Get out here when you can. It's basically tucked away on a dead end industrial street. The beer is top and the venue is cool with a gezellig seating area. They aren't open late, so get there during normal hours. Also check for events - we saw a trombone player in one room connected by webcam to a bassoon player in a second room. Super weird but it was funny to experience.

Go for the beer. Enjoy the venue - quite different from other spots in the 'hood. But promise me you'll listen to the story about the brewery and its owners. It's worth the visit.

There's also a food menu and staff walked around talking orders which was great. Drinks: Tada - Lemon lager super refreshing, light and crisp, really well balanced and tasty. Swinger - Lemon Gose a little funky tangy and tart also very tasty, slightly heavier than the lager but also equally delicious Service was good, quick and efficient. Overall really enjoyed this brewery, super fun atmosphere, reasonably priced beer, definitely worth a visit when in Amsterdam.

Games, children's books and a lovely neighborhood with plenty to watch and do keep all ages busy and happy. Oedipus, which began with a 2013 kickstart, will be opening its very own radio station on the premises soon, but my son in law tells me that this gem will lose its lease in 2024 and have to move far far away. Bummer.

The bartenders were busy but nice and took care to explain the creative and extensive menu. The second time I came I made a reservation for two online. You pay for the reservation but that amount is then applied to your check. The drinks are quite good and I understand the need for the reservation. It's not a big space but it's very popular so it's consistently full. This is a great bar so I can see why it's so popular. Don't miss Flying Dutchmen Cocktails in Amsterdam.

He said water, so I assumed it was it was tinted from the lighting. When I took a sip it was a flavored water. I asked if it was gluten-free and he was very rude in his response. Basically was like um yea it just has spices in it. Spices may not be gluten free and could be of concern for a celiac. I asked him if any drinks were gluten free and he said all but 2. I wasn't confident that the drinks would be made separately from the non- gluten drinks so I opted not to get one. My friend got the bees knees and said it was really tasty. The server did come back and switch my water to regular at the end but he should have been upfront with what he gave to prevent any exposure to peoples allergies.
