This place is slowly turning into my real-life Supermarket Simulator and I mean that…read moreaffectionately. Every time I stop in, it feels like they've added a few more things. Not a massive selection, but definitely enough drinks, snacks, smoke shop items, water, and random "oh crap I need that" essentials to save you a bigger trip elsewhere. One thing I actually really appreciate is that they seem to carry a wider variety of cigarette options than a lot of nearby spots, including brands that can be oddly hard to find sometimes. Prices also seem surprisingly reasonable for a neighborhood convenience store, I haven't noticed the kind of wild markup you sometimes expect from smaller shops. Honestly, the biggest appeal is just convenience. It's one of those easy local corner spots where you can pop in and out quickly without having to make a whole mission out of it or fight major intersections/freeway traffic just to grab a few things. I still don't fully know their hours yet, but I've stopped in during the earlier part of the afternoon and they've been open. Funny enough, there have even been times where it didn't look open at first glance, but they actually were. I'll definitely ask about the hours next time. People working there have always been super kind, and overall it just feels like a solid neighborhood spot. Only downside I have encountered is parking can get a little chaotic when the club in the same parking lot is busy... although, admitt3dly that was one of the more entertaining trips in... otherwise it's an easy stop when you need something quick.

Fry's Marketplace is about five minutes from our place in Ahwatukee, which already gives it a big…read moreadvantage. When a store is this close and this consistent, it becomes part of the routine whether you plan it or not. This is one of the larger Fry's locations, so you get a little bit of everything. Full grocery selection, decent produce, a solid meat and seafood counter, bakery, deli, even some household goods mixed in. It's the kind of place where you can walk in for a few things and realistically walk out having checked off your entire list. The layout mostly makes sense. Aisles are wide enough, signage is clear, and after a couple visits you don't really have to think about where things are. It's not one of those stores where you feel like you're navigating a maze every time you go in. Quality is generally good. Produce is fresh more often than not, and the selection is broad enough that you're not settling. Same goes for the rest of the store. Nothing feels neglected or picked over unless you hit it at a bad time. Staff has always been helpful when needed, but not hovering. Quick interactions, point you in the right direction, keep things moving. Checkout lines can vary depending on the time of day, but that's pretty standard anywhere. It's not a perfect store. You'll hit the occasional crowded evening or a product that's out of stock. But those are small things in the bigger picture. What matters is this. It's close, it's dependable, and it does what you need it to do without turning a simple grocery run into a chore. Four stars, and it earns them through consistency.

Good overall but lately the grocery pick up has been lacking. Probably the last 5 times my orders…read morehave been postponed, and more than once I show up to pick up when the order is supposed to be ready and I get kicked back (after I've indicated arrival on the app and request for the order to be brought out, all of a sudden that goes away and I sit there waiting for a good while, and have to check in again.) Today I've been here for 25 minutes (not exaggerating) and the poor guy is running around. I GET THAT THIS AREA OF THE BUSINESS IS GROWING, but PLEASE HIRE MORE PEOPLE FOR THIS because it's getting out of hand. I'm putting my orders at the fry's on Ray Rd moving forward.

We stopped in this store to kill some time while waiting for our flight. They had Phoenix magnets,…read moresouvenirs, and all kinds of little trinkets. They also carried the usual airport store items, including candy, shirts, pillows, snacks, and other travel necessities. A lot of the regular merchandise was overpriced, which is typical for an airport, but I actually did not think the Phoenix souvenirs were too expensive. They also had self checkout stations, so you could quickly pay for your items without waiting in line. The lady working at the counter was very nice and helpful. One thing I really liked was that they sold products from local businesses, including different hot sauces. I thought it was great that travelers could purchase something made locally instead of only seeing the same products found in every airport store. The store was conveniently located right near our departure gate. Overall, it had just about everything you would expect from an airport shop, along with some nice local items and reasonably priced souvenirs.
