in the future. read more

No one answers the phone or even returns calls. The yelp page shows that they open saturday from 10:00-2:00, and i drove 45 mins just to make it at 12:30, and they were closed. The ppl next door informed me that they open mon-fri. i called friday at 1:30 no answer and no one returned my call. so inconvenient. I had to pay the taxi for the nothing. Money waisted. I was so looking forward to buying my silks and rigging from here because im opening up a studio, but this experience really put me off. read more

I love Aerial Essentials! As a studio owner with not a clue how much silk I needed for my Aerial Hammocks, i was able to get a LIVE person on the phone who helped me right then and there. I was searching for so long for something to help me advance in pole dancing. I knew I had the strength but had issues with grip. My husband was unsure of my strength. I ordered the pole wrap, installed it 3 days later and that night of pole dance was able to immediately do advanced moves. Can focus on other things instead of grip. Super fast shipping and I am now a repeat customer. Will definitely recommend to anyone who asks me how I progressed so quickly. My husband is also a believer of pole wrap now. read more

I'm reviewing silks here, haven't got to visit the studio! I ordered some medium stretch plum-colored silks in a custom yardage and they arrived quickly. I recently ordered a couple yards of silk for conditioning at home, which arrived super quickly and are absolutely perfect! The navy color is really gorgeous. This is the third time I have used Aerial Essentials and they are GREAT! The products are shipped THAT day. Very efficient! I have used their steel double lock carabiner and 4 ft span set and have been very pleased with the quality! I am new to the aerial world...and navigating the internet to FIND span set was very hard! I purchased the yoga hammock and 1 daisy chain to use with outdoor riggings (hung from tree limb). I got the low stretch fabric in aqua and it was exactly like the color on the website so I was happy about that. The only thing that I wish I had known ahead of time is that I would need more than one of their DAISY CHAINS. This made setting up the hammock outdoors quick and easy, although because I was using a tree branch I needed two of them so I could connect them to make the hammock higher or lower to the ground. I am short so hanging it from a sturdy enough branch on my tree meant that it was 4 feet off the ground and I had to jump up or use a ladder to get into it. After I ordered 3 more daisy chains I was able to easily adjust the height on the loops of the daisy chain. Using the chains also allowed me to spread the fabric out so that it allowed for easier movement without getting tangled up. My only complaint about this product is that until you get used to the motions of using it the low stretch fabric can at times dig into your body and be uncomfortable. The more I have used the yoga hammock though the less I have had this happen and now its not an issue at all. I highly recommend you read up on how to get into positions prior to trying this product as you will realize quickly how unprepared you are once you are up in the air. read more

I purchased the portable aerial rig and it's fantastic! The quality is superb, the customer service of Nicole and BeBe are top rate!

Aerial essentials went above and beyond with customer service. Also when comparing prices with other retailers I found they were consistently cheaper on every product. Don't even waste your time with anyone else. read more

My aerial silks teacher told me this is the best company out there for purchasing gear and silks. I trusted that when I purchased my first set of silks and hardware and loved what I got. Then I decided to create some rig points in my home and recently I started looking around for more hardware - trying to find an auto locking carabiner that was a bit smaller (for my very small hands) and just couldn't find what I wanted. I knew I liked the gear I got the first time so repurchased. To my amazing surprise, the new steel carabiners I received are WAY better designed for aerial and smaller and easier to manage! I dropped them a note letting them know how happy I was and then got the most amazingly sweet notes back, and learned that a lot of what I'm looking for (such as ways to shorten the hardware for ceilings not super high and a few other things) are also on their minds and they are working on developing and providing solutions aimed more for aerial arts instead of rock climbing. I'm so incredibly impressed with so many things about how well this company is run, the customer service, the positive energy they put out in communicating with customers. I highly highly recommend. Aerial Essentials is A CLASS ACT! read more

I always chose aerial essentials for any of my aerial needs because I can rely on them! I ordered a few carabiners but living in downtown Los Angeles they somehow never arrived in my mailbox although postal service marked them as arrived. I didn't know what to do so I contacted aerial essentials and spoke with Russell who was able to resend my entire order and help me out. I cannot begin to describe how happy I was to come across a company that truly cares about customer service. Although it was not their fault they made sure I received my hardware. Thank you so much aerial essentials- I will always chose you! read more

Aerial Essentials is absolutely the BEST resource for my aerial silks product needs. My teacher at Aerial Theory Fitness highly recommended them as a place for me to get my first silks rig. My order arrived promptly with a thicker fabric than I had worked on. I wasn't sure if they had sent me the correct product. I called up and talked to Cheetah who told me that they had replaced the prior fabric with this thicker, more durable product. I was hesitant to accept it at face value since I had been working on a much different feeling fabric. He told me he would see if they had any of the prior fabrics in the warehouse to ship to me. I could then use the new and old style fabrics side by side to compare. I received the old style and used it side by side with the new one like he suggested and realized he was right! I did like the new one better. It took some getting used to the thicker fabric but I felt more supported in all of my poses. I called him up and told him he was right and thanked him for giving me the opportunity to try the silks side by side. He was 100% positive, so happy to help me. I will only shop here for my aerial equipment from now on. The customer service was hands-down the best experience I have ever had. Thank you so much Cheetah! read more

Excellent turn-around on order with fast shipping helped me make a deadline. This company was recommended to me by an aerial artist needing equipment to do a workshop at my univeristy. The seamless online purchase I made was complicated by a hiccup in PayPal that led to me paying twice for my invoice. GREAT service from Aerial Essentials got the duplicate payment identified and refund to PayPal in quick order. THANKS. read more
