The tasting room is well appointed and the outdoor patio area is pretty large. They primarily brew organic craft beers leaning towards Belgian influences. The beers we had were spectacular. Far superior than anything I've had in America and we've got some darn good breweries. My favorite is the Zatte Tripel. The food offerings were perfectly European. Green cap was only £1.80 a goblet. It was a pale ale, but did have a Belgium hint to it. It tasted great though. The women serving was very friendly, there was loads of interesting locals to (people) watch, huge roller doors so you could view the world, a friendly dog running about outside, blankets if you get cold and lots of great beer. Troost has gone full vegetarian on their burgers and this was the first time in my life I tasted that vegetarian burger replacements have a future. Texture and flavours were spot on. Wouldn't mind coming back for the burgers and will accept that the beers are not as I would like them.
