Det Vide Hus helt for os selv!
Ellisiv B.

First of all, Det Vide Hus is an excellent study spot! Not too many people in the day time, good coffee, friendly staff who understand my weird danish and decent prices. Hurrah! The location is also very convenient, in central Copenhagen close to the Royal Gardens. The white, old stone house is also very charming, explaining the lovely name of the café. You almost want to live there. The müsli with skyr and berries looks delicious and colourful and my bun with avocado was simple, but good. The ginger boost juice is also super nice and refreshing. The food menu isn't too big, but contains a nice selection of croissants, buns and toasts of various kinds. This is definitely the spot for juice, coffee, milkshake or anything on the more liquid side. If there's anything to say on the slightly negative side, it could be that the cafe could use a tiny touch up, seeing as it's a bit worn. I can't decide whether this is part of its charm or if I would like it a bit fresher, though.

Best granola I've had, food was fresh and made to order very carefully. The lattes were great and they offer non dairy milk options. He place is small but cute atmosphere and very chill. Perfect place to stop at for a great smallish breakfast and a well made espresso drink! Oh also they use Coffee Collective beans.

Their avocado toast was some of the best I'd ever had.

Bastard Cafe is a must visit if you are ever visiting Copenhagen. It's fun, loud, and colorful…read more This location has over 5,000 board games. It's astounding the amount of games in this place. They are everywhere! There is even a "Game Guru", seated somewhere in the center of the cafe. You can ask him/her any game-related questions. They can recommend the perfect game for you to play and they even instruct you on how to play. There is a QR code at each table you can use to order drinks/foods. They will bring it to the table. They serve coffee, beer, wine, cocktails. They also serve some light bites such as nachos and nuggets. 5 stars - Nice ambiance. Come play a game, have a drink, listen to music, and enjoy the artwork.

I am not a gamer, but I do appreciate sitting down and playing a good game every now and then…read more While I was in Europe visiting with a friend, she asked if I wanted to stop in to this little cafe and play some games. We went into the first entrance we saw, which led us into a small basement space with a counter to order drinks, and a little back room with more games. To me, it was a pretty typical gaming cafe - nothing remarkable. We played some card games for a bit, sipped our tea, and then we headed upstairs to leave... but THEN, we realized the actual MAIN section of the cafe was upstairs, and it was huge. There were several copies of each game neatly stacked, and went on forever. Every game you could think of seemed to be on the shelved. They had cute merchandise, too. We were both bummed we didn't realize it before, but I bookmarked this place so that I can return next time I am in Copenhagen. If you love gaming, this place is a must.
