Joining this Krav Maga community has been one of the best decisions I've made--it truly provides one of the most practical life skills anyone could learn in today's world. The training is effective, realistic, and empowering. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping you improve, no matter your level of experience. A special mention to their manager, Jezzica--she is simply the best! She goes above and beyond to make sure members are supported, and she's always willing to work with you based on your personal needs. That kind of dedication and care is rare and very much appreciated. Overall, this gym isn't just about fitness or self-defense--it's about building confidence, discipline, and valuable life skills. I can't recommend it highly enough! read more

I submitted a request for class information about a year ago. I didn't hear back for months. Summer of 2025 approached and I was continuously harassed via text, call, voicemail and email about my inquiry. Not just once, I'm talking weeks of constant badgering. I was initially very interested, but the lack of professionalism I experienced makes me never want to step foot at this business. It felt as though they were desperate for business so that's when my inquiry mattered. I'll politely give them 3 stars, simply because I did not experience their class first hand. read more

Both our kids go here and they love it! We love the style of instruction and how the focus is all about how to get out of a "bully-situation." They focus on defense skills consisting of strikes, grappling, getting out of a choke, and more! Their instructor staff to include Steve, Steve (glasses), and On are totally awesome and motivating. They are great and patient with kids! Both my kids have improved their confidence because of these courses and skills. If you want to improve your child's self-confidence, this is the place. I highly recommend. read more

My daughter has been attending the little warrior classes for 6 months now, and she, my wife, and I love Nomad. The staff is great, Jezzica, Nadia, Melvin, and David are all great instructors and take their time to work with you one on one to improve your technique. We recently signed up for another 6 months as I have seen my daughter gain self confidence, is more assertive, and feels more confident on what to do if she encounters a negative situation. My wife and I were motivated enough that we took a two day family self-defence workshop, and we loved it. If you are looking for a family-friendly martial arts gym, Nomad is the place. read more

Love this place!!! My kids were attacked by another teen. My daughter was really hurt and pass out during the attack. We had the video police couldn't do anything. Whatever kids go through right now it is difficult, unfortunately victims request help from adults but they don't get it. Nomad Krav Maga provides self defense, give our kids the opportunity to believe in themselves again, and the security that they know how to defend themselves as a last resource. I love the fact they tough both of my kids you can only use those techniques when you don't have escape, you only have to use to stop momentarily the attacker and run to safety. Nomad Krav Maga is the latest to join the Syndicate gym family: now krav, MMA, and crossfit can all be found under one roof! I recently attended intro classes on krav and self defense (knife skills and hostage avoidance) and received a tour of their facilities. The staff are friendly and the classes are practical, with reality-based drills and krav-based skills. Unfortunately, our reality is one in which self defense skills are a necessity these days and the only way you will know what to do in a dangerous situation is to practice for it. Shannon creates a safe and positive environment in which to do it, with a welcoming and down to earth atmosphere. They also have women's programs to ease into their style of workouts, coupled with a nutrition program. If you're interested in joining, they have lunchtime and evening classes and new member specials. There's a three-day trial available to test it out and see if it's for you. Their location is pretty far from my home and work, so I will not be able to do more than occasionally pop in- but if you're in the SW area, give them a try. read more

I found Nomad Krav Maga in 2017. I knew that I wanted to delve into this amazing mixed martial art after I felt the need to expand outside of just what a "cardio kickboxing" gym offered. This is not a cardio kickboxing gym. This is legimately a Krav Maga school that offers the best self defense instruction in Las Vegas. Nomad Krav Maga integrates all things related to functional, practical, and everyday situational awareness experiences. The art itself involves many arts including Muay Thai, Boxing, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu and more, as well as Straight Street! - which includes knife defense, stick work, and instruction in firearms training as an option, as well. As a native New Yorker, born and raised in NYC, situational awareness and everyday street smarts is essential to have. It's particularly innate to me, which is why I love this work so much because of its well-rounded balance of all things life. There is no ego and no intimidation anywhere in this environment, which may be commonly seen in other martial arts schools - but not at Nomad! Instructors and students are both very supportive and encouraging. You will truly learn so much and still be able to find the joy in being in this atmosphere where you will gain everything you need to go forth with every day life and every day travel with confidence in any situation or public space. Protecting yourself and your loved ones and those around you will be your secret superpower. I can't speak more highly of what this work has done to enrich my life energetically, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. As a practicing wholistic physical therapist and doctor of physical therapy who values, treats all ages, and teaches others about mind/body wellness and self awareness in a multitude of ways, this has been an integral piece of what has brought me joy and given me a humble pride in being a student of this work. I highly recommend Nomad Krav Maga. Check out their schedule and see how you could create this time for YOU to learn this valuable work! Much gratitude to the team of instructors including owner Shane Langwell who has been very supportive throughout my journey! read more

I started Krav Maga in early 2022. Shannon and the team took me in and made me feel at home. The conditioning class is a great way to get in shape and feel burns like no other. Along with learning the techniques in punching, the community is fantastic! Additionally, the striking class was excellent. Taking what you learned and sparring in a controlled environment is nice. If you have a partner that matches your intensity, you are in for a treat. I highly recommend Nomad if you want to learn how to self-defend and be a part of an amazing team. read more

I've been training here for well over a year now and it's always a GREAT experience. The integration of various forms of combat within the Krav Maga system is truly genius. read more

It's evident that Shannon loves Krav Maga! He teaches with confidence! Cynthia works up front! She is pleasant and I Tio if her stuff! Love her! They are extremely affordable! Been going to Nomad for several years now. It has changed my life! I'm now more confident defending myself and my loved ones. Shannon, the owner and Lead Instructor is fantastic! He never stops looking for ways to improve Nomad. And Cynthia, his wife, is one of the sweetest and nicest of people I've ever met. The name says Krav Maga, but it is so much more than that! Shannon not only teaches Krav Maga, but incorporates kickboxing, boxing, grappling/Jiu-Jitsu, knife and stick defense, gun tactics, Muay Thai, and there are probably another few elements Shannon, I'm sure, would remind of. And it's just not Shannon and his regular instructors who train which include current UFC fighter - Natan Levy (Striking) and professional fighter Carl Seumanutafa (Grappling), but Shannon is constantly bringing-in world renown trainers to teach seminars. Just last month, he had Bas Rutten come and teach a seminar. It was amazing! We didn't just learn different fighting skills, but he taught us how to breathe properly. All these years, and I never knew I wasn't breathing properly. It makes a huge difference in your training, and life in general. Nomad is a true team gym! Everyone that trains there looks to help each other improve. Just a great atmosphere! read more

I have been wanting to take self defense classes for years being in the bar industry and just for general personal protection as a woman. What pushed me to finally prioritize is that I am going to be traveling full-time in South America. It doesn't matter if youre male or female, new or experienced, in shape or out of shape, shy or bold, this gym has so much priceless information to share. I did multiple classes a week for two months including an 8 hour seminar where several elite instructors gathered at the gym, and I have noticed a change in both my mental and physical strength and skill. I am more aware of my surroundings and feel so confident. I am so sad my time at Nomad has come to an end but am beyond thankful to take their teachings with me on my new adventure. I could not recommend this place enough. Also Shannon and Cynthia (the owners) are the nicest humans! read more

There are a lot of martial arts gyms across Las Vegas, more so here than any place I lived... however, I can assure you of one thing you won't find a better group of people to workout with...everyone genuinely tries to motivate each other, and Cynthia and Shannon are without a doubt consistently positive and supportive of your goals! That being said, this is a serious workout and I encourage everyone to give it a try, you won't be sorry! read more

If you're interested in learning real self defense that works. Nomad KM is the place in Las Vegas. Get in shape and make new like minded friends at the same time. Nomad KM is a family owned business so you feel like family. Shannon and Cynthia do a great job of knowing their members. They are involved in and with the community that to me speaks volumes about their character. There's always well known guest instructors and seminars to enhance your skills. Usually Shannon officials a free three class trial so there, you're officially out of excuses... see you there! read more

I walked in to Nomad not knowing how to fight or really protect my family except for what basic instincts give you. After a few weeks there my fitness level raised quite a bit and I felt more confident that I'd be able to protect my family if (God forbid) they ever needed it. 2+ years later I feel that I've pushed myself (with the help of all of the instructors; especially Shannon and Alec) to a point where I feel better prepared than ever to defend myself and my family. I still have a lot to learn, but it's interesting and fun learning at Nomad. They do put you under some stress so that you're used to it if/when the time ever comes to use the skills and conditioning you obtain here. They train practically useful elements of Krav Maga, jiu jitsu, Muay Thai, boxing, wrestling, and gun/knife/stick fighting. I've made some good friends here and feel that my time spent here is useful. They offer kids classes and I've taken advantage of that. I didn't expect it, but my kids actually look forward to all of the hard work they put in at Nomad Krav Maga. Kids get stripes on their belts and build rank for academic achievement, community service and other good character building attributes. When the kids get home from class they have gotten rid of a lot of the excess energy they carry around and they are much more focused on homework and having conversations with family. Nomad works hard to only give you what might work as a practical skill set in real world defense applications I feel. Shannon works hard to eliminate extraneous, ornamental, and non-effective techniques. The staff here are constantly educating themselves through seeking new knowledge from UFC fighters and seasoned experts such as 5th black belts in jiu jitsu. You will learn something useful here and you will get in much better shape with some effort on your part. read more

Nomad Krav Maga is the best Krav Maga in Las Vegas!! Nomad has some of the nicest people I have ever met, both staff and students. They genuinely care about you here and will help you no matter what your goal is. I came to Nomad after a long fitness break and I was worried that I might not be able to keep up. Nomad met me where I was and I became stronger both physically and mentally. They will teach you proper technique in a fun and engaging way. I found this place while looking into forms of self defense, & I'm so glad I decided on them. Shannon & Cynthia are GREAT, super friendly & supportive. I had NO kind of athletic background & even though I was pushed to my limits never felt like the classes were unreasonable. This place really is beginner friendly, don't be put off if you have no kind of experience, I didn't even go to the regular gym before I started coming here. Sadly I had to leave because my schedule became a little impossible, but Cynthia has been GREAT about trying to help me find something that works for me. If you're hesitant about trying it out, just do it. TRUST ME, it's SUCH an empowering feeling when you leave the class! read more

Place is pretty cool ngl, it is worth putting your money into. I learned an armbar and triangle choke.

Let me start off by saying this is legitimately the second review I've ever given in my life. Shannon and his entire team deserve all the accolades that have already been said, yet words can't describe how grateful I am! I implore anyone reading this that may be hesitant to give Nomad Krav Maga a try to try out just one class and see for yourself. The amount of professionalism, integrity, and work ethic is unparalleled. Don't get me wrong, you have to be willing to put yourself in some uncomfortable situations and give it 110% while you're under their watchful eyes, yet the results undoubtedly speak for themselves. The physical transformation is nothing in comparison to the confidence I've gained and carry with me on my day to day. read more

The best decision I made in 2017 was joining Nomad Krav Maga. Without a doubt, it's the best workout I've had. I've tried plenty of other ways (lifting weights, trying every cardio machine you can think of, group classes, fitness bootcamps, hiring personal trainers) and had memberships at a few places around town. But nothing compares to the intensity of the classes here. In the year I've been a member I've lost 20 pounds and I'm in the best shape I've been in in over a decade. The other added benefit is learning practical self defense techniques that could save your life or the lives of loved ones. The owner, Shannon, is incredibly knowledgeable. He's great at explaining and demonstrating different skills, he's encouraging, and he also knows when to push you to get better. The classes aren't easy, but you'll love the results. No matter what your fitness level, age, or experience level with self defense/martial arts, the team at Nomad can help you reach your goals. read more

I've trained with Nomad Krav Maga for a year now. There's so much great things to say about this place. When I first joined, I wanted to learn how to defend myself and protect my family. I'm so grateful to have trained here and am way more confident in my ability to defend myself and my family if anything were to happen. Thank you Shannon and the Nomad team. read more

I completely love this place. I've been wanting to take Krav Maga for a few years and I finally got the motivation/time/money to do it. I'm pretty stoked I went to this place. The owner Shannon was very helpful picking the class plan that works best for me. Both him and Alec are awesome teachers, patient and knowledgeable and I've learned a lot in just a few week's worth of classes. I'm really excited to keep going and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for self defense classes and one heck of a workout! read more

I have been coming here for almost 2 years now and it is one of the best decisions I've made. I am in the best shape I've ever been in and feel so much safer in just every day life. Shannon is a great instructor and Krav Maga is a great form of self defense read more

I have trained at Nomad Krav Maga for about 9 months and I still find myself rambling on about Krav Maga to those who are near and dear to me to the point where they probably think I'm annoying but it's because I CARE. I want my loved ones to learn what I learn and I want them to be safe out in this crazy world too. I am not exaggerating when I say that Krav Maga will change your life! It will change the way you go out in public. It will change the way you asses situations, places, and people and it will shoot your fitness level through the roof. I remember when I first started training I was sore for an entire month straight! It's fitness with a PURPOSE and I swear to God it is never ever boring. I left the gym because it got boring; yes, even despite all the different classes they offer - and I haven't looked back. Nomad offers a free trial and I encourage everyone to at least just go and check it out. It's free and you have nothing to lose but a lot to gain. If you feel like this is something that would be intimidating, I promise you that it's not. The instructor is incredibly knowledgeable and his classes are taught at a learning pace suitable for for all body types and fitness levels all while still getting the most intense, ass-kicking, sweat-drenching workout possible and he will teach you how to NOT get hit in the face so there's nothing to worry about! Every single class is informative, motivating, and will push you to your limits. Nomad Krav Maga is also an incredibly charitable organization that gives to different causes every month which will make you even more proud of being a member. Overall, Nomad Krav Maga is very committed towards building a better and safer community starting with their members and I'm so glad to be a part of it. I seriously recommend it to everyone and anyone. read more
