I was excited to try out this new business as a new lunch spot. They've been open for about two months, and the spot is clean and modern. There's a bit of seating room, and I really like the wall decor! I tried their signature butter chicken roti. It was a little pricey ($15 after tax), but the roti was absolutely massive. I am not sure if the roti wrap was made fresh there, but it was nice and thin. The filling was delicious - lots of boneless white chicken breast pieces! The sauce I got was mild, and it was slightly bland. I enjoy it like that, but maybe not everyone does. They have a number of vegetarian options as well as samosas. I'll have to come back when I have a huge appetite and a few extra bucks!

The food portions are huuuge! Each dish is a shareable. My wife and I ordered the tikka masala roti and the butter chicken with rice. Roti was very tender. You have multiple levels of spice to match your heat requirements. Not a lot of seating in the restaurant as it appears to be mostly a take out or delivery, but worth the stop.

3.5 Stars with a tentative roundup for large portions and menu additions. Revisited this location last week after first trying it a couple of times last year and the Mutton Tikka wasn't quite as good but I was glad they added the yummy "street snack" items (Papri Chat, Samosa Chat, Pani Puri). First thing I had was a Chicken Vindaloo. This was OK, but it didn't taste like Vindaloo to me, not did it taste particularly Indian or Asian - definitely tuned to not challenge a 'vanilla" palate. I wasn't expecting it to taste hardcore Indian but even so I was a bit disappointed. I had Mutton Tikka twice 4 months apart. The first time I was very good, not the boldest seasoning but satisfying and the Lamb flavour was easy to recognize. The second time the Lamb was a bit tough in places and the curry was more red than brown, sweeter and more oily in taste and appearance ---TMI ALERT --- this impression was confirmed by the way it exited the next morining. Would have been better over rice. You can choose between many different spice levels. I had both Medium and Spicy, not any of the extreme ones. Here's the thing with variable spice levels in stewey dishes: They only make one sauce so what you're really getting is a MILD, with dry Chilli Powder added in at the end - this does add heat but it's not the same as when it's cooked hot & spicy from the start - the chilli doesn't release taste into the dish and the heat is the kind you feel on the mouth & ears rather than the kind which builds up form inside with each bite. So I think the dishes are best represented in the Mild & Medium version unless you just want a straight heat-on. This location has only a few seating places and is tuned very much for the takeout and delivery app business. However the place is very clean if you do chose to eat it there. The washroom is clean but a miniature train compartment style. After 3 visits here I get the impression they're not quite as "on" with these Rotis as the downtown locations. But it's good enough as fast food and gets extra points for it's many choices and large portions.

SAAG PANEER ROTI (Spinach and Cottage Cheese) Spice Level - Hot (I just can't get enough)
    Mark D.

Lots of filling inside Saag is smooth and flavourful Huge chunks of semi soft paneer Roti is super thin Portion is massive (8.5" x 6.5") Spice Level - Hot (I just can't get enough). If you can handle heat, I would stick to this level. This was really delicious and I highly recommend the Saag Paneer Roti (spinach and cottage cheese) even if your not vegetarian. It is soooo good. I cant wait to try the other rotis.

What I got : Saag Chana Roti ($11.95), Baingan Aloo Roti ($11.95) via save the dishes app Pros: - I had a promo code for Save the Dishes for $15 off so I used it here, delivery is free with orders over $20. - This was my first time trying roti and I have to say it was pretty good. Roti is this large pita bread that the stewed curries are wrapped in. I think if you get it with rice the portion is bigger but the taste is better with the roti. - You can pick the spice level, I picked mild. - there are lots of vegetarian options and I especially recommend their eggplant roti (baingan aloo) this was very delicious. The other classic one to get is the butter chicken. Cons: - Prices per item are a bit more expensive when ordering via the app- $11.95 vs $8.95 for in store.

This Is my second time eating here. First found them on Instagram as a food truck, so was excited when I found out they have stores now. The roti is nice and soft. The curry packs a lot of flavour. Its cooked as you order, so you know it's not sitting around like a lot of restaurants. You can customize your filling to anyway you want it. You can add chicken peas, eggplant, or anything else they have there to any of the curries. Which I think is a great touch as I love spicy food. But be warned, it does pack a lot of heat! They are big portions. Can be shared. Great customer service. The cashier helped me pick what I wanted to eat and customized me something that wasn't on the menu according to things I suggested I liked. Would definitely come back here. Hope they franchise out and come to the west end.

I've been ordering Ubereats here since COVID and it's one of the best spots for some Indian fusion. The curries are delicious and go so well with roti. I also just went into their store to buy a couple samosas for an after-work snack and they were delicious!! The perfect amount of spice for anyone who isn't used to the authentic Indian spice levels The guy there is super sweet and personable too! Please support their business!

HAIR!! This was inside the butter chicken we ordered
    Gajan S.

PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!!! I was here with my friends last week and there was a hair in my roti and I asked them for refund and the manager created big problems and he was very rude I had to call Toronto public health right at the store. He was arguing that it was my hair and also when I showed him the hair he had hard time pulling it out with a fork inside the kitchen and he said it's my hair when he is not even wearing a hair net and making Roti inside the kitchen. I asked him for the food handler certificate he doesn't even know something like that exist and he refused to show saying "why should I show you the certificate" may be he doesn't know the fact that you are supposed to show the food handler certificate when a customer requests!! THIS GUY IS VERY RUDE!! They get their Roti at the storage somewhere next door and they don't wear gloves or anything and he goes straight inside the kitchen and makes food. We ordered their so called "signature butter chicken roti" which was full of potatoes and this was the first time I saw potatoes in butter chicken in my entire life of eating Indian cuisine and the food was alright the butter chicken sauce tasted no where close to butter chicken and there was more potatoes than the chicken in my roti, same with my friends lamb roti too many potatoes. WHOEVER CREATED THESE RECIPES PLEASE GOOGLE FOR BETTER RECIPES AND UPDATE YOUR MENU!!! PLEASE TRY TO MAKE BUTTER CHICKEN NOT BUTTER POTATOES!!

This is supposed to be 2 butter chicken rotis....????

we took another chance on this place after boycotting for a year due to their changed recipe and lack of customer service.... and they again disappointed with completely getting our order wrong (we didn't get roti, we got butter chicken with naan on the side... aren't you called butter chicken roti?), telling us it was our fault for ordering butter chicken roti, and the food doesn't taste good (STILL!)! fool me once. fool me twice shame on me. don't be fooled by this place- their food is subpar and they don't care!

The combination of vegetables in the pakoras gave them a unique but delicious taste. The kebab were stuffed with paneer and also very good. For mains we order malai kofta and dal makhni with garlic naan. Our server told us the kofta was a little on the sweet side but suggested it could be made savoury if we preferred. We did that it was great. Best malai kofta I have had in some time. Dal was excellent also. For desert we shared the rasmalai tiramisu which was excellent. It was tiramisu where the lady fingers were soaked in the liquid from rasmalai and topped with a piece of rasmalai and pistachios. It was really delicious. I have also mention the service was excellent. Our server was attentive, offered excellent suggestions and checked on us regularly.

Overall, a solid 4-star experience at Goan Indian Farm Kitchen…read more The Chicken Tikka was hands down the star of the meal--10/10! The chicken was perfectly tender and juicy, with a beautiful char from the grill. The marinade was full of spices that were perfectly balanced, and the smoky flavor was absolutely delightful. My only suggestion would be to serve a bit more mint chutney alongside, as the coolness and freshness of the chutney paired beautifully with the spice of the chicken. The Spicy Beef Kebab was decent, but I have to give it a 7/10. While the texture was great, and the kebab was tender, it could've benefited from a stronger, more distinct flavor profile. The spices were a bit too overwhelming, and the beef lacked the depth I was hoping for. A bit more seasoning and complexity would've elevated it. The Palak Paneer was solid, but not perfect--8.5/10. The spinach sauce was creamy and flavorful, with just the right amount of spices, but I found that there wasn't enough paneer in the dish. It felt like there was a great base, but the lack of enough paneer left me wanting more of that rich, cheesy bite that makes this dish so satisfying. Still, the sauce itself was excellent. The Makhan Chicken with Mushrooms was good but somewhat underwhelming--7/10. The chicken itself was cooked well, but the flavor of the sauce didn't quite have the depth or richness I expected. The mushrooms added some nice earthiness, but overall, I was hoping for a more complex, flavorful dish. It was fine, but it didn't stand out compared to the other items. As for dessert, the Bebinca was warm and moist, but it lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for--6.5/10. The texture was perfect--soft and almost cake-like--but the sweetness and coconut flavor didn't quite pop the way it should. I feel like the Gulabjamun Rose Cheesecake might have been a better pick, as the Bebinca didn't quite hit the mark. But the true highlight of the meal was the Mango Lassi Cheesecake - 10/10. It was absolutely divine! It tasted exactly like a mango lassi, but in cheesecake form. The mango flavor was fresh and vibrant, while the creamy texture was smooth and indulgent. Every bite was a perfect balance of sweetness and tang, and we wouldn't change a thing about it. It was the ultimate dessert to end the meal. While the food was mostly excellent (especially the Chicken Tikka and Mango Lassi Cheesecake), the service was a bit of a letdown. The greeter rolled their eyes when we asked for a table away from the entrance, despite there being plenty of empty tables at lunchtime. That initial encounter made us feel a little unwelcome, though the staff did check on us afterward, and we still left a tip. The interior decor was beautiful, though--definitely added to the overall experience. Overall, despite the service hiccup, the food (particularly the Chicken Tikka and Mango Lassi Cheesecake) was fantastic, and we would definitely return for the food!
