Talk about the Ultimate Self-Defense Training Experience!!! I thought I was going to enjoy Kickboxing as an appetizer, Krav Maga as the entree, then Firearms with Knife and Stick as dessert... BUT, there's also Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Wrestling, and Intermediate Krav Maga! It's a Buffet of Training!! ... And I gotta eat every week. There's so much to learn and boy am I having a great time learning, failing, then improving. The instructors here are unmatched. Get started today, you won't be disappointed.

Love this place!!! My kids were attacked by another teen. My daughter was really hurt and pass out during the attack. We had the video police couldn't do anything. Whatever kids go through right now it is difficult, unfortunately victims request help from adults but they don't get it. Nomad Krav Maga provides self defense, give our kids the opportunity to believe in themselves again, and the security that they know how to defend themselves as a last resource. I love the fact they tough both of my kids you can only use those techniques when you don't have escape, you only have to use to stop momentarily the attacker and run to safety. This place brought peace to me and hope. Thank you for everything you guys do for Both of my kids

Nomad Krav Maga is the latest to join the Syndicate gym family: now krav, MMA, and crossfit can all be found under one roof! I recently attended intro classes on krav and self defense (knife skills and hostage avoidance) and received a tour of their facilities. The staff are friendly and the classes are practical, with reality-based drills and krav-based skills. Unfortunately, our reality is one in which self defense skills are a necessity these days and the only way you will know what to do in a dangerous situation is to practice for it. Shannon creates a safe and positive environment in which to do it, with a welcoming and down to earth atmosphere. They also have women's programs to ease into their style of workouts, coupled with a nutrition program. If you're interested in joining, they have lunchtime and evening classes and new member specials. There's a three-day trial available to test it out and see if it's for you. Their location is pretty far from my home and work, so I will not be able to do more than occasionally pop in- but if you're in the SW area, give them a try.

Intense bag work in every conditioning class in order to develop optimal striking levels.

I've been training here for well over a year now and it's always a GREAT experience. The integration of various forms of combat within the Krav Maga system is truly genius.

My son wanted to try Muay Thai kick boxing and enjoys learning from his coaches Josh & Chance. Usually, at the end of training they get to play a game which is always nice & fun for the kids to unwind. He wishes he could go to class 3x a week but unfortunately we have other activities so once a week will do for now. We bought the 20 classes for $250 pass because we can't take full advantage of all the classes in a month yet. His first few days they let him borrow gloves and shin pads which was nice. We started bringing in our own. We never felt pressured to buy any of the merch they sell which is always a plus. They have more than Muay Thai here. It's a great place for kids and adults wanting to try various forms of martial arts or just to work on their strength training.

So I feel he's both arrogant and obnoxious when provided with feedback he doesn't agree with. I had to tell him multiple times I was done with the conversation, this was because I was uncomfortable at that point. It definitely felt like I couldn't voice my opinion on his business He explained he didn't stop the kids from running out because he was busy unlocking another child from the restroom and that the reason he seemed annoyed/irritated when he came in and yelled at us all to move our cars was because he had gotten into it with the tow truck guy outside and had them unhook a car He also explained he's not arrogant, that it's just my opinion and basically wanted to know why I felt that way, I explained I've seen him interact with others and he wanted to know who/when, which didn't seem right if this is how he reacted to my review. He asked why i thought he was arrogant and I let him know because of how he was approaching from the review I left - i let him know he was being arrogant then and there As far as my son being afraid of him, I explained it was also due to one interaction they had and he said he speaks to the kids like a coach(which I explained from my opinion/perspective it didn't feel that way) My previous review mentioned my son got ring worm from borrowing the boxing gloves and he let me know that was impossible. I explained this was a gym and it was very possible but he wasn't having it so I stood my ground as well insisting he got it there because it happened after using their gloves which isn't a problem just brought it up as a precaution didn't need to be defensive about it He let me know that if I wasn't happy I could leave, I reminded him I paid for the year and it's not like he's going to refund me the remainder of the year. He said he wasn't kicking us out just letting us know we could leave if we weren't happy As far as the AC goes, he let me know the building isn't equipped with AC. He has 4 coolers installed which are on all day from the am until closing - I explained when I left the review it didn't feel like any cooler was on as the only hot breeze was from the 42" fan, no other. The reason for the one star was his approach and how he made me feel during this last interaction. I let him know I'd like to finish the remainder of the year for my son and not have to interact with him again.

My son enrolled here to try Muay Thai for the first time. The first class focused on drills and…read moreconditioning. On the second day, he was paired to spar with a 14‑year‑old girl who repeatedly used elbows to his head. He chose not to match her force because he was trying to be respectful. We contacted the coach afterward and were under the impression the situation would be addressed. On the third day, a 9‑year‑old was sparring in the adult class. My son (5'8", 174 lbs, and on only his third day) tried to guide the younger child by reminding him to keep his hands up. At some point, the coach felt my son made contact too hard. An adult student named Greg--over 6 feet tall and more than 300 lbs--then asked to spar with my son; my son being new and being instructed to spar with everyone accepts to spar. He struck my son hard multiple times and got a clean hit to the face. When my son asked him to tone it down, Greg responded that my son should have done the same with the younger child and if he wanted him to tone it down my son should do the same with the 9 year old. The coach later stated that he had been watching the interactions but did not step in. He defended Greg's behavior while also saying it "wasn't okay," and his only proposed solution was to talk to Greg. He also questioned why my son returned after feeling uncomfortable on day two. The coach repeatedly emphasized that this is a "fighting gym," yet allowed a clear size and experience imbalance to escalate without intervention. This environment does not appear to prioritize safety, supervision, or appropriate pairing--especially for beginners or younger participants. The coach acknowledged that if Greg had gone "really hard," my son would not have been standing, which raises further concerns about oversight and risk management. If you are looking for a structured, safe, and positive learning environment focused on skill development, discipline, and proper supervision--especially at $200 per month per person--this may not be the right fit. My son attended to learn self‑defense and gain confidence, not to be placed in unsafe or poorly supervised sparring situations.

Great gym, atmosphere, and trainers. Look no further if you want to learn how to defend yourself,…read moreget in shape, or compete.
