Marshmallow cookie () Danish dream cake and filtered coffee with the tiniest pot of steamed milk
    Erica J.

Cute, stylish cafe in the middle of downtown Copenhagen. Perfect for studying/working or meeting a friend to catch up. Ordered a filtered coffee (20kr), piece of Danish drømmekage (30kr) and a marshmallow cookie (25kr) to share. The coffee came with its own tiny pitcher of steamed milk at no additional cost. The coffee was pretty standard but tasted good. I personally really liked the drømmekage (made with coconut, vanilla, brown sugar), which was a large portion and served with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce. However, I was with a Dane who said he had tasted much better versions of it elsewhere and for much cheaper. The marshmallow cookie was excellent though - would definitely get this again and/or try another option. Went perfectly with a hot cup of coffee. I really liked the layout and decor of this cafe. There were a good amount of tables and chairs and the tables were big enough to spread out your laptop/books if you plan to stay for a while. There was wifi in the cafe and some light background music, but nothing that would disturb me if I was there to read. When I visited it was a nice day so the front doors were open, which brought in some fresh air. Overall, nice little place in the center of the city. Especially if you're looking for a good study spot.

Buzz is a good addition in the Latin Quarter for early birds, coffee conversationalists, and those looking for a quick stop with a full menu. It has a fair amount of space inside to sit and enjoy yourself, with lots of light, comfortable seating, plants, and a few nooks in the back. The staff were more than friendly, and the place has a bright, cozy environment to it. The menu is diverse and fairly priced. Grød (oatmeal) with peanut butter, raisins, and honey for 35 DKK, filter coffee for 20 DKK, and really wonderful, chewy Oreo cookies for 20 DKK. A full breakfast platter is 80 DKK, and you can get classic breakfast items (bread & cheese, croissant, smoothies, etc) as well as sandwiches.

Decent coffee and snacks. They are polite and ready to help out with the menu. There are lots of choices in this area and this is one of the better ones. People are welcome to come in and spend time inside.

The breakfast plate was great, especially the tuna. The chicken sandwich was full of avocado and good bread. Seems like a good place to work, eat lunch or have a smoothie with friends.

This glass was filled to the brim with water (I drank some before I took the picture.) This is not an americano. It's an espresso hidden in a large glass of tap water.

Boiled egg still on the way, tea out of shot.

Great vegan options! Love my Avocado, humus and tomato sandwich with fresh squeezed orange juice. Great prices for pricey Copenhagen

I have been eating Paleo for 3 years and it's hard to find convenient places while traveling. This…read morecafe makes it easy since EVERYTHING is paleo! The commitment to health and the paleo lifestyle is what made me give it an extra star. If it was a regular cafe, I would not recommend. I ordered... Open face chicken wrap: 4/5. It was a large portion and tasted good but not great. Not memorable. Could have used more pesto. There was A LOT of almonds and avocado - more than a reasonable meal should have. Seed bread: 5/5. Very delicious and fills the craving for real bread. Would have been better heated up instead of being served cold from the fridge. Location: I tried to visit one evening at 6pm because their online hours were listed as being open til 7pm, but they actually were already closed. There was another customer in front of me who had also read the incorrect information and we were both turned away. Otherwise the interior is nice and comfortable but a bit messy with dirty dishes left on tables and not cleared within a few minutes. The kitchen looked like a mess with smoothie juice on the floor. It looked like the blender exploded.

Makes you feel healthy just walking by, what with all the low carb / healthy juices / raw foods hanging around (beginning to think this was a strategic move). Fairly cheap and easy dinner of a chicken wrap (the wrap is made out of egg and coconut flour) and a beet/celery/carrot juice and this girl is a happy camper with a happy belly. A fantastic alternative to other comparable meals in the area which are twice as expensive and ten times as unhealthy. It's a damn shame that neither the Palæo in Torvehallerne, nor the one here on Pilestræde, are close to my house. I would probably come here daily, if that were the case. Pro-tip: they sell low carb pastries here, like coconut muffins, nut breads, and various other paleo friendly snacks if you need a treat on the run and are trying to resist visiting Lagkagehuset.
