The boy that was helping me (didn't get his name but he was the only boy sales associate). He obviously didn't know his products because he took out a different color one (brown brushed Calf). As he was unwrapping it from the generic looking, plastic clam shell box I jokingly said, "hahahahah is that what the watches come in? Hahahahah" and laughed. He got all serious, like I hurt his ego and said "they all come like this from the manufacturer. Even Rolexes." Bro. It was just a joke. And if I wanted to buy another Rolex I wouldn't be in your store. Didn't you notice the one I was already wearing? I then told him that was not the color. Which I had already said. Then he said, "let me see if we even have it in store... oh no you can order it online or go to the Walnut Creek. It cost $3,700". Then he started putting the watch back inside the darn plastic to-go looking container. I said, "aren't you going to at least let me try it on." What in the good Lord are you doing there? Just standing around doing nothing in your empty store? He then asked a different sales associate to help me. Her name is Ai. She was cool. Very helpful and let me at least try it on. Answered my questions about my engagement ring. Although the watch didn't quite fit my fat a**, at least she said he was going to ask if they could switch the band for a longer one. Like damn dude that's all I wanted to know and homeboy got all butt hurt with my snarky comment. Relax man. I'll make sure to never pass you up if I ever feel like buying anything else in this store. I've only had TOP TIER SERVICE at Tiffany and Co. From engraving, resizing to be sent back to the flag ship store in New York City, to my life time cleanings. Most notably, Vicky!! Vicky has helped me select wedding bands, push presents (for pushing through life lol), treat yo self gifts, and gifts (ranging from baby showers, graduation gifts, and house warming gifts). Vicky has truly been a pillar service advisor for many milestones in my life. For the value of Tiffany & Co, yes it is expensive. You're paying for the name and the experience of being a T&C client. It may not be of value to everyone, but it's a priceless value to me based off the many interactions I've had with my client advisor. One of my favorite memories with them is getting to see the laser numbers on my diamonds under their super microscope. Each diamond of a particular carat weight has a serial code, that you can't see with the naked human eye.

They also wouldn't give me a size 8 because they said it has to match what I originally bought, even though the size 8 fit fine. This made no sense to me. The customer service was really bad. They looked at me as if I was in the wrong. If I owned this company, I would be appalled. Jacklin the lead told me that the rings don't last forever, which I understand, but when you barely wear them, it's disappointing. It feels like these items are mass-produced, and maybe I got a bad one. Instead of trying to find a solution, she was unhelpful. I'm just disappointed in the service. We went in specifically needing wedding bands by an exact date. We made it explicitly clear to the sales rep that if they couldn't guarantee that date, we wouldn't buy them. The employee promised overnight shipping, took what we were told was full payment, and assured us everything was handled. It was downhill from there. We never received a confirmation because the employee mangled our email address. When we called to track it down, we were told the order didn't exist, the discount we were given was gone, and we had to pay full price. When we pushed back, a manager jumped in claiming she "found" the order, blamed everything on a fired employee, and forced us to pay an unexpected balance just to get our rings shipped. Desperate to get our wedding bands on time, we paid it. Another day passed--still no shipping confirmation. We called back only to find out the overnight shipping promise was a lie and the rings wouldn't even ship for days, meaning they will arrive after we have already left for our wedding. When my fiancée called to cancel the order out of pure frustration, the store clerk was rude to her over the phone, dismissively saying "Yeah, yeah, it'll be canceled." We still have no cancellation confirmation, no refund, and no rings for our wedding. This place operates like a total scam with zero accountability, terrible internal communication, and incredibly rude management. We made very clear what we wanted as to the ring setting (i.e., a low profile), and the store manager at the time promised us that, even if we're not happy after purchase, we can come back any time and they can and will easily change the setting, satisfaction guaranteed, etc. Right after our engagement, we came back to the store and paid for a new ring setting, as the one my then-fiancee ultimately chose (based on the manager's recommendation) was still too high for my liking. We were told by the manager that it is no problem and we would have a new ring in no time. This is when the saga began. In the last 1.5 years, we have been calling and texting and visiting the store every other week, following up on the status, which were consistently met with - albeit very politely - (1) empty promises that it will be ready "this Friday" or "next week," (2) excuses (e.g., they are busy with [Christmas / Valentines' Day / Mother's Day] or there is no CAD designer available to do the drawing (in the entire Jared's chain)), or (3) simply ghosted. Finally, right before Christmas last year, we learned that the manager we've been "chasing" has moved out of the state to another branch. Quick note: we cannot just take the ring to any other jeweler to get a new setting because that would void the guarantee that Jared's offers (as most jewelry stores do) on the ring (e.g., if a/the stone falls off, they will replace it). Feeling utterly defeated and hopeless, we went into the store again, that's when we met Silva. We told her our story and she quickly connected with the manager, checked the system and studied the records, figured out exactly what we wanted and what needed to be done, and started to mobilize the entire process. She checked in and provided updates almost weekly, showing exceptional professionalism and commitment. Silva then introduced us to the amazing Tran, the in-store expert jeweler (whom I assume has been at the store in the last 1.5 years). Tran is super knowledgeable about everything jewelry. He explained to us the pros and cons of our different options - balancing beauty and strength. In the end, Tran went above and beyond, defying the laws of structural physics, designed and produced exactly what we wanted (no CAD drawings), for which we are beyond impressed and incredibly grateful. I just got a $1000 interest charge on the $1600 I owed. They do business with Comenity Bank, just do a quick google search of them and add the words shady business practices. So, after a year of not hearing from the GM I called back to day to inquire about the $1,000 interest slapped on my bill this last month. GM, who never called me back in over a year, just directs me to Comenity Bank Customer Service line. If you want a company that stands behind their product and delivers on promises, take your business elsewhere.

If window shopping while carrying a bag is their cue for managerial intervention - then I predict a short-lived tenure for either the manager or the store. Show respect for your customers - they're the driving force behind your business, and you will succeed or fail based on how you treat them.
