Even though I am a fan of the brand, I didn't know there was a NYC boutique. I was in the area with…read moremy mother and we saw the store sign and decided to enter. The person inside (AJ) was so nice and professional and engaged in a way that made my mother fall in love with the brand even more. He took the time to let us more about the scents of our interests and ways we could layer. Not only did he go over the scents and gave astute comments, he had this uncanny ability to predict which scents we would like and dislike. I absolutely believe I found my mother's scent twin. The boutique had the popular entries like the Delina (original and exclusif) and newcomers like the Valaya exclusif. Other than going to a department store that sells some entries, going to a boutique like this one is great so you don't have to blind buy a scent that you are paying quite a bit on. Because I'm a dutiful daughter, I got my mom the Delina and we got samples to explore more. I would go back in the future.

Davianna (I hope I spelled her name correctly, so sorry if not!) immediately greeted me and helped me find some old favorites, new scents I saw on the app, and chatted a bit about plans for the rest of the weekend. -Price- If I'm not mistaken, their prices range from $29 to $49, maybe a little less depending on how much you buy and if you're part of their subscription program. It's easy to rack up a big bill, but you're getting a handful of full size fragrances for the price of one designer fragrance, and they smell almost the same -Did Not Like- Not sure if this has changed since the grand opening, but there were a few fragrances on the app that weren't available in store, so I wasn't able to try them before buying. Ended up playing it safe because I hate returning things lol -Noteworthy- Nearly identical to the designer fragrances. The idea of creating your own custom perfume was so cute to me, and it seemed like a great useful keepsake from the trip! You're able to make reservations online I believe, but since we were going on a Monday, we decided to keep our schedule flexible and do a walk-in when we were ready to stop by. REALLY strong scents when you go inside, almost the entire time actually! The staff greeted us immediately to see if we had a reservation and since we didn't, they walked us through what the process would be like. You first pick out your base scent - there are quite a few to choose from, and I had to eventually step outside to distinguish between the smells a little bit better. After you pick your base scent, you let your staff know what you liked about it, and also scents you generally are adverse to. They then mix together a few combinations and have you once again pick your top 3-4. They then put those combinations onto your skin so you can smell how your own scent mixes with the perfumes. It was definitely hard for me and my bestie to decide, maybe we took a bit longer than most people would! I do wish they had something to help cleanse our noses from all the different scents. I also wish they gave us wipes at the end because we had 4 different perfumes on our arms from the tests! At the end, you get to pick your color for your bottle as well as name it! You only get 9 letters so definitely think ahead!

They don't want to overwhelm your senses here so they only spray three fragrance. This isn't Macy's or Sephora!!! It's a very high calibre and well crafted parfum. Ever since we started talking about going to New York City, she immediately insisted that a visit to a Krigler was a must during our time in the Big Apple. While I am not surprised that the shop was located in The Plaza, I was taken aback that it's essentially a kiosk. A kiosk with crazy-expensive items, but a kiosk nonetheless. The staff member took great care of my friend, discussing the various notes within the scents that she was interested in, and ensuring that she had an opportunity to smell all of the things that she was curious about. He didn't apply the hard sell on her and backed off when I told him that my tastes ran more in the price range of TJ Maxx instead of Tiffany's, which I appreciated. Should someone tell me they were interested in high-end fragrance, I would definitely steer them towards Krigler.

The staff greeted us when we walked in, and let us know how to smell the perfumes (they have the scents in little glasses). Staff asked me what I was looking for scent-wise, and showed me what I asked for. (I do love florals.) I was also shown the second floor which is their limited fragrances, so unavailable after the season. And when I couldn't decide between two scents, they helped me decide by determining if it was for special occasion or daily use. They also can custom make scents, which is pretty neat. I mentioned wanting jasmine, and they also showed me a pure jasmine scented oil. I just chose one of the premade perfumes. Maybe next time! They also engrave your name on the box, either English or Arabic, as a complimentary service. I will definitely be back once I need a new bottle! Outstanding customer service, very knowledgeable, and incredibly clean store.
