This place is just fantastic!! We need football pads because our son plays tackle and because we hadn't heard of Turf, we first went to Dicks... No one at Dicks was knowledgeable and it was very self serve. So, we got the wrong size and now out $150! Our Football coach told us not to waste time going back and to only go to TURF SPORTING GOODS!!! I called ahead and the call was so great. "Bring your son and we will get him professionally fitted." That was the kind of care we needed so our son was safe!! We walked in and met the nicest and most welcoming person. He cares about the kids and recommended the best equipment for our son and surprisingly, it wasn't the most expensive. Based on our son's body structure, his recommendation was a specific brand and style that matched his position. They have equipment for all kinds of sports and if you are in Vegas area, I can honestly say, this is the place to shop!! read more

Our son's catchers glove laces broke in two places on the pocket. We are in town visiting as we often are, and our son's baseball tournament is the following weekend. We were not going have time to get his glove released at home before the tournament due to our work schedules, so I figured we would stop by a local place here in Vegas to get it fixed. We came across Turf Sporting Goods on Yelp and figured we would give it a try. We were not disappointed. We came in and met the owner of the store. We explained the situation and that we were only in town for a few days. He was kind and offered to fix it while we are in town. When we came back to pick up the glove, it looked better than new. Our son is so happy! Not only that, when we came back to pick up the glove, the employees were so incredibly gracious and kind. They chatted with us and helped us get to know the company and what it does in the community. The commitment to supporting youth sports is impressive! We will definitely be shopping here and supporting this local business. They were wonderful, service was fabulous, and pricing was very fair and reasonable. Highly recommend! If your kid plays baseball or football, this is the place to buy their gear! read more

Love this little shop! They took care of all our football needs and were more than helpful!!

After striking out for football equipment at Big5, Dicks and another location, we came here. Let me tell you, Garret helped us right away and we (my son and I) couldn't have been happier. He ran around for us and truly went above and beyond. Garret and Turf sporting goods are assets to our community that we are so lucky to have. I'll be heading to Turfs from now on, first and I hope you will to! read more

Very helpful with great customer service. They also have very great prices for baseball pants as well!!! Always a first stop shop for sports equipment for me. read more

My son and I were looking for baseball pants. The girl there was assisting another customer and so is the older man. So we waited for like about 5 minutes. When the old man was done assisting his "white clients", we immediately approach him because we were in a hurry. The old man looked at me then my son up and down with like a smirk on his face. Or "disgust" is a better word. Was it because we are Asians? I'm Chinese. And there's a lot of Chinese people in this area. Then he told my son to wait for the other girl staff that was still assisting the other client. Needless to say, I'm never going back here. We went out with no baseball pants. I never felt so small and humiliated. Oh, by the way. I asked the girl who the old man was. I can't believe he was the owner!!! Asians, look elsewhere if you don't want to get humiliated. This old man is racist! read more

Carolyn is so sweet and helpful. The prices here are so reasonable, especially when you're buying for a team. Will be purchasing through them whenever we can. read more

We live in a small town about an hour away from Vegas, I needed 2 pairs of softball pants for my daughter that I couldn't find anywhere. I came across Turf Sporting Goods from a Google search. I decided to call and this super nice guy named Skylar answered my call, after checking to see if the items I was looking for were in stock (they weren't) he offered to order them, he also said it would only be a 1 week turn around. I was so happy to hear this! After calling him back a few times to double check colors with my daughters coach and such and thanks to Skylars patience we got the pants ordered. He even had me text him pics of one of them to ensure he was getting the right ones. The customer service of this store goes beyond expected. If you are shopping for sports uniforms, and other sporting goods you should call or stop by this store 1st! read more

Always great product, customer service and most importantly knowledge of the equipment needed and the different advantages and disadvantages of each product. My go to spot for my kids sports equipment read more

Store is a little unorganized and beat down. Alot of their football pads were older models and some aren't even made anymore. Just so dirty and unwelcoming. We got a football package there. The guy seems to be owner was helpful when it came to safety but man was he a impatient jerk when it came to my kid being in pain trying on new equipment for a new sport. He is playing football and the guy was just impatient in hitting his helmet, chinstrap etc. My son later told me he was scared of the guy. My husband did tell the women at the counter the guy was a jerk. She was nice. We needed more equipment so we decided to go to Sporting Co in Henderson and I wish we had went there the first time. Save your time and money and go to Sporting Co read more

Went to order my son's letterman jacket, the salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable and had a great attitude.

Not the best glove relacing facility. Didn't use original tanner laces. The lady didn't do the trap pattern correctly. I ended up having to redo it myself. read more

I needed custom tshirts for a sports camp. Turf was able to design our shirts in house and turn them around in a week. They were able to make the shirts in Youth and Adult sizes, which we needed, and is sometimes a lot harder to find than you would think. Great place to find baseball equipment! Reasonable in pricing. If they don't have it they can order.

I have visited this store twice in the last six months and each time I was VERY impressed with the level of customer service this business provides. As soon as My sons and I walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome and immediately asked what we could be helped with. 4 months ago I purchased a helmet for my oldest son, they fitted him properly, but unfortunately within a couple months my son said it was a little tight. I went to get the pads inside changed and was able to get that fixed up and fitted right away! They are awesome people and genuinely seem to care about there customers rare to find now a days! read more

I had called to verify that they carry a product. They told me they had it in stock. I went in there to buy a certain product, not only did they not have the said product but the women wouldnt even leave the front desk to help me. When I asked were fitting room was women was very rude and said I would show you.. Walk really fast to back into office past fitting room then got mad when I did sew it. Horrible dirty place and horrible customer service skills. read more

I highly recommend this place to anyone I talk too. read more

Horrible place in nasty part of town. Went in ready to spend three hundred dollars on softball equipment. Walked in with my all-star daughter and folks at the counter didn't even greet us - despite the entrance being near the counter and three people sitting there doing nothing. Well, they were doing something. They were giving us sour looks. Acted like we were ruining their day by coming in. Reluctant to help us. Said they didn't have what we needed without looking and then had the nerve to tell us we were SOL. Looking forward to spending my money at Extra Innings. read more

The guys working here were very helpful in assisting with purchasing my sons football gear. Good store!

I had heard of the store from many people had never been there. We needed team uniforms for boys football teams. The guys there were really great. They knew all about the rules for equipment and carried many products other than the really expensive stuff you see in big box stores. They added our logo and numbers and got it all done in only a few days. I will go back for sure. read more

That last review really surprises me. Doesn't sound real because I have worked with them for a long time and have had nothing but a great experience with custom uniforms. read more

Went there tonight to ask about purchasing custom uniforms for my kids basketball team. I was on the phone with the owner of the league I coach in trying to get all the details situated, and relay any information directly to him as I got it. The man behind the counter proceeded to scream at me that cell phones were not permitted in his store, and that I was to get the f*** out of his store! I was appaled at the level of un-professionalism. As a business owner, I feel that there is a way to ask nicely if you would like your CUSTOMER to not use their phone in your place of business. I told him that I would definitely not be purchasing my uniforms from his store now, and he told me to get the f*** out. There were other people in the store at the time, and we all looked very uncomfortably at each other, and I left. I would reccomend that you don't use this place if you own a cell phone. The sales clerk may scream obscenities at you, and besides, they apparently dont need money from consumers who own cell phones. read more

This was our 2nd time getting football gear from Turf Sporting Goods and the service has been fantastic both times. The guy that helped us was very patient and thorough when fitting my son with his helmet, pads and pants. I can't complain about the price either! They have a bundle deal for about $145. Thanks Turf Sporting Goods! read more

Great experience with Turf Sporting Goods to get my daughter's varsity letterman jacket. Carolyn was very nice and patient with us and had good recommendations for colors, patch placement, etc. She was particularly helpful in the sizing of the jacket. To top it off, although we were told it could be 6 weeks or so before the jacket would be ready, Carolyn called for us to pick up the jacket within 4 weeks. It turned out great and my daughter could not be happier. read more

Do not go to them they do NOT keep their word. I went to them in Aug 2016 to order our sons Letterman jacket which they told me it will be done in 6 weeks We paid for it all right there at the time of order 6 weeks came and on that day they told me they needed another 6 weeks because they had a problem with their fax machine Well I gave them the benefit of doubt and waited another 6 weeks At the end of that 6 weeks on that day they told me they made the jacket with the wrong colors they needed another 6 weeks to fix the problem and they will give us a 15% discount Well needless to say I believe them after that 6 weeks they finally told me they can't do the jacket and gave me back my money in January 2017. Bottom line you can't trust them to tell you the truth. NO STARS THEY DONT Deserve any the only reason why they got a star was because Yelp will not let me post without one star. read more
