Great place for bulk food and Amish products. It's best to go early if you are going on a Saturday. They have good deals.....just be careful to look at the expiration dates. Byler's has a large selection of inexpensive spices, GREAT ice cream and fresh bakery items. I love roaming through their home decor/gadget section. Always something beautiful or useful. Throughout the store there is a lot of expired/discontinued items, so definitely check that out. The 'fresh' produce leaves much to be desired. Still 4 stars though bc the good definitely outweighs the 'eh'. read more

I absolutely LOVE Bylers. My only issue with them is their hours of operation. I work 10-7 and there is no way I can get there after work to shop. I live 45 min away from the store, so I like to go after work as I am 10 min away. I just don't know anywhere else I can actually 2 weeks of groceries for $100. read more

The employees are very friendly and greet the customers with a smile ! ! **--**At the customers Service desk got great service and help from a very down to earth caring Terra ! ! **--** The cashiers are the most wonderful, very pleasant and helpful, to name a few: A. I just walked away without ordering my sandwich ! ! **--** Don't blame the one who makes the sandwich for she is only following the rules set by the management ! ! I live two miles from Bylers and shop there almost daily and they have a Great Friendly staff ready to help with a smile. ** I only wish they would join the Produce Junction and offer better prices and fresher produce too. My favorite place to shop! The atmosphere is peaceful, the ice cream is delish & the store is unique!

recently I was went to byler's in dover, de. the weather was about 100 degrees. There was a buggy out in the parkin lot and a horse tied. No on was giving the horse any water. I mentioned this to some people but everyone was silent. If I has water I would give it some. When I left Bylers the horse was still there, looking as if it was affected by the heat. I used to work and be around horses and I know having water is very important for them. Frankly I was very upset. I would have given a 5 star rating. read more

Byler's has a great selection of food, household items and gifts. The variety makes it a fun place to visit. The only problem with the place is you really need to watch the expiration dates on food, I've gotten a few stale things here. read more

We contracted for a gas stove for our porch back in August. After many phone calls trying for a delivery date I've been told this morning that it will be mid-November before our stove can be installed. Very poor service after the sale! Apparently they're doing a lot of business with new construction projects and don't have time for the small customer. We'll go elsewhere. read more

My review is solely for the deli. There is always a wait but there is a take a number system that lets you continue to shop nearby while waiting for your number to be called. You can stray farther if you visited on the weekend when it is the busiest. The meats and cheeses are at increadibly low prices, but not by sacrificing quality. Its been months since Ive been inside the store, my wife generally makes the trip, but I see high quality roast beefs sell in Byler's for prices below what Walmart charges for their least expensive, least quality roast beef. There always seems to be a good quality ham for sale in the five and change dollar a pound range, a good ham, not "cooked ham" or "chopped ham", but like a Virginia Ham or some other ham that is obviously not pressed. There is a large selection, and you can buy deli pickle spears or pickle chips from the counter as well. I will never buy deli at Walmart again knowing that a place like Byler's is right in Dover. read more
